Destroyed my Rk3188?? Installed Malaysk wrong resolution - MTCB Android Head Units Q&A

Hey Guys,
I just tried to install Malaysk Rom on my Rk3188 MTCC Device.
Unfortunately I've chosen The wrong resolution.
I Installed The 800x480 instead of the 1024x600 version.
The device boots, but I online See a Black screen, with a home button and a menu Button, thats all.
I tried to just install The correct version but that doesn't seem to help. In recovery Mode I get the following different screens (one screen is some info about the factory version)
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",

[Q] Non Standard LCD Density & Sense 3 Lock Screen

I've changed the LCD density on my phone recently, and everything seems OK except for the HTC Sense 3 lockscreen, which doesn't seem to have scaled properly.

I was wondering if anyone here knew of anything I can do to get it to scale properly
Any help would be appreciated!
I think you would need to use the tools available to re jig the screen size for the lockscreen (M100 or whatever it is called), I had this problem with the "Lense" style on CM7 when i changed to 180

I've been searching around for tools like that, but can't find any! Searching for M100 doesn't come up with anything
I think its an M10 tool that requires a decent set of programming knowledge (or at least it did when I last heard of it)

Are you using GB or JB ?
If GB:
maybe you got new display driver (s6d...) which is not turned on on GB kernels
Can you enter to downlaod mode without that flicekring ?
If JB
Which ROM are u using?
I am afraid that it is hardware problem :/

Strange bootloop issue after display switch

Hi,
story first, problem below: I crashed (a while ago) the display of my Nexus 4. I changed it with some cheap chinese crap (that was offered as original, but well, China ) ... and the Nexus was stuck in endless bootloop. First I thought I did flash it wrong or did a mistake changing the display. After hours of looking for clues I gave up. Recently I found some idiot-proof flashing tool (SkipSoft) and tried it again with the oldest factory image available: occam 4.2.2 (JDQ39).
The Nexus did not only boot, but boot up faster than my none damaged Nexus 4. Ok, the display was in comparison like scaled to 90 %, but no real problem. I was kinda happy and tried to flash CM or the latest (5.1.1.) factory image available. And again, there way my problem. I did flash every factory image, except 4.2.2, and same sh**. Flashed 4.2.2. (again) - no problem at all. I did the auto upgrade to 4.3 - endless bootloop again.
Did anybody had this problem before? I think it's a driver issue, since it works with 4.2.2. but no later images. But is it Androids fault (display driver switch between 4.2.2. to 4.3)?
Btw.: pic of the original and the "oliginal" display:

LG G3 problems installing TWRP

Device: LG G3 D8555
Android version: 5.0
I'm new to the rooting scene, but found magisk interesting so I wanted to try it out.
I had some issues rooting the phone, but finally got it working using "first method" of this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/general/guide-root-method-lg-devices-t3129197
I then set out to install TWRP. I used this guide by xdadevelepors: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZYwxBdPHxA
1. Installed the D8555 version of TWRP as seen in the image below, from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg...mp-unlock-lg-g3-twrp-d852-d852g-f400-t2900614 on to my phone

"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2. Installed flashify and selected the image recovery option. I chose the file from step 1.
3. Rebooted phone into recovery using quickboot, and was welcomed by a black screen and LEDs flashing red and blue. I tried going into the recovery manually by holding the power button and volume down button, then when logo appears releasing power button, and finally pressing the power button back in. This brought me the factory reset screen. I selected yes and confirmed , but this also brought me to the black screen with blue and red lights.
What am I doing wrong? Any help will be greatly appriciated.
