Anyone here has experienced charger that is not working ? I dont know if it is the charger or cable. What alternative charger are you using ? Thanks.
My Google charger doesn't always work am the time either, but I think it is past the warranty, so I have just picked up a USB cable that works, not sure what usbc to use any thoughts.

Any USB C cable should be fine. Compliance has to do with USB A to C cables.

I need a longer charging cord. The factory cords they send with these tabs are wayyyyy too short. 5 feet or so would be perfect. Any recommendations?

I guess I should rephrase. What longer cables have you all used that will charge the tab while using it. Most of the extended USB cables have terrible reviews because they can't supply enough juice. I see the cellet cable has good reviews but no numbers tossed around as to what its output is.

I use a regular, generic (female / male) USB extender cable, connected to the stock Samsung one. Works perfectly.

Ditto, mines only a foot or two longer and it is more than enough distance for me.
Why do you need the extra long cable?
A regular extender cable works likea charm...

Does the phone charge when you directly connect it with the cable?
If so then your qi charger might be broken.

I think I've noticed it not charging rapidly (i.e. lock screen only says "charging") sometimes when I'd been actively using the phone while plugged in.

It's also controlled by how hot the battery is. If battery is hot to a certain degree, phone will simply charger slower.
I have a question the nexus 5x told me that if it is compatible OTG but I have a cable otg that connect to an adapter type C to micro usb and when I put my pendrive is not detected and i tested with anothers pendrives, someone who knows how to do it?

None of my microUSB OTG cables work on the 5X with any of my adapters. Only USB type C OTG cables seem to work.

Using the cable and charge brick that came with my Note 5 N920A. I just noticed that fast charging is not working!
My phone is dead-stock with the exception of running Action Launcher 3 (I downloaded it yesterday).
Has anyone has this happen?

Sometimes I have to unplug the phone from the charger and reconnect ... Making sure the charging brick is plugged in before connecting to the phone.

Is there something wrong with our phones? Have you called AT&T about it being a warranty issue?
This happened months ago to my phone as well. Try a new cable with the charge brick that came with the phone. There is a known issue with the quality of the cable that came with this phone. I haven't had a fast charging issue since using a different cable

ive been through 3 cables... i got frustrated trying to wiggle the cable and make it stay in "sweet spots".... i learned theres a certain amount of gold contact pins in the small male end and over repeated insertions they either fall out or wear down and while you can still get a cable charge with some of the connectors not working, at one point you need a new cable.... a new cable worked for me, then it wore down, maybe i yank on it too hard when i am done charging...
I just housed my note 4 brick and cord

I can confirm. The USB cable they ship with the phone is garbage. I swapped out JUST the USB wire for a better quality one, with sturdier plastic insulation and I get fast charging consistently EVERY time.

It is garbage and for the amount of money we pay for the phone it really shouldn't be garbage like this.. This is Samsung cutting corners!
my car charger (after market) sometimes takes a few plugs when its really hot or really cold in the car for it to switch from cable charging to fast charging. all depends on the cable. the brick either is or isnt fast charge capable
