Do you want a completely ad-free YouTube app? This patched APK works perfectly like a charm! I have been using this one since its initial release and haven't encountered a single ad since then. The developer has ported or made some tweak to the YouTube adAway xposed module for him to convert it into an APK file. Works on rooted device only.

Installer : bit.ly/2l9Cu5q
^ Direct download links are provided above. I shortened the URL to save space and Im a bit OC with formatting. Don't worry, it doesn't contain any ads.
/* INTSRUCTIONS */
1. Download the APK. (Note: Please save the file on the default 'Download' directory.
2. Download the installer. (Note: This installer is not a complete flashable zip file! You still need the APK file above to make this work.)
3. Flash the installer in your custom recovery.

I installed it with the files from the main thread, and still had ads. Figured it didn't work. However, then I saw an update for YouTube on the play store and downloaded it, thinking it would just go back to the stock app... After that, no ads, yet, anyway! Kind of odd, but we'll see how it goes.
Edit: Back to ads today.
I just keep getting package corrupt error when trying to install

Foreword
Disclaimer: I take no credit for this rom. This CM10 Nightly was developed by a developer named "WFLSL" who posted his work on a Chinese forum called "fengbao.com" (Original link: http://bbs.fengbao.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1219102)
Warning: I am not responsible for any outcomes made by this rom. Install this rom only if you agree that flashing a non-stock rom could result in bricking your your phone, meaning that your phone may be permanently non-functional.
WFLSL, the developer of this rom has been maintaining continuous works in making CM10 available for all LU6200 users, but because he only posted his work on that Chinese website, not many people from other countries know about it.
It is virtually impossible for users who do not speak Chinese to register and use Fengbao.com. Even if you somehow figure out how to register, you won't be able to continue because you can't get the download link which is only revealed upon posting a comment. To post a comment on Fengbao.com, you need to enter a captcha code in Chinese. Obviously most of international users do not know how to read and type in Chinese.
That's why I decided to start this thread to keep you guys with up-to-date CM10 available for our device.
Again I take no credit for this rom. I am not a native Chinese speaker. I am a Korean who just luckily know how to read the Chinese captcha code and enter it. All the thanks should be forwarded to "wflsl" for his great work.
Please note that I may not be able to update this thread as often as you all want me to, but I will try my best.
If there's any problem, moderators can delete this thread. It's 100% okay with me.
CM10 Nightlies for LU6200
This is CM10 Nightly created for LU6200 by WFLSL. (http://bbs.fengbao.com/thread-1181592-1-1.html) My guess is (because I do not fully understand the original post in the Chinese forum) that WFLSL made this rom by porting CM10 for p930. I believe he mentioned that the change log basically follows that of p930.
There are no special modifications or special features other than CM10 stock features. However, I made very simple and minor modifications to this rom 1) to make it more stockish and 2) to fill things that are missing.
1. removed Chinese keyboard.
2. removed Chinese-localized Root Explorer
3. removed an app called 'Rebooter'
4. modified build.prop to change the default language and location to English and US. WFLSL made this default since the December build.
5. removed a script that reboots the device after installing the rom.
6. removed unnecessary server lists in hosts file under system\etc\. This caused issues in using Play Store and some Google services.
7. modified [init.qcom.post_boot.sh] under system\etc\. to make mpdecision and thermald work on LU6200. See the following codes. Texts in red has been added. WFLSL made this default since the December build. So this change is now there already.
Code:
# Post-setup services
case "$target" in
"msm8660_surf" | "msm8660_csfb" | "i_atnt" | "hdk_8x60" | "i_skt" | "i_dcm" | "p930" | "su640"[B][COLOR="Red"] | "lu6200"[/COLOR][/B])
start mpdecision
start thermald
;;
esac
Also in the same file, I changed the following value from 0 to 1. When this is 0, the back light of the touch buttons (menu / home / back) does not work. If you prefer to keep them off, open up this file using Root Explorer or the likes and change the value back to 0.
Code:
echo [B][COLOR="Red"]1[/COLOR][/B] > /sys/class/leds/button-backlight/max_brightness
Installation Instruction
1. Boot into CWM.
2. Back up your current rom.
3. Full wipe. (If you are coming from a previous version of this rom, just wipe cache and dalvik cache.)
4. Install the downloaded rom.
5. Install Gapps : http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip

Change Log

Issues
- If you find your home button does not work after flashing a new rom, you probably flashed wrong Gapps. (Flashing Gapps for Android 4.2 will cause this.) To solve this problem, flash the correct one linked above. If this doesn't fix, factory-wipe your phone, format system, then flash CM10 and gapps.
- Some reported (including myself) that recording 1080p with stock camera is problematic.
Again, I am not the developer of this rom. If you find a bug and can speak Chinese, please visit the original developer's page and report there. My support will be very very limited because I am not a developer at all. (Original link: http://bbs.fengbao.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=1219102)

Thanks for your great effort mate in bringing this out for us.
Thank you for sharing this and thank you for the changes you made. Those are the usual changes I do in all the ROMs I use. Thank you for saving me the trouble.

And thank you too, and to be honest (and not hopefully not being offensive) Optibean has too many other things you have added (like HoloLauncher), some users might not want it and don't want to mess with /system/apps/. So a clean ROM like this one might actually help.
Thank You

Thank you for the support and suggestions. By the way OptiBean will be release in three diff. files:
1st - A clean slate ROM
2nd- A Medium ROM [Minimal Add-ons] Around 200mb size
2nd - Heavy ROM [Lots of System Add-on Apps]
That will be its next release.
Holo launcher was removed and replaced by the latest Trebuchet launcher and some optimization has been made with the ROM.
Hope you will like the next release of Optibean.

Try to turn off wifi when you are not using it. I get average of 1.5% drain if I don't use the phone.
If I leave the wifi on, I also get bad battery life.
If you encounter some ghosting effect (graphic issues) in games like Dead Trigger, try to check "Disable HW overlays" option in Developer options (Settings). this solved my graphic issues.
Everything else is smooth and fast. Battery drains a little faster but tolerable. All in all a great ROM.
The best part is, the original poster gives a full detail of what he changed and never claims the ROM as his release and gives full credit to original developer.
This just replaced MIUI on my phone.

I use profile apps to automatically disablle/enable wifi/bluetooth/gps/etc based on time/schedule.
Just posted 20121125 build. (Same minor modification applied.)
There seem to be very minor changes according to the change log. If you are happy with 1121 build, you can skip this one in my opinion.
One thing I did notice was that the original developer, WFLSL, inserted a new 'hosts' file under system / etc folder. There're a bunch of server lists for Google services, and I am not sure what they are for. (These weren't there in 1121 build.) If you encounter any problem while web browsing or using any Google services, open 'hosts' file and delete everything after the first 2 lines as shown below, save the changes, and reboot.
Code:
#local
127.0.0.1 localhost
i just flashed version 20121125
only 1 problem is play store doesn't load any images T T
try to uninstall latest version 3.10.x the one that come along with this rom
to be older version of 3.9.x but still the same T T
Edited: just notice pins2u said above...i changed hosts file as you said and it's okay now TQ

I think it's not because of the play store, but the file called "hosts" located in system/etc.
Please follow the procedure below.
Open the file with root explorer. You will see bunches of lines.
Delete everything except for the first 2 lines.
It should have only 2 lines as shown below.
Code:
#local
127.0.0.1 localhost
Save it and reboot.
See if it helps. I haven't test the rom myself yet, but will report back when I do.

* Absolutely NO XPOSED F/W or Modules supported. This is a daily driver ROM, with deep integration and modification of stock (Samsung) ROM, hence things will break, I assure you!. See FAQ for more detailed explanation as to why I will NOT support it.
* Do NOT install ChainFire SuperSU, as the ROM has built-in CM/Koush Superuser, which I will manage and update if necessary. (And SuperSU completely messes your system binaries, I have no idea what else is botched hence I will NOT support it).
* Follow the DEV thread rules, this IS a dev thread, if you cannot give possible debugging information (logcat, proper replication of the scenario) do NOT post here, go to the general thread here (TODO add link).
* I will only support Stock Kernel (it is included in the DOWNLOADS section), if you are having issues, I would recommend full wipe, flash ROM and flash the STOCK Kernel, reproduce the issue and use my github issue ticketing to report it.ISSUE Reporting Link
* This is daily driver stock themed ROM, if this is NOT what you are looking for I advice you to STOP and move on to another ROM, save that precious bandwidth.
* As this is distributed as a TWRP recovery install file, your KNOX is already at 0x1, duh! don't bother wasting a post whether it will trip KNOX or not.
* Since your KNOX is tripped, removed all KNOX bits does not make any sense.
* Do not ask for ETA, if and when time permits I will release any updates if there are. Use my github issue ticket tracker for any updates to issues. As I am pretty sure the thread will get derailed (and I will only watch it as time permits), creating an issue ticket is your best bet that it will get my attention.
* NO DPI changes supported, although it is available in Settings. A lot of MI7 TW apks are not built for multi-dpi and since I don't support xposed, you are on your own.
* Since the ROM is designed with SELinux Enforcing kernels like Stock Kernel, which also has additional restriction of not allowing adb root. ROM comes built-in with SSH enabled and defaults to root user. You can use the ssh add key in Settings -> Device -> Misc Device Settings to add the key and you can do all the operations untethered .

In short EMBRYO is your stock/OEM (samsung UVUBMI7 base) ROM, which will have the full support of you hardware (which will be very difficult for any after market ROM to achieve) overlayed with after market (CM/AOKP/SLIM) ROM features as time permits and which fancies my attention .
Needless to say, this is a extremely difficult task and requires very precise skill, understanding of a lot of moving parts (hence the MUST READ section entries) and a lot of patience (I mean a lot). Also I am a stickler for quality and it will show!.
Absolutely NO PERMISSION is given to post this in any other thread or kanging the work.

Wow - this is quite a piece of work here. Had to take it for a spin - no issues to report but wanted to pop in and say holy crap man, this is awesome! The navbar stuff alone... it makes my head hurt. Far better than anything I could ever muddle together that's for sure. Glad you finally got the time to share this - work like this doesn't come around very often, so for that I say - thanks!
Great job man!
Downloading now.. maybe I can find some time and see if my themes are compatible and if not I can make em compatible. Sounds like a awesome rom
Does anybody have a copy or link to the stock kernal? It says access or no such file on the link provided in the o.p. thanks
Hey guys,
as some of you know bponury ended the support for his TouchControl (formerly PGM) app. What means that if somebody wanted to change a kernel to a different one or switch to a different device he will be unable to use the app (which is great IMHO). My idea on this thread is to put all the modules for all kernels and devices so that we'll be able to still use the app. I'm not a developer so if anybody can create flashable zips from those modules I'll be grateful (if this thread kicks-off I'll learn to do it by myself but for now I believe we can manage)
Thanks to bponury who shared a location of modules I was able to extract those from DirtyV. I attach them below. Please send me more modules and I'll put them below.
FYI - if you want to extract the modules by yourself you need to download i.e. File Manager, turn on the Root Explorer option and copy the contents of "/data/data/me.paranoid.touchcontrol/files/" folder.
I believe if we managed to gather greated number of modules this thread could be linked in forums of other devices. But let's start from Gnex. Cheers
I have the Ponury stock modified module. It works on Fancy kernel and the FML omni rom too.
Here's a link to download https://www.dropbox.com/s/79scinuv2q1676m/ponury_stock_modified.zip

I put together these packages which successfully flashes the file to the right place as described by @bponury (/data/data/me.paranoid.touchcontrol/files), please report back with your results. The file has the same permissions (rw- --- ---) and installs to the right place, so it is totally harmless to flash, it won't mess with anything outside of the TC data folder. Looking forward to any feedback, and I am happy to make some more packages for other kernels if people can provide the modules. The DirtyV version worked perfectly for me after the update to 4.4.3
* technically I did test the bponury version with FancyKernel and it didn't work, but my device is bad to test with because, ever since the update from version 1.x to version 2.x, I almost always need to reinstall the modules after any simple reboot.
Okay this is module for franco kernel
Anyone got the modules to work?
I tried flashing them and copy/pasting them to the files folder, but still the app doesn't detect the module and wants to load it online, which isn't possible anymore. Trying it with latest franco r398.
Had it working up until this morning. All of a sudden it hangs on loading the the module.

Likewise...today it stopped working...tried flashing the modified stock zip still no result...really disappointed for this outcome...it's my most useful application.
Does not work for me too. I use franco r398
Just look for the 2.2.1 TouchControl apk and it should work again. Currently i'm using the latest fancy kernel and i don't need to flash an additional files since it still automaticly downloads the modules when using the apk mentioned before.
"Make it COUNT"
This is the announcment thread for xposed for CM13 marshmallow .
I am tested it on my zf2 550kl. Its work fine .
Please install it only if you're willing to take the risk of boot loops. Just because it's working fine and stable for me doesn't mean it will work for everyone the same way.
