Hello,
I recently got the lg k10 ms428 (Qualcomm 210). I got LTE to work and thought everything was fine. But it turns out that when the phone is on LTE or wifi, all received calls go right to vm, and I can't make calls. To fix this I have to set the phone into gsm mode which kicks the internet to edge.
The phone is not rooted, it is running android 6.0.1, and my provider is Orange Dominicana. Orange runs LTE on band 3.
Any thought on how this can be fixed, or what the issue is?

Hey guys! I recently bought a G3. It's a Korean Variant LG-F400L from U+. My problem with this phone is that when set to "Global" mode (GSM/WCDMA/LTE) it connects to LTE but says "Not in Service Area" whenever I try to make a call so I don't get the normal call and text services but when I set my network mode to (WCDMA Only) I get the call and text service but no LTE only 3G. So maybe Global mode prioritizes GSM? I don't know.
If I do LTE only mode, I can receive texts I believe but I can't make phone calls. I know it is not a problem with my network, as I have a Galaxy Note 3 and LTE + Calls work fine on my Note 3. Yet this G3 will only do one or the other. There is no option from WCDMA + LTE only.
IF anyone has any ideas, I would love to hear it. I'm also wondering if changing the rom would help this issue.
I should also mention that I am on another provider (SK Telecom) while my phone is a unlocked U+ phone!

Hi! I guess you're in Korea? Have you tried another sim card? Is this a new phone or did you purchase it second hand?
EDIT : It sounds like a network problem.. The phone hasn't been registered correctly.
Did you make sure you have the right APN settings?
So I actually changed my mobile provider to u+ because I was off contract and my phone was able to get VoLte and LTE. So maybe the issue was the phone defaulting to VoLte? I have no idea how to turn it off on this F400L model. I've tried most of the methods I think. Any ideas how to turn it off? Either way I guess it's a little bit solved now that I can call again.
I am having the same problem
Hello Metsuna
Can you tell me how you solved the problem, I am having the same problem and cant connect to internet. Can;t make or receive any calls.
Thanks
I recently got this phone and everything works fine except 3G or LTE, Edge works but can't get 3G working ... any solutions? Thanks friends.
help would be highly appreciated.. im I really stuck with edge?
Check what frequencies your network uses, and see if t999 supports them. If it doesn't, then you're stuck. Also make sure the correct apn for 3g or LTE is selected
Hi. Have a problem with my LG G3 D855. It won't work with 3g or 4g - only EDGE/GPRS (2g). I checked on another phone - 3g works perfectly fine there. My Lg has all network bands to work in WCDMA. :crying:
So when i, for example, choose WCDMA only mode, it just loses network connection and starts to look for one. If i choose GPRS/WCDMA or GPRS/WCDMA/LTE - it works only in EDGE (2g). Again, same sim-card - different phone - no problem with 3g.
I thought maybe there is a problem with modem rom. So i upgraded my LG G3 to marshmallow via LgFlashTool. No luck - same problem. I read couple threads, where people have the same problem - seems like no solution or idea, why is this happening, whatsoever. :crying:
Will appreciate any thoughts on the subject. Thanks.
Hello guys.
I have a problem. I got my LG G3 F410S model so im new using 4g conection.
The problem is when a call is received my phone switch to GSM mode automatically, then when the call is finished my phone doesn't turn up to LTE automatically, so I need to activate airplane mode and turn off so my LTE signal is back again.
How can I configure my phone to switch automatically LTE after calls?
My carrier hasn't 3G band working on my phone model so I only have GSM AND LTE
Thanks.
Hello, first of all I want to say that my native language is Spanish and I am using the Google translator to write this, so there may be writing errors and apologize.
Buy a motorola edge x30 and the imported import from China. The phone is unlocked to be used with GSM networks from anywhere in the world. When I bought it, I was with Metro PCS but in Metro I was told that the phone was not compatible with the 3G networks of them. After that I started to investigate and find a web page called kimovil and there I saw that the edge x30 was compatible in the USA with all the networks of 3 suppliers: Cricket, AT & T and T-Mobile: I choose to use change to metro by T-Mobile.
Immediately I left the T-Mobile store after making the change I have tried and could receive and send SMS, receive and make calls, and get access to the Internet without any problem. After a couple of hours of having activated services with T-Mobile, the phone could not or receive more calls (the Internet and SMS continue to work normally, the problem is only with calls). When I try to call someone, the call is not done and says "Hanging Up". I tried everything: Factory Reset, Networks Reset, modify network configuration, everything ... and I can not solve the problem. I went to T-Mobile to tell you about my problem and they tell me that the problem is not them but my phone.
If anyone knows how to solve this problem, I would greatly appreciate the help because I feel frustrated. Thanks
I have MOTO EDGE x30 with T-Mobile. Work perfectly. Check the SIM setting.

Good afternoon. I already managed to use the Edge X30 with the T-Mobile network. You just had to put the network selector on automatic so that you can use 5G, LTE, 3G and 2G as you see fit. The problem is that I realized that the phone only calls and receives calls in 3G and 2G, which limits not only the quality of the calls but also limits your coverage to be able to make calls since you can only make them in 3G and 2G . You who also use T-Mobile, does the same thing happen to you?
I'm not sure, but it supports 5G in N1/N3/N5/N7/N8/N20/N28/N38/N41/N78 and 4G in B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B12/B17/B34/B38/B39/B40/B41. or check volte settings.
you may try to install "carrier services" app by google from the play store. it solves some of my problem with data connection.

Yes I have the same issue. Whenever I make or receive voice calls, the phone falls back from LTE to 2G. I looked everywhere on the phone for 'VOLTE' settings but could not find it. Does VOLTE work for this phone on Tmobile? Very frustrating.
Has anyone been able to find the solution for the calls switching back to 2g? I love the phone but this is extremely annoying. I'm on T-mobile. Thank you
