I recently flashed resurrection remix on my tab, but the battery keeps draining a considerable amount when in sleep.
I did some more research and it has lead me to the fact that the kernel will help with battery life. Could I have some help pointing me in the direction of the best kernel for battery life when using custom roms, particularly Resurrection Remix?

Hello i have flashed resurrection remix v5 (android 4.4.2) on my N7100 3 days ago.I have not senn any bugs exept one.
When the screen is on battery drains fast. When it is locked, it is a good battery saver. But when i use it it drains fast (%1 for a few minutes). My last rom was Cyanogenmod 10.2 and it was better than this one.So i can compare them.So is there a known bug on the rom?How can i track battery draining more detailed?Thank you.
Is it just me, or do others find the battery life in a stock-based kitkat rom much better than the lollipop roms? I've tried both on my VS985 and the battery with Eclipse G3 is just awesome. It's so much better than the LP roms I've tried like Illusion and crDroid, using basically the same apps/mail, etc. I mean the battery life is so different, there must be a reason because I've read of others who say the LP roms reduce the battery life.
What are some good custom roms for battery life ive used carbon which was decent currently using resurrection remix for my d851 and the battery life is okkk I think stock is a tad better... Just wanted to here some opinions on battery life and custom roms which one you users prefer...?
Hi guys,
I have a SM-T705 with 5.0.2 insralled
besides tweaking the settings etc. is there a specific firmware, rom etc. that improves battery life?
My tab is rooted as well.
Thanks in advance
using greenify will probably help you.
MM is better for battery life, based on my use and experience with my t705w, than LP 5.0.2 TW with greenify. Pick whatever AOSP/CM flavor you like, it's all pretty much the same for battery performance.
Hi all,
I'm trying to use this old G5 as a smart home remote, so most of the time it's just sitting idle with the screen off. On stock ROM it would last many days on standby, but with every third party ROM I've tried, the idle battery drain is massive and only lasts about 1 day standby.
Did anyone ever figure out what is causing this?
I've seen others report the same problem.
Anyone know a ROM that has GOOD idle standby time?
If you want good battery use an android 7 based rom eg lineage 14.1 (requires you to be on android 7 stock firmware)
Anything higher you will not beat stock rom for battery life
You can try my custom rom if you need an android 11 rom which is probably better than lineage 18.1 for battery but it won't match stock on battery life
