[Q] double tap to wake?

Hi everybody, I wanted to ask if it's possible to bring this feature in p6's kernel. I find this device very interesting but I can't understand some things...why almost no developing on this phone? And why putting a sooooo old kernel version? I have already read some posts regarding this, but I can't find precise answers..I can't even find out if someone is working on kernel tweaking and AOSP roms or not

Maybe you should read more? P6 has signature check when you try to flash custom kernel, recovery etc. Only Huawei can tell us the signature key. And P6 running Qemu ( goldfish emulator) doesnt make the things any easier. There is few guys who had tried to port CM to our device, but with no results.
Still, newest china firmware has unlocked bootloader, but the time shows if it was helpful to develop of P6 or not.
Thank you for the right hint. Now I can understand why, OMG this phone is just crazy, it EMULATES android. Now it could sound so dumb but if it isn't a native android phone..can it run windows phone?
Vivo phones come with the off screen double tap feature as well as a touch gesture feature by which you can jump to apps directly: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QzLy9zWO9RA
Ill be disappointed if at least a double tap is not on the Emui 2.0. Its high time

Could now install Google Play Shop
positive - fast booting and very light rom but still useless and looks greate.
Strange. I could use my phone. Problem is, that speaker did not work, therefore incoming calls I have saw as blinking diode and onscreen notification only.

Hello guys!
I'm a new one in Xperia T3 forum so I'd like to ask if this ROM have the same bugs than the official AOSP (no speaker and no camera).
I love pure android and I prefer to have it rather than custom Sony (although I'll give a try).
Also, I can see FXP are building CM12 for our device too but there's no topic in original development! Should we have one?
Have a great day

Well, the topic's name is Free Experia Project so I guess we are talking about unofficial (although sources seem to be official).
Let's hope everything is fixed soon! Thank you very much for your hard work FXP team!!
PS: Can anybody tell me how to root it and install gapps? I see that we don't have any custom recovery so I feel a little bit lost in this topic.
I'll try this ROM ASAP and report if I find any bugs.

To root ready partition image you have to unpack it http://blog.djodjo.org/?p=98, add supersu and su binaries, build system image with it.
gaps you can add the smae way. Check this link: https://code.google.com/p/aosp4nexus5/wiki/AOSPforNexus5#Add_support_for_GApps_%28_Google_Play_Store_%29
Or you can build your own binaries and add any file to it.
This way:

I'm sorry I'm answering so late. First time I've ommited P.S. question. :|

Hm. I am not so optimistic.
1) Recovery. - There is no recovery partition in standard partition layout.
Maybe it could fit in boot partition? I don't know. FlashTool is good external replacement for that kind of software (but it lacks of possibility of system backup - just essential recovery). But recovery is not really necessary. Maybe there is posibility to repartition memory?
2) Last builds. - No, I did not flash it. If you check its announce in main thread you can see that there is no word "seagull". - "Seagul" is code name of D5103.
I've just taken a look in: https://github.com/sonyxperiadev/device-sony-seagull I can not see any updates related to missing audio amp.
This is not definitive. But syncing source code (I've got aosp git repo) I did not found such things too. Anyway still I can mistake.
To be sure you can try this build (I mean last FreeXperia compilation) as it is and rework it if there is some progress.

Likely not, but why bother. If this device gets traction there will be CM for it but I'm prety sure that won't happen before Xiaomi releases source code. I dearly hope they do that soon, as I've hastily order a Mi 5S yesterday. I hope I'll be able to flash some closer to AOSP ROM as soon as possible. I'm pretty sure I don't really want to use MIUI as my daily driver. I'll surely use it until something better comes along and after I get Google Apps on it.
If someone eventually puts together a CM rom for this device I will try it of course. I try all Roms for whatever device I am on.
That said, I admit that MIUI is not only classy looking, but offers enough customization options to satisfy any modder - my opinion of course.
I have unlocked the bootloader, installed twrp and the latest custom MIUI rom from here and rooted the device. I honestly don't feel like I'm missing anything with this device.
4gb ram, 128gb storage, Snapdragon 821! I easily get about 5.5 hrs sot.
I really like this device. I'm very satisfied.

when making the thread you have to select from dropdown about what android version you are building so android O is probably not available yet that is why he selected N.

I can help test this ROM if calling, etc is working
How long we can expect a next update? And are you looking forward to supporting this rom in the future?
Thanks for the work.
Volte is not working .
Hello thanks hogger,
There's something called courtesy. When it's really clear that Davide was working on AEX and fixing things, it was a bad move for you to post a build with his sources before he posted his build. He is focusing on quality and trying to fix all major bugs before releasing instead of giving people half baked stuff. So I'd suggest you get this thread closed and not pull such stuff in the future.
Regards,
Another person who was able to boot oreo but is waiting for Davide to release his stuff first
So far, loving the ROM. I've been waiting for this ROM for a long time now. And here are few things
Cons:
VoLTE not working
Recents tiles are inverted
Camera doesn't work as expected.
Heating can be expected.
Pros:
Smooth for an initial build
Android O, period
Its simple and clean.
Hi sir,
Your work is amazing, i can't even imagine how you managed to fork my great and better than you fellow friend Davide's device trees and compiled the rom.
Truly amazing sir.
I admire your work, I still can't think how much brains would it be needed for making an unofficial thread even when Davide(my great and better than you fellow friend) didn't gave a word of quitting the AospExtended.
You are truly awesome and Davide's(my great and better than you fellow friend) work will not be as good as yours i think.
Thanks a lot for your true hardwork rather than Davide's(my great and better than you fellow friend) simple bug fixing work.
Thanks again.
I wanna donate you rather than donating hard working Davide(my great and better than you fellow friend)

Harvey Spectar

for More Information look after the Thread of every Rom in xda.
They are not recoumended as Daily driver, but if you don´t use the Bug relatet stuff you can try.

Can I install Android Oreo Rom right away - if presently in the LG G4 smartphone

So the transfer of files via Bluetooth works. Only conversations do not work
