Hi, some months ago I bought a S4 mini. I'm Italian so when I bought the phone it had a Jelly Bean firmware.
Samsung has not released a KitKat firmware for the Italian phones yet, so I used Odin to flash a KitKat stock firmware, I used the Spanish firmware (I9195XXUCNE6).
It works really good but I have a big problem with push notifications: they don't arrive in time or they don't arrive at all!
So I've installed PNF but it doesn't fix the problem.
When push notifications don't work and I open Play Services Monitor in PNF, I read NOT CONNECTED!
So I've taken a screenshot of the Events Log and the result is the first image in the attachments.
Do other people with KitKat have this problem? What can I do to fix that kind of error (FailedHeartbeat)? Could it depend from my Internet network?
Moreover, some days ago I took another screenshot and the error is in the second image in the attachments.

I just got a new galaxy a5 2017, and i saw that the phone doesn't have any rom on the dev page.
So I would like to dev one by myself but before I begin the project i have a few question, I have already searched on internet but every tutorial have been done in 2012-2013. I need to tell you that I never build any rom .
The GA5 2017 doesn't have samsung update to nougat so can I take nougat AOSP ?
How can I be sure that the bottom will match with the rom ? (when I push power bottom, the phone will start ?)
How to be sure that every hardware will match with the software (APN, BOTTOM, SCREEN, SENSORS ETC) ?
Does samsung give a sort of map of the different hardware of the phone to be recognize by the software ?
So before I begin I need to know those things and if you have any others advices they are welcome. If you are a developper, I will be very interested if you can help me and learn me. :good:

I am a big fan of MultiRom and DualBoot and any other "multibooting" solutions
So I decided to take a look at DualBoot since it is more than less easy solution…
So I added S9/9+ (Exynos) properties to devices.json, but there are other known bug with DualBoot, so I fixed it by patching the kernel…
But then I get other TouchWizard Related Bug ?, after bootingup the rom I can't unlock the device, after entering the code System UI is ForceClosing and need to enter code other time ?, so it's impossible to unlock the device ?
If somebody can help to fix this problem we will get working DualBoot Patcher

I tried to use the modded .json file from VagKout but on the one hand it crashes randomely and always on the ´Roms´ page an on the other there is no S9 shown in the list of devices?!

meanwhile is there a version (lineage or whatever)available which can be applied to a Samsung S5 mini?
I am always struggling, cause the posts are mostly for Samsung S5 and when reading there is no list included which type
of S5 it is working on. I think a better specification in the posts wpould help a lot.
