I am a big fan of MultiRom and DualBoot and any other "multibooting" solutions
So I decided to take a look at DualBoot since it is more than less easy solution…
So I added S9/9+ (Exynos) properties to devices.json, but there are other known bug with DualBoot, so I fixed it by patching the kernel…
But then I get other TouchWizard Related Bug ?, after bootingup the rom I can't unlock the device, after entering the code System UI is ForceClosing and need to enter code other time ?, so it's impossible to unlock the device ?
If somebody can help to fix this problem we will get working DualBoot Patcher

I tried to use the modded .json file from VagKout but on the one hand it crashes randomely and always on the ´Roms´ page an on the other there is no S9 shown in the list of devices?!

Hi,
Lately I was playing with different Android kernels and found one that kinda works - it boots to Android about 50% of the time, you have to play with enabling / disabling phone before
running haret to get it going and once it does boot, only thing that works is screen. Keyboard, radio, sound... that's all unresponsive. Touch screen works but it is reverted.
I beleive that this kernel is uncompressed version of one of Toshiba TG01 early builds but I can't remember where did I downloaded it. If somebody want to give it a try check my post at android-on-lg-expoiq thread at lg-expo . com.
Recently, I discovered that Expo service manual is available at w w w . cpkb . org/wiki/LG_GW820_eXpo_service_manual , and that's great help in developing linux kernel
for our device.
Would anyone be interested in such project ?

I started with markinus's tg01 branch, I was able to compile older kernel ( up to "msm_ts: add support for invert x/y axes" commit ) and have some success with it.
Device does boot ( as long as you keep it connected with usb cable to pc) but touch screen is reverted on x axis, so right now I'm trying to fix that.
I have very limited knowledge in coding, so it might take a while

I must be missing something - which devices are supported? Is the Lumia 900 supported? Does it needs to be dev-unlocked, or interop unlocked?

its not an installable cab or xap, I believe this needs built in to the ROM. as far as I know there is still no interop unlock for the 900 let alone new bootloaders and custom ROMs

Im haveing the same problum trying to buld a rom for the hd2 with sys 8858 a diffrent unlocking method works fine but not these files cause? unknowen. it seams that hd2 owener did use this metod in his dnynamics rom. witch is custom but still omatter what i do im stuck at boot logo!
it would be nice if someone could post better dicriptions as to what the packages do? like for instance witch one will give added sicurity and witch one is for native applications?
When i cook my Rom for Titan with FU v4 my HTC_OEMapps are not installed and With v3 all are installed.

okay well why are we getting stuck at the boot logo? why are thare dll's in some Modules? & is this download missing package?
eg: Pkg_PlatformInterop
is something missing or we just need some instuction?

It's my first topic on XDA but I watch XDA's activity for 2/3 years.
Now, I have a serious problem and I didn't see anything about him.
I bought my tab 3 10.1 on a french distributor (RueDuCommerce). It works well (as good as can a tab 3). I root this tablet and install some ROM (to remove the boring TouchWiz). It works but big apps like XBMC crashed. I think that's because it uses too many memory.
I gave it to my mum, so I flashed a stock ROM via this site. After a while, every apps clashed, at start or in use.
So decided to flash a stock ROM from Sammobile and it's the same.
Can you help me, by show me how to restore everything correctly to use my warranty ? Or fix this bug ? Because it's unusuable :/

I've found the problem but I don't know how to fix it.
There is a issue when the RAM is overload. I can go through it by clean current application.
I must found a way to do it automatically. An idea ?
Yesterday I bricked my brand new P8000(B) - the new version with Marshmallow 'out of the box' (and the new SIM slots etc...)
I tryed to reflash several stock- and custom ROM's but they don't work because they are made for the 'old' version and there must be major differences in the hardware. At the moment the main problem is that the LCD driver is wrong and the display shows only lines and blurry spots
The Phone was running on ROM "P8000_6.0_20160516" - this ROM is not available at needrom or bbs.elephone.hk even Google doesnt know
It would help a lot if some could supply the ROM "P8000_6.0_20160516" - thank you!

I can do nothing else than blaming you, I wrote a reply yesterday to the eragon forum that there's someone else who flashed -not even a custom rom- just the root .zip that was for the "old" p8000 and got his phone bricked the same way as you (LCD driver problem). That's why I asked for a dump/backup. It could have been useful for you too (as in this case) and for the other guy too. But nevermind, I hope that you learn from this for later things... anyways, the other guy has contacted elephone on their facebook, so I hope you'll get the rom so you can use your device again. Good luck!
I have this version too, just got it today.
If someone can explain to me how to create the scatter file and the backup, I'll do it.
I have some experience with this stuff, but MTKDroidTools tells me unknown rom structure.

I do have the same problem (see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/elephone-p8000/general/rom-p8000-t3431571 ). I just wanted to root the phone because I liked to change the wifi modem file but i didn't even realize that I got another version of the phone at this point, so I bricked it.
I also contacted the support via facebook, but the support guy had to ask the engineers for help.
But maybe someone can help Emileh taking a dump of his phone, that would be really great!

you are sooo right but I have'n expected that two phones of the same type contain conplete different hardware respectively the firmware is not supporting both hardware versions. Even the manufacturer does not metion to check the hardware version before flashing...

I do have a second 'untouched' P8000(B) too - and I'm starving to copy the firmware from this working phone to the faulty phone if someone could explain how...

flo1k managed to get a stock ROM for this hardware version - the softwarepackage is named K06TE-A.A.vR14.E1.160707 and should be available at the elephone forum soon....

I had updated my Realme x with Realme UI and found some odd things (You can say a bug)
As of yet, I've found many things, but I didn't understand the solution so I am just telling you one problem and solution of that.
Failed to load photo
Don't clear the photos storage from the Phone Manager app.
Otherwise, you can get the error "Failed to load photo"
I will be updating more when I got the solutions to bugs.
Although, probably in a few days/months, Realme can provide the update which will fix known issues.
