Stuck trying to factory reset - Nexus 7 (2013) Q&A

Today for some reason I started getting continuous unfortunately Google play services has stopped error message
Over and over again
Tried a few methods and still kept getting message
In the end decided to factory reset via the settings menu
Got to the little green android saying erasing for nearly 3 hours
Tried powering off and going through recovery but as soon as I select recovery it loops back to the erasing screen and that's as far as I can get
Completely stock rom granted the memory is quite full with music and downloaded maps areas but it shouldn't take this long to reset
Any help would be appreciated as I use it for navigation for work mounted in my truck

Just to update I got the android on his back with a red exclamation mark now tried restarting and it's back to erasing screen again

Another update
Managed to get finally past the screen and select factory reset
When I select this it says formatting etc.
The. I get
E/failed to mount cache invalid argument
I can't get any further

Unable to reboot... stuck at white android logo..

I had an issue with prolauncher where i tried to set up a screen 1x1 columns, this put me into a force close loop so i tried a reboot from recovery and have also tried a factory reset however it seems to be stuck in a loop at the screen with "android" where it sort of glimmers across it after the green htc on the white background?
Any ideas on how i get out of this? I'm stuck in the office at the moment so am unable to attach the phone to a pc for now?
Hmm, there are several things you can do, add if I forgot something:
1. Reflash the ROM.
2. Wipe Date and Cache.
3. Restore Nandroid backup if you have one. (I recommend you do this regularly in the future).
4. If you didn't reset to factory after the force close loop you could reinstall it from adb, guess that's not an option now though.

Android cannot load Home

My phone is a canvas a1 with android m on it ( version 6.0.1 ). I was plagued by lots of the "Google x has stopped working" today it became a nuisance as it popped up every 10 seconds, so according to a guy, I cleared the cache after booting into recovery mode and it took a good 5 minutes. After the wiping, I booted up and i get "starting apps" for some 10 second and then the boot logo. This cycle continues forever. And once I did manage to reach the lock screen but then it wouldn't load Home - "couldn't start home". Can anybody help me out of this mess?
Update : now it's showing "optimising app 46 of 95" but after it finishes, I get an empty screen and only the back and multitask button works and, I get an error when I click home - "couldn't start home".
Please help as, though I have another phone, this is very important to me and lots of my things depend on whether this works or not.
Also, I haven't done a reset yet as I thought it'd be good to ask here first.

Samsung S4 Mini (GT-I9195) Stuck on Boot

Hi everyone,
First of all, i've read some posts about similar issues but i couldn't find one that exactly matched mine.
My phone was working perfectly last night, but today when i got up it was turned off.
I imagined that the battery had drained during the night, so i plugged it to the charger and after a while i turned the phone on.
It started alright but then it got stuck on the Samsung logo. It should then go to the "PIN code" screen but instead just stays there.
The Power+Home+Volume Up combination shows me the recovery mode menu with the android lying on his back and with a triangular red exclamation sign. Below there is a message saying "no command". The following options are allowed:
- reeboot system now;
- apply update from ADB;
- apply update from external storage;
- wipe data/factory reset;
- wipe cache partition;
- apply update from cache;
The Power+Home+Volume Down combination shows me the Update/download menu and it allows me to cancel or go to download mode.
My phone is not rooted, everything is original or updated as sugested/requested by the phone.
I haven't installed any new apps yesterday.
So my questions are:
1 - Can I fix this without deleting all of my data from the internal memory, or can still backup my data?
2 - How can I fix this?
Please take into consideration that i am a complete stranger to the "developer's technical language".
Thanks in advance

Messed up my phone

My phone might've got messed up pretty bad so need help.
Let's start from the start--
It has been 6 months since I've been using Cyanogen Mod 12.1 and I've been quite enjoying it except the regular force stops and power downs. Now, since 2 days I can't open my phone.
Two days ago, I thought of doing a factory reset on my phone and while it was on the process, maybe the battery was low or something but it shut itself down. Now, whenever I switch on my phone it shows "To start android, enter your password". I had not given any password to it but still I entered my Google account password and it worked but it showed "Decryption failed" and then tells me to clear the data of the mobile. After that I thought thought that I will be able to clear the data from the "Recovery" menu which is the Cyanogen Default recovery but whenever I try to do it, it says
"E: failed to mount /data (invalid argument)
E: format_volume failed to mount/data, formatting instead
E: format_volume: failed to open/persist/footer
Formatting /cache...
Data Wipe Complete"
What should I do? Please help.

It doesn't even load in fastboot mode.

Your mobile got ebola. It has happened to many of the devices. You can search it in the forum. Sadly, there's no fix for that. Means you have to leave it and move on to newer device.
