Installed CM11 nighly form 10.10.2014. Noticed bugs: Dialer blocks while receiving calls (fatality); Contacts: important vcards from extsdcard crashes;
Installed CM10 latest stable - Contacts won't see ext sd card mounted (I guess) since it says it found no vcard to import from there. Really don't feel motivated to go any further, restoring stock..

Ever lasting boot
Hey there, I recently followed this tutorial on how to install Cyanogenmod on your GT-I9195. Though, I have ran into a very annoying issue and I'm stuck without any clue on how to solve it:
I rooted my phone successfully using CMW and the rootkit supplied in the rooting thread referred to here. The phone worked fine and SuperSU was present after the root.
I then proceeded to wipe userdata / cache and install the latest CyanogenMod 11 nightly(11/11/2014) + Gapps supplied from this thread.
I rebooted the phone after the installation was complete of both CyanogenMod and Gapps.
I was greeted with a never ending Cyanogenmod booting screen.
I am not using a custom kernel, thought I'd just mention that too.
I tried just installing Cyanogenmod and rebooting too, still a never ending boot screen.
I am really lost because this has worked for just about everyone who replies to this thread. I noticed some people have been having problems lately, could it just be the latest nightly causing problems?

EDIT: I installed CyanogenMod 11 M12 and now it works perfectly! The build from 11/11/2014 is not working properly it seems.

first off i would like to sincerely say thank you to arco68. I wish i found your cf auto root app sooner as i think it is by the best method off gaining root access by far! I just switched to android 2 years ago and just love it compared to fighting with jailbroken pos! Lol... I see arco68 is working on this cyanogenmod rom for i9195? I have a sgh-si257m and as far i know is pretty much the same cell except for fm radio? I rooted with cf auto to keep my device name and flags default ( again hail arco68) . But before i jump and mess something up (done that before) can someone confirm i can just do a normal rom flash and gapps and everything should work? ( even tho i have different phone)
Does this rom have its own kernel? If so will my device name change? Sorry for the newbie questions im still learning. Again thanks to arco68 i wish i could donate for your hard work but im layed off right now and with 3 kids.....well once im working i sure will. Thank you All

It has its own kernel, and device name will not change. Installing it will trigger knox though.

Max call volume in S4 Mini CM11
Hi,
I have a problem with call volume in S4 mini with cm-11-20141202-NIGHTLY. So in every call, the sound volume is set to max and I need to turn it down (call sound volume setting isn't remember in the next call). It's really annoying. If you resolve this problem please send me information how to do it.

Hi guys, I'm new here, I've just bought a s4 mini and I want to install this rom on it. I have 4.2.2 ml4 on the phone, knox enabled. I've read around the forum, but I'm still a little bit in the dark. One question would be if I install a custom rom, there is no way to do it without tripping knox as it needs custom recovery? And the second one do I need to be on a specific baseband jb or kk to install kk? Thanks

On both questions the answer is NO.
I have flashed my S4 LTE just after I unboxing the phone and downloaded all I need from Arco's thread for root.

Your rom is very good, but i think, is can to a better if getting to merge into this mod: [YKG] Real Xperia Z3 Super Stereo Sound
I think this sound mod is very-very good, and useful. This add a stereo feature for a loud speaker default (nearly, but better than the default), add a clearer sound quality for headphones, and more..
I think this is can to make a more better EVO 10 version in the future.

as you guys know, this rom worked perfectly with the 4k mod, it just that z1c phone have poor camera that didnt even look like 20.7mp cam. even the camera is poor when an image is zoom in when compared to others like samsung nexus.
and yes i admit that this is a phone not a camera n its a 2013 phone .
in my case the 4k and timeshift are fully working but the quality isnt near enough as 4k as its should be, mine would say 4k vid can be zoom, crop without any pixelated nor blurry.
in z1c the vid is ridiculously big in size and i would say stock cam is sufficient enough . this rom really really good as far as until today,i just do clean install and until now never had cam freeze, maybe in some phone are having freeze depending on manufacture, again really nice rom for daily use

I think this is a great idea i still have evo5 with pure audio mod flashed and ykg v15 and both the speakers and the headphones sound awesome

Network issues (radio/baseband)
Hi there, I think this rom is awesome however I am having trouble getting anything above 2G. I have tried flashing stock .108 and .157 (latest) basebands without wipe etc and still can't get it to work. I think my variant is UK. Can anyone send me a working radio/baseband file please? I think the files within a stock rom FTF file should be amss_fs_2.sin, amss_fs_1/sin, amss_fsg.sin, and loader.sin. If could extract these files that work and share a link with us that would be great!
UPDATE: Downloading an older ROM where its baseband worked in the past for me http://dl.weeaboo.com/Z1Compact/D5503_14.2.A.1.114_Generic%20UK.ftf however I get signal drops.

There's no point in flashing your phone without wiping data, the difference between the kernels of the different builds will leave you with an unstable or badly performing system.
No one has reoprted no network in the KitSlim thread, that I know of. Most problems arise from a bad install where the instructions were not followed and a full wipe not completed. Wipes between firmware builds are essential because of the reason just mentioned.
If you are keen to get the latest firmware then you should head over to IaguCool' s thread on Xperia Firmware Downloader & Checker. Follow the instructuions there. You will need a copy of Flashtool and it'd be good to read the thread on 'how to' as all the instructions are there, rather than jump to the last page and ask, which is what everybody does.

I did do a full wipe you see but you are right, after a full reinstall of the stock .108 I was able to get the network back. I was doing it right all along but for some reason when I was about to download network settings my provider (EE) was not listed. Gave them a ring and they sent me the configuration and now it's working better than previously (no signal drop outs). I know very well how to use the Flashtool and where to get it in addition to the stock roms and no I did not just jumped to the last page and ask. There are people out there who exhaust all possibilities before asking for help you know. No one having issues with network you say? Then perhaps you are the one who needs read or should I say search the thread. I will give you a hint, search for terms "radio" and "baseband" and you will all of them with no clearly stated fix. Had this issue in the past with dual recovery and root flash on stock with locked bootloader; exhausted that thread as well!

Install NDR Utils, that gives you the option to restart into Phils or TWRP.
Flashing .157 via Flashtool is very easy, if done properly (select all the wipe tickboxes, but exclude TA), it will leave you with a blank up to date phone, with none of your data left on it.
Having .108 already on it will not make any difference. Obviously flashing the phone will remove recovery and root.

So sad but whenever i try a lp rom i restore my backup of KitSlim_AMG EVO 9.
There are many things i can't stand in android 5.

Is the MMS sending and receiving in the Conversations app working? I have tried adding the Conversations app in LX906 and even with telephony provider folder in data deleted I was not able to send/receive MMS messages at all. Also any idea when the Legend version will be uploaded?

No, these are ICS-kernels, there's a lupus JB-kernel also, but RepeXpersiS ROM is based on CM11/KK, so you need a matching KK-kernel and it's almost inside the ROM .zip.
Take a look into the main thread, 2nd post has the instructions, and maybe you'll have to take a look into LX CM11 thread also.

ihave insatalled this rom.First Thanks for the beautiful rom. But evrytime i reboot the device, it asks for language. and if the phone goes into deep sleep, it goes into sleep to death.I have to pull the battery every morning. i tried installing it twice.Both was clean install. Tried with 0906build kernel and the latest kernel,still the problem persist.

The ROM version You flashed has TWRP version which does not work on the Xperia S. Follow the procedure here to flash working version TWRP.

I think the Slimkat ROM doesn't support fotakernel TWRP. And unfortunately, I never used that ROM, so I can't tell You which recovery works on it.

after installing this rom the phone doesnt charge...it went from 52% to 0% and died while connected to the charger...now it randomly turns on and says 0%charging and dies again...this cycle keeps on continuing...please help...im a noob btw ..until it died down it worked perfectly...no errors and everything worked as it should

This ROM was stable enough for Me for a daily driver. Bluetooth, WiFi, Camera worked fine for Me. For better camera, You can use the Google Camera from Play Store. You can find the gapps here.

Go to settings/about phone and tap build number 7 times and enable developers options. Go to developers options and 1/3 of the way down is root options. Choose app, app and ADB, and one other...

Will this be updated frequently as CM12 unnofficial?

Autorotation is not working ((

I noted that sometimes autorotation is not working... Only restart helps.

Hi I cannot use another keyboard that the built-in one.
When I try yo access the keyboard item in the settings menu, all I get is a FC. I've tried with v 5.3.8 and 5.3.9 (both after clean install). Am I the only one?

Hello and thanks for working on our device. Few things I need to know before I download and install this ROM over my stock 4.4.2 are: my WiFi needs to be always on so is there any problem with WiFi in the newest version? Are there gonna be any random reboots? Cause even one can ruin my work. Also can I use cm11-12 themes!?

I answer myself : no, it's even present in v5.4.0 ?

Keyboard selection still broken.
Been using KK version on my phone for a while. Want to use Lp version on my table but the keyboard issue is apain and still present...

I get messages "google play services stopped working" when launching apps, or when I go to settings, when I start the device...why ???

What script does RR use? Loki or Bump? I have a TWRP 2.8.6.0 bump version.

Keyboard issue is gone!!! I can use Swiftkey again with the last build!!! Thanks for your job man.

Try another Gapps :good:

Problem with CaptiveLoginPortal. The only bug so far. Pretty good ROM, though.
