Hello i have flashed resurrection remix v5 (android 4.4.2) on my N7100 3 days ago.I have not senn any bugs exept one.
When the screen is on battery drains fast. When it is locked, it is a good battery saver. But when i use it it drains fast (%1 for a few minutes). My last rom was Cyanogenmod 10.2 and it was better than this one.So i can compare them.So is there a known bug on the rom?How can i track battery draining more detailed?Thank you.

I used stock ROM, then I rooted my phone and I've got resurrection remix ROM for lollipop.
Today, friend told me that he got back to stock on his G2 and that gives him the best battery life.
So i just flashed VikingWay v1.2 but I think it drains battery too fast. What should I do?
What is Best ROM for d855 to have the best battery life? Or any other mods/features/kernels
to better the battery?
You can try stock chupachups 4.2 or AndroidNow HD ROM from Poland forum just look on google for it. I'm using the second one and for me battery is great around 5 hours SOT.
I used stock kitkat and SOT was 4 hours,
then I used cloudy kitkat and it was round same,
then I tried cloudy lollipop 2.2 and its better ... like 5 hours screen time,
but I will try cyanogenmod someday ... camera will go down maybe ... lets c
Phone is beast and best ... hungry for battery all time.
i just exchanged my oneplus for a lg g3 i can see the battery isn't the same
but still the phone is overall way better.
just used to 6h+ screen on on a basic day with 2h of gaming
I recently flashed resurrection remix on my tab, but the battery keeps draining a considerable amount when in sleep.
I did some more research and it has lead me to the fact that the kernel will help with battery life. Could I have some help pointing me in the direction of the best kernel for battery life when using custom roms, particularly Resurrection Remix?
Recently got a M9. Wanted to know your experience about the most popular rom for the M9. Viper, Leedroid, ICE... How to you like them? What is battery life and performance?
I don't care about customization so as long as a rom is fast, stable, and hold good battery life, I would take it.
Let me know if you could jump in and share your thoughts.
Thanks
p.s. I actually went ahead and flash leedroid 10 v3.9.0 stable.
The room is fluent but I can't get notifications....
Do you have Leedroid tweaks installed?
I'm using ViperOneM9 now, seems stable and good battery.
I'm using ICE M9 5.5.9,and i have tested Viper rom. I prefered ICE with great battery life, smooth fast, and without problems. Ice great rom.
I used viperOne before, great rom with good battery life... I hated all the preloaded apps in the rom
I personally chose viper as the best stock based ROM but I found battery standby by time suffered to extent and i barely managed to get 8 hours out of the battery.
It also has far to many options and tweaks for my liking.
I ran a development stock ROM based on 4.x firmware for a few weeks, and it worked fine.
I'm currently running lineage OS 14.1 after a spell running lineage 15, but although 15 is very good, its not fully stable and has no working camera and does randomly reboot at times.
I'm getting a solid 14 hours stand by on the battery using lineage 14.1.
I just find that the best (for me) at this time.
The bad part of aosp roms is camera and sound.
For me stock nougat is the best.
Hi everyone, im currently on Cdroid, and i need to charge mid day(i have the phone for over 3 years)
There are so many roms i cant pick
Which custom rom has the best battery life right now?
P.s did anyone managed to get the google assistant to work? I tried nikgapps and flamegapss but both didnt work
I wish there was an answer to this. Crdroid sucks big time on battery. On stock rom I got 30-40 hours. Now I barely get 15-20.
For me it's lineage 18 , and 11 stable and enough battery life , tried crdroid but it drains so fast so lineage is best for now
Hi all,
I'm trying to use this old G5 as a smart home remote, so most of the time it's just sitting idle with the screen off. On stock ROM it would last many days on standby, but with every third party ROM I've tried, the idle battery drain is massive and only lasts about 1 day standby.
Did anyone ever figure out what is causing this?
I've seen others report the same problem.
Anyone know a ROM that has GOOD idle standby time?
If you want good battery use an android 7 based rom eg lineage 14.1 (requires you to be on android 7 stock firmware)
Anything higher you will not beat stock rom for battery life
You can try my custom rom if you need an android 11 rom which is probably better than lineage 18.1 for battery but it won't match stock on battery life
