I used oppo find 7 and used TWRP custom recovery. I have these problem after I flashed to lineage 14.1. My storage split into 3 partitions which is 1. Internal Shared storage(ISS) 2. Sdcard0 and 3. Sdcard1. The problem is when I install apps from play store and will saved in Internal shared storage but the system in ISS almost full.
For your information, after I flashed to lineage the system that used are nearly 22 gig. Is it normal? I already wiped all in recovery mode. So why is this happening. It will cause me a problem when i want to downloas a lot of app but because of insufficient storage I cannot do that. Below is the screenshot prove. I hope someone will solve this problem.

Hi,
I just installed Cyanogenmod 12 into my HTC Desire 816 , for flashing I used TWRP. So the whole proccess was as follows:
1)Install CM via TWRP
2)Reinstall CM and GAAPS
Everything works fine and dandy but I have one big problem. My internal storage only shows 4gb of total space, from which I have only like 1GB of free space available. The phone originally came with 8gb of internal storage, and is just after I did this that it was reduced. I did clean up all the Dalvik cache, I also tried doing a new factory reset, but still it's showing only 4gb.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The phone shows 8 gb but half of that is taken up by the factory OS and empty space allocated for future updates in a seperate partition and the rest is system apps . I actually gained storage space in the partition with the remaining storage after flashing CM so I'm not really sure what's going on with your device but low storage space is just a known issue with this device. Obtain S off thru the Sunshine app ($25) or install a write permission script mod for your particular firmware called a WP_MOD.ko I believe here on XDA and then install Link2SD and get the paid version that allows you to move app data to external SD card then partition the ext SD card using a partition manager exe program on your computer following the Link2SD instructions and you will gain all the extra storage space you will need. I did true S off because I wanted to keep my SE Linux permissions set to enforcing not permissive which the write permission mod does but to each his own.

Dear XDA community
I unlocked the bootloader of xperia M(4gb internal), flashed twrp on it and then a cyanogenmod nightly, but when the device boots up, it only shows 2gbs of memory.
when i open the built i file manager it shows 3 partitions
1st-2gb partition where cyanogen and other apps were installed
2nd-2gb partition shown as encrypted which asks for a password if tried to open and
3rd- my SD card
what i wanted to ask was that-Is it possible for me to use the full 4gb of internal space by somehow removing the encrypted partition
Couldyou make it noob friendly please

No,It's not 4GB means 2G system & data and 2GB for user internal storage that is apps that you install, which reachs up to 1.5GB
The rest you get is 500~800MB free internal
4GB-> System and data (2GB)
-> Internal storage (2GB) ->Users apps & data
If you want space try option"Use sdcard1 as internal" from Settings-> Storage & USB also note max., Limit of ext_sdcard is 32GB which is another damn drawback Xperia M
So I have had put a password in my pithchblack recovery and encrypted the internal storage (don't remember why I did that) however, after that I flashed pixel experience on it then I tried changing the file system to f2fs, now everytime I boot in recovery it asks the decryption password to mount internal storage, I have tried every password I remember ever generated in my mind(or may be missing the one), no luck so far, replaced the recovery, then it shows 16 gb internal storage space. Don't know what to do. Any advice would be appreciated.
Hi,
I don't know why my phone only has 94MB of storage available. My phone was on CrDroid 6.0.1 before I tried to flash LineageOS 16.0 with TWRP 3.3.0 and somehow got messing up. After I flashed the room and booted the system, I found that my storage only has 94MB to install any apps on it. What's really strange is that it showed 16GB internal storage, but I cannot use it. I can use only 94MB from sdcard and this is what became weirder. I didn't put any sdcard on this phone and somehow it shows on my storage. How can I solve this problem?
Currently, the phone is on CrDroid 7.1.2 with TWRP 2.8.7.2

You should follow the steps here to unify the storage: https://forum.xda-developers.com/find-7/general/how-to-guide-8-1-android-lvm-chinese-t3783168
If you didn't know, the Find 7 has a weird thing where they have partitions and only allow ~3gb of app storage unless you unify the storage.

Thank you. I will try to do as you told and update the feedback asap.
when first time I flashed PE 12 rom, Twrp showed the internal storage after wiping and the storage was like 53GB after that I found Aosp 13 rom and wanna flash that to try, after booting into twrp the problem has started the internal storage shown 0mb and tried to format, successful but it only showing 48GB storage only not 53GB some part are missing and in the windows explorer it wont show up with MTP enabled and I tried to repair it showing some error while doing it system ext error, vendor error. I think the partition got some issue with it I dont know how to fix it. I flashed the rom using adb sideload only and that it also not worked properly for me, I lost some storage space in my internal storage now only 48gb available and can't able to flash properly, mount internal storage not working when connected to the computer now I can't able to fully wipe the interanl storage to flash the rom properly. Is there any way to fully format and repair to fix the partition error and to get the full max internal storage capacity.

Where does it show 0MB? In TWRP or the OS itself? If it's in TWRP, I think the problem is your storage is encrypted. So...it can't be read. Which is normal.
It shows the same on my G60. I wouldn't worry about it. I don't think there's anything wrong with your internal storage.
If you want, you can go to TWRP > Wipe > Advanced Wipe, select Internal Storage. You might need to reflash the ROM after that, so you can boot back into the OS.
Personally, I wouldn't mess with these options too much. If it's not a real problem, I wouldn't worry about it.
You can also try a "Repair or Change File System".
I don't know about the MTP thing... Sounds like a driver issue.

in Twrp 0MB,
My internal storage is now only 48gb free after wiping everything was there more like 53gb something I remember.
MTP is media transfer portability to PC didn't work while in Twrp, was working before not now ,
I have tried repair, file system change.
I just wanna know one thing that how much free space left in the 64gb variant after wiping everything in the internal storage.

I don't know man... Some ROMs can take more space than others, which means you will have less space available for you. But I'm not sure I understand where you're getting that information from. Where is that displayed.
Also, I don't know about using MTP (Media Transfer Protocol) from Recovery. If you know it used to work before...then I don't know. I never tried it from Recovery.

I can't. I don't have one... But maybe someone else with the same device can confirm.
