Is that true you were able to boot. Do you have your data left??? or everything wiped off.
I have same problem. If data is safe I will do this. Then Backup my data. then will use Stock ROM to bootloop it again then I will goto Service centre with a big smile on my face. They will deal it.

Hi ,,
I have lg g3 D855 i flashed wrong rom for another device so now my device died
i try to flash stock rom but the phone did not enter download mode and the screen is off too and the computer did not detect the G3 .
So any idea or method for how to fix my G3
So v give us a list of all of the functioning and non functioning aspects of this problem
---------- Post added at 08:20 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:16 PM ----------
Can you power up the phone? Can you get to any recovery with different key combinations? does the phone heat up after being left on or with the battery in? what happened proceeding what rom on did you flash and what are the components of the roms file that would affect vital startup information for the g3

dude its fully bricked, he cant even get into download mode
I suspect its probably a result of the kernel (boot.img) from the s3 rom which is causing it to brick. If he just wrote a system.img from another phone it would just sit at the lg screen
If he can find a way to wipe the kernel partition then it would probably start. Its because custom roms usually only write stuff to kernel, system and data partitions and nothing else
Did you tried fastboot? Press and hold volume up and plug usb cable like when you want download mode. On PC go to device manager and see if there is Android phone on top of devices and look for the driver for adb interface. You must have Adb installed on PC. If computer recognizes the phone you're good, you can do everything with fastboot commands, flash boot image, twrp... you can even boot boot.img from pc than you can use LG flash tool.

Any error like dload 9008 something?
Unlocked bootloader ,all OK. (via official LG unlock.bin )
Installed TWRP, all OK. Installed STOCK-20a-ROOTED.zip for the LG G4, by cile381 all OK-- but no ROOT.
So I tried STOCK-20a-ROOTED.zip again but this time went with the SU option, and bootloop, loop, loop------------
I did a backup with TWRP before any of this happened ,BUT even though backup is present -- something is read only, I presume it's the system disk.
Would like a bit of help as phone is spanking new and has never left the house or even had my SIM card in it.
Phone get the red swipe over and then the LG Logo comes on and stays looping at that point.
tnx and hope it's not good night

Try to get into download mode. If you don't know how just check this thread. Once done use LGUP to flash the 6.0 kdz (if you want a stock 6.0 ROM), or flash 5.1 KDZ for your device and restore root and TWRP. LGUP thread is located here. Just follow the instructions.
Please keep in mind that there's a way to get out of bootloops 99% of the time (In fact 100% if it's a software problem). Furthermore, if you'd like to have a rooted 6.0 ROM, refurbish to 5.1 and follow these instructions. Hit thanks if this helped
Big thanks to " Follow_and_Feel"
I'm up and running again, now how do root this marshy_mallow. Have a few threads will have to spend more time going through them

As I said. Just refurbish with LGUP to 5.1 (if you're not on 5.1 already) and then root it with this method, flash TWRP (You'll find a lot of threads how to do it) and then follow these instructions and you're on rooted 6.0
Please note that there's no official way to get xposed to H815, since the latest zip is leading to bootloops (If you're interested in further modding). Cheerio my friend Hit thanks if I was of help

What's your problem and what have you tried/done already? I need a little more information (e.g. Device Model, ROM, OS, etc.)

- LG H815
- Android 6.0 Stock Rom with unlocked bootlader, root and twrp
- the bootloop is caused by a change in the build.prop
I already tryed the lg flashtool 2014, lg bridge(it said that there are no problems), lg up (unknown device), adb (no adb connection).
Is there a way to boot into twrp with the hardware keys?

Yes of course there is!
Power off your device (E.g. pull battery), wait until it's completely shut down, now
Hold power button AND Volume Down button
Hold these two buttons until you see the LG logo on your screen
If the logo appears, immediately release ONLY the power button for 1 sec (you're still holding the Volume down button)
Now press and hold power button again (still holding volume down button)
If it now asks you to wipe your system, click "yes" and "yes" and tada...you're in TWRP

Ok. I suggest you re-install LG Flash Tool, re-install drivers and make sure you're using a proper USB-cable. Try it again and then let me know.
Additionally, did you try a CSE flash? I don't know what's the problem, but it actually should recognize your phone, if it's in download mode. Are you sure you're in dl mode?

Ah yeah forgot about that. Well that's quite difficult. What happens if you use LGUP?
Could you send me a screenshot too?

I didn't find a solution to fix that within bootloop
---------- Post added at 06:17 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:56 PM ----------
Not necessary, in bootloop, just connect usb and start lgup, when it detect it, (and it will as unknown mode device) tap com port it was found on and ui will open, then click on phone info, it will connect and establish a valid usb connection to phone and open new prompt with phone info...... Then start adb command prompt and enter 'adb reboot recovery' and bingo you're in recovery.... Solves every bootloop!

Did you know what he mean with "tap com port"?

I guess he means that you have to click on the USB Port on your PC, where LGUP detects your phone. There are several things you can do, if LGUP doesn't detect your phone. Just look through this thread. There has to be a solution to this!!
I was on MM and with an unlocked sim. The phone suddenly turn off and wont turn on using power button. I connect it to PC and successfully install official Nougat using Odin. here is the situation:
1. Phone won't turn on using power button(I also tried combination of keys)
2. With connected charger I can turn on phone and also I can boot into bootloader and recovery but if I try to boot to android the phone stuck on splash loop(with flickering blue led) and after couple of minutes it will restart.
3. If I disconnect charger the phone will be powered off immediately.
4. With connected to charger I can see the battery is fully charged(100%)
5. I try to wipe cache and factory reset after installing Nougat but still got splash loop.
So is there any solution to this issue?

I figured that would be the case. Go onto Sam mobile and download a 6.0.1 image and flash it.

I have fast links for the firmware here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/sp...uide-links-files-update-root-restore-t3366862
There are links for both QC7 (7.0) and QB1 (6.01) there. A LOT faster than Sammobile!
If you just want QB1, grab it from here: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=457095661767144732

I'm sure sure what updato.com is... Try the latest 6.0.1 firmware. Beware, it will take about 2hrs to download.

Did you have exactly the same issues, specially the phone did not turn on but only with connected usb cable to charger or PC?
