Nexus 5X issue with incoming calls - Nexus 5X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. I got Nexus 5X and it has issue with incoming calls. It's weird because I already swap the phone and the SIM due to failure ones (same with the previous). It happens when the phone screen is locked and sometimes it cannot receive incoming calls. And caller hear a voice message from the operator that the phone is turned off. But when I unlock the phone screen it is OK. I cannot keep the screen always on
I updated the OS but still the issue persist. I thought that was SIM issue and I took another then switch the phone for another. Three of my friends got the same phone, same Android version and they have no issue (using same mobile operator). Any ideas? Is there anything I can do?

What kernel/ROM are you using?

I'm on a different rom and that has happened to me randomly for the past 3+ weeks.
It's likely not a phone/software issue
you likely need to call sprint and having it reprogrammed. meaning, someone likely is using your info.
Did you ever get this issue solved? I noticed in one of your other threads you were using Google Voice. Google Voice has caused many headaches for people regarding unreceived text messages, voicemails, and calls.

Nexus 4 only boots if flightmode is activated

I have a strange problem with my Nexus 4 16gb. When I start or reboot the phone, the screen is black (as in the picture). I can activate the flightmode in the pull down-menu (which is still working) and reboot again (then it is working and i can enter my pin and deactivate the flight-mode after it is running). I am using the newest cm13 but the error occurred also in the stable CM12 version. At this time I had no idea that putting the phone in flightmode would solve this problem temporaly, so I installed a new ROM everytime... I already ordered a new sim-card but i do not think that this is the cause for the problem because booting without the sim-card does not solve this error.

Had this issue myself in my phone. Replaced my screen first from lg guys, didn't help. Then got the motherboard changed and works fine now. Turns out bad connection between screen and motherboard is causing the trouble

Celullar problems with Nexus 5x when screen off, device asleep

Sometimes there is no network service when screen is off or phone asleep. I recently changed sim card, that didnt work. I think doze messes this up somehow.
So I added a screenshot: I just came to a different location and when i turned my screen on there was no signal but a sec later the signal was good (in the same place) i literally watched it turn to almost full signal when i turned on the screen...
I had some problems, when i send an SMS it doesnt arrive or arrives late...
Thanks for your help!

This seems to be a software problem, if you use any battery saving application, disable it if not, clear cache, if that doesn't work, go to safe mode and see if the problem persists if not, a 3rd party application can cause this if that doesn't help, Flash stock firmware again. If that doesn't help you, I'd recommend you go to a LG service center

Note 10 + auto speaker on Bug

Hello Folks,
Ever since I bought this Note 10+ , i havn't been able to use it as a phone properly because of an issue which is driving me crazy.
On this phone, the outogoing phone calls would suddenly go on loudspeaker, even when i have not pressed the speaker button and the speker does not show as green also.
The same happens for WhatsApp calls also, both incoming and outgoing. The call would start in earpiece but then suddenly the loudspeaker turns on and everyone else around me can hear the conversation.
This is such a huge privacy concern and bugs like this are not acceptable for a phone this expensive.
Does anyone else experience this and if yes were you able to find a fix ?

There is a setting to automatically turn speaker on when the phone is not near your ear, check it out
