I have a Verizon HTC One m9, s-off, and locked bootloader. I want to change to international version, and I have SuperCID. I tried to flash RUU_HIMA_UL_N70_SENSE80_ATT_MR_NA_Gen_Unlock_4.14.617.6, and the RUU stop the process in the beginning and returns Error 132: Signature error
Any idea to fix this problem?
Partial solution
Reading different pages i found the solution, I flash this file firmware_4.14.617.6_NoWipe.zip, and flash the firmware but the phone not recognizes the SIM, and the signal is not present, I found that in Settings, About, Software Information, the Baseband version is Unknow, this must be the reason for this error.
In the download mode, the information about the radio is Radio-01.01_U11440971_103.00.61018G_F, any idea about he correct radio that I need.
I have the exact same problem, after converting my Verizon M9 to BSUS01 7.0 . I also lost my baseband and imei .
Did you find the solution ?
Thank you
No, i can´t found the solution, them i returns to stock rom, I flash the correct RUU img from download mode.

I have an HTC One M9 that up until yesterday had an unlocked bootloader and had S-Off.
It was running a pretty old ROM so I decided to update it. My first attempt was Viper.
After installing through TWRP recovery it would only take me to the TWRP boot screen after rebooting.
I attempted another ROM, this time Revolution and got the same results.
I’ve been messing with it for hours and somehow I have S-ON and the bootloader is locked. Actually it says RELOCKED.
It has no OS and it will no longer go to Recovery mode. I think the TWRP I tried to install is too new for it.
I’ve performed the HTC bootloader unlock procedure a few times and although it says successful, after reboot, its still relocked.
Am I screwed, or is there something more I can try?
If bootloader is looked, the only solution is to try to flasher the latest ruu according to the model of your M9. It goes into downloading mode??

Yes, it goes into download mode. I've tried the only Telus ruu I could find (RUU_HIMA_UL_M60_SENSE70_ATT_MR_NA_Gen_Unlock_3.35.617.31.exe)
and I get a Error 131 Customer ID Error.
I just tried a Sprint ruu (RUU_HIMA_WHL_M60_SENSE70_SPCS_MR_Sprint_WWE_3.41.651.21.exe) and I got Error 155 Unknown Error. They both fail right after it displays Updating Signatures.
I'm in Canada and it's a Telus phone but it's carrier unlocked.
Do I need to use a Telus RUU or should any Canadian RUU work on it?
are you sure yours already s-off?
1. re flash lastest TWRP
2. flash required lastest firmware (s-off)
Firmware 3.35.401.12 is required for proper installation! Download (S-OFF ONLY)
3. flash your fav lastest custom rom
Yes, it's definitely S-On.
Any Canadians out there? After some reading I realize I need an RUU of a specific sku. In my case 661.
I need a Telus RUU of 2.11.661.5 or higher for the M9. I'm hoping that will resolve my issue.
My HTC M8 VZW has some issues ( I am S-off. TWRP and Bootloader unlocked )
1. Modelid - 0P6B10\x000* Formerly 0P6B20000 :crying:
2. RUU giving errors to flash - Modelid error
3. NO signal - No Sim ( Sim not recognized)
4. Fastboot error while flashing radio ( remote not allowed )
if i can be directed to the proper nandroid backup to flash, or radio file I will be very happy for the holiday. Thanks in advance for any help suggested.
First - you're in wrong device section .. this is M8s not regular M8.
1. change back MID to VZW - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2708581
2. RUU won't work and that MID - you need to fix item 1 first
3. What did you do ? Flashed a GSM firmware ? That's may result in permanent radio brick
4. No idea
You can try any custom ROM with VZW support while looking for nandroid and RUU
http://forum.xda-developers.com/verizon-htc-one-m8/development
Thanks for your response ckpv5, I appreciate it, been through those posts so many times it aint funny , will look for roms as u suggest :crying::crying::crying:
ckpv5 is it possible you can direct me to the radio.zip to flash for signal on the VZW M8
How to help you when you don't answer my question (item 3) ?
You can find the radio image in firmware.zip that you can find in Verizon thread .. there are 3 or 4 related threads. But whether they will work or not depends on your answer to my question on why the signal is lost.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...pment/stock-m-firmware-nand-recovery-t3330972
http://forum.xda-developers.com/ver...-4-17-605-9-stock-resources-firmware-t3196906
I think I flashed a wrong radio when my modelid got messed up, trying to run a ruu of a different variant that matched the messed up modelid ckpv5, but I don't think am getting my max signal capacity, I live in the Caribbean, Trinidad and Tobago. Hope the links you sent could help with better radio signal
Thanks again

You should take note that the Verizon variant is fairly unique, and cannot be "converted" to other carrier version. Do not flash another version's RUU, radio, or firmware to the Verizon variant. The radio issue was direct result of flashing another version's radio or firmware. You were lucky that flashing the proper (Verizon) radio fixed the issue. We've seen cases (flashing wrong radio to Verizon M8) where the damage is permanent, and can't be fixed by flashing the proper radio, firmware, etc.
Simply put, the MID and a Verizon variant should not be modified (from the original MID), and you should never try to run another version's radio, firmware, or RUU to a Verizon M8.
Hi, everybody, This is my first thread in this wonderfull comunity.
I own a HTC one m9 Hima UHL
-Android 5.0.2
-Sense 7.0
-Soft. version: 1.10.709.2
-MID: 0PJA11000 (the original was 2PRG10000)
-CID: 11111111 (the original was HTC__621)
-What is really great is that I GOT S-OFF AND BOOTLOADER UNLOOKED (also rooted by KINGO app)
As the title says I can boot into android and use my phone normally, but due to a several tries to update my phone to android Nougat, I surelly did something wrong
-RUU.EXE NOT WORKING (I just tried with RUU1.36.709.3.exe)
Not because of the version, is bause I can not enter in download mode, afeter running the wizard it just reboot the device.
-I DO CAN ENTER TO BOOTLOADER MODE
But anithing to do from here, if I go to to recovery (latest TWRP installed when download mode still working) or download mode, It goes to the same place "nowere", just appear a message bellow about flashing unoficial Rom, and legal stuffs, etc......
PLEASE ANY HELP (about something not tried yet) WILL BE TOTALLY APPRECIATE
I JUST WANT TO TAKE MY PHONE TO STOCK AGAIN (keeping the s-off and boatloader)
PS:
I read that once getting s-off and bootloader unlocked, it would be normal to "Cross-Flash firmware", so what I was trying to do before messing all up was to install a different firmware (different SKU or region, e.g. 3.x.617.x), and once there apply the recent released 4.19.617.1. (If somebody can correct me about this as well it would be great, but my priority now is to reset my phone to factory, no problem about personal data loss)

First of all: Please reduce the size of the text in your post. It's hard to read.
You can flash RUUs for different regions with S-OFF but you don't own a M9. The M9 has 0PJA***** model IDs. Your phone's original model ID is 2PRG1000. It's probably a M9+ or a M9+ Prime Camera edition or something like that. These devices are completely different than the M9. Therefore you shoudn't flash any M9 files on your phone unless you want a fancy new paperweight.
I recommend you reverting your MID and your CID back to their original values and try to flash a RUU for your device. (I don't know whether there is one you could use. I don't own your device and therefore have no knowledge about the file that are available for it.) If you can't find a suitable RUU you'll need to contact Llabtoofer's RUU Service.

Dear sir, @Flippy498
Im really greatful for your answer, I can not understand why I did not see what is obvious, It is not the model I thought...
Besides de MID, the product is not Hima, but HIMARUHL, the ram 2gb and Camera 13mp... (yeahh Im very silly)
I searched over Internet and badly there is not too much information about this especific MID number (2PRG10000), wich I think now belonges to a "HTC ONE M9E". Beyond the fact that there is a RUU available or not, I think I can not install one, because once an ruu.exe is runned this one tried to enter to download mode, wich is unavailable, then reboot and throw the error "USB communication failed", Before messing up the phone, the RUU.exe throwed the "signature error" WICH I UNDERSTAND NOW, because I was trying tu run the wrong one; so I appreciate if you suggest me another way different to ruu.exe installing.
Thanks for your great attendance.

Your phone seems to have a mediatek processor. Those devices need to get handled a bit different than snapdragon devices. However, I absolutely have no experiences with mediatek devices. If I were you I'd contact the service I linked in my earlier post...
Hey there,
I own a HTC One M9 with Stock ROM, not rooted, nothing modified. Recently I got the Nougat OTA update as a notification (don't know why not earlier...).
It did update without any problems, but after it, it occured to me that it didn't get any signal. WiFi, bluetooth and everything else works fine, it even recognizes my SIM card.
In the settings, the "flight mode" is grey and permanently "setting off" and I can't set it on or off.
(But strangely, if I hold the power button, it says "airplane mode off", same within the status bar/quick settings.)
I don't know much about flashing etc (nearliy nothing), but I read as most threads which seemed to be similar as I could. Even if some people had the problem with the One X and M8, I couldn't find a solution for me...
I rebootet the phone several times, did the "battery pull out simulation" with power and volume keys, did a factory reset in the settings, wiped cache partition within the recovery mode. Even tried booting in safe mode and a factory reset within the recovery mode.
Nothing works, the airplane mode is still stuck at "setting off" and I don't get any cell phone signal or mobile internet.
Phone /software information:
- Model: HTC One M9; OPJA100
- Not rooted
- "LOCKED"
- htc_hiauhl PVT S-ON
- Software status: Official
- Android-Version: 7.0
- Software-Version: 4.18.111.2
- OpenDSP-20.7.3.00545.8994_1012
- Kernel-Version: 3.10.84-perf-ga97f624
[email protected] #1
SP PREEMPT
- Android safety-patch: 01. Nov. 2016
-Baseband-Version: 01.01_U114401011_117.00.61117G_2_F
- Build-Nr.: 4.18.111.2 CL839204 release-keys
I hope, that it will be fixed, if I flash the Stock ROM myself, but I didn't find one with the same software-version and do not know how to do this.
Any suggestions, what could be wrong and how I manage to fix it?
Thank you all for your help!
Flashing instrtructions can be found in the ReadMe thread. The catch is that no one contributed a RUU or a TWRP backup for your current firmware version, yet.
Therefore, I only see the following solutions at the moment (which all aren't available for free - sorry):
Getting S-OFF and flashing the 3.x RUU for your SKU. (Infos are located in the ReadMe thread.)
Contacting Llabtoofer's RUU service. (A link can be found in the further reading section of the ReadMe thread.)
Searching on sites like ir-file or easy-firmware for the needed RUU. (If you choose this option you'll need your phone's codename which is HIMA_UHL.)
I was able to unlock the Bootloader, flashed TWRP, got S-OFF (didn't get Root, but I don't know why...tried several SuperSU versions...) and changed the CID to be able to flash RUUs without the T-Mobile branding.
But I'm not sure which RUU I can use for flashing with a SD card.
Those I found were only 3.xx with SKU "111", but the actual version is 4.xx.
I thought with S-OFF I would be able to flash early every RUU?
Can someone explain this to me and give me an advice which RUU (preferably a non-branded Nougat one) I can flash and where to get it?
Thank you all in advance for you help!
As written in my last post, no one contributed 4.x files for your SKU, yet.
All needed information and files should be available in the ReadMe thread. There's a conversion guide, the RUU section contains all infos you might need in regard to RUUs and the further reading section contains a link to a spreadsheet with with all SKUs and their meanings.

Thanks again!
I did read those threads, but got a bit confused afterwards... :/
E .g. easy-firmware has a RUU 4.xxx with SKU "111", and as I understood, I can also use free 4.xxx RUUs with SKU "401", because I got S-OFF and changed the CID?
Sorry to bother
That's correct. You can use 401 RUUs thanks to S-OFF, now.
The catch with ir-file and easy-firmware is that their files aren't available for free. Most RUUs in the ReadMe thread got bought on one of those sites in the past.
Since you already paid for S-OFF I'd suggest you to not pay once more. Either convert to SKU 401 or use the infos in the RUU section of the ReadMe thread for flashing the 3.x RUU for your current SKU.
Sent from my HTC One M9 using XDA Labs
Now I got it, thank you!
I tried flashing it with a RUU_4.28.401.3 (worked on the second try, first one didn't find the file).
Flashing worked without problems (checked the phone info), but it's still stuck in the flight mode.
No changes there... :crying:
Is there a chance, that it's still a software issue, maybe with Nougat itself?
Or do I have to "bury" it, because sending to be repaired isn't worth it's value?
If it was a general Nougat problem on the M9 then there would be more threads like this one... Sorry, that I can't provide better news.

So im trying to flash my beloved HTC One M8 back to stock after flashing insertcoin. I get my HTC,plug it in open up my RUU it goes through the setup and when it gets to flashing it it gives me error 155. My bootloader is locked and i am S-OFF. I dont know what to do,if anyone can help it would mean a lot, thank you!
Also i should mention that i have the European HTC One M8 16GB Model: 0P6B100
Fixed! I fixed it by going to HTC's site and downloading a RUU from there. Here you go if you need it:

None of the RUUs on that webpage are for the Euro M8 (specifically). You may have SuperCID or some other condition, which allowed one of those RUUs to work.
You probably don't care to exhaust any more time on this, since you've got an RUU to work. But if you want to know more about the CID on the phone, which RUUs would work (or not work) and why you got Error 155, we might be able to advise provided you give the following info:
- Do fastboot getvar all and post the results (delete IMEI and serial number before posting)
- Tell us what RUU (file name, version number) you originally tried, and which one actually worked
