Hi,
I am having also some problems with my WIFI connection. My wifi connection is not on the list and phone is not connecting. All other connections(from neighbours) are ok. I have had this problem in the past and i managed to solve it with a change of the WIFI name and reboot, but now i get it again. Why is this happening ?

My router connection was on "auto channels" and i changed that on Channel 6(or any other channel you want) and solved the problem.

Hello,
I have some strange problem - whenever my HTC 1x is connected to my WiFi connection, after some time it kills internet connection for all connected devices. WiFi connection stays perfect but internet connection becomes lost until I disconnect my phone and reconnect all other devices. This happens on any internet connection, not only on my personal. Maybe someone has any ideas how can this be fixed?
Hi, I have a LG f180k that I bought in Korea. I study in here and want to connect my phone to the 802.1x EAP wifi of my institute. However, this phone doesn't have that option so I tried to mod it to the international version following this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2515156. Now I can set up that wifi and see some signal but my phone just connect and disconnect continuously even the signal is strong. How could I solve this problem?

Does anybody have a problem with the Wifi connection on LGs stock ROM? It keeps disconnecting me from my network an reconnecting every few minutes. Its really annoying as i cannot surf normally and im loosing my nerves. It cant be the networks problem as i dont experiance the same problems with my mobile phone.
Im using 11 bgn mixed mode on my TPLINK TL-WR941ND router. the connection is encrypted via WPA/WPA2 - Personal - AES.
Anybody else experiancing the same problems...or does someone have any possible solutions?
Thanks.

Something's wrong with your router configuration. This is not a problem that other people have reported. Check your wi-fi parameters, channel assignment, type of security. Look for interference. On the G Pad, remove the wi-fi connection and put it in again. Something is just not configured right.
Hello to all. For about two days I have Wi-Fi slowness problems on my 5X. I'm sure it's a phone problem because, by doing speedtest from my laptop and on Moto E , the speed is very stable and fast, as well as the browsing speed. Instead on my smartphone I can hardly navigate or use Facebook and other apps! Can anyone help me and tell me if it is a software or hardware issue? I reset the phone to 2 times and there's no problem under 4G connection.

Try again with bluetooth enabled and the option to use lollipop dhcp is enabled in developers settings.
Test on other networks and the speed can be normal. Router incompatibilities are common with various devices as there are millions of combinations.
You can try:
-In the phone's advanced WiFi settings try forcing it to 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz instead of auto
-Update router firmware
-Disable ipv4 on the router

Wtf, why with Bluetooth enabled it works better? It's a bug or hardware issue?

Its a known bug where it does not communicate properly with some AP's.
All the ap's I connect to are fine but I need to do it with the WIFI at work. It has something to do with the configuration and can sometimes be solved with a router reboot.
I have it setup to so Bluetooth enables when only connected to that AP and disables it when it disconnects.

Your router should always be on the latest firmware available.
Have you tried enabling Bluetooth to see if it helps?

Since I've purchased the note 10 +, I've had some wifi connection issues. The phone never stays connected, or will drop wifi frequently. Normally once a day. Now though, it is much more common, and it is for longer periods of time. I'll be casting something to my tv, and then the video will drop due to the phone trying to "reconnect" to the wifi. Has anyone else seen similar issues?
No issues here with WiFi. Do you have any other devices that exhibit this issue? What have you tried so far in terms of troubleshooting?
I've tried resetting the router, and doing a factory reset on the device. Also, I've tried it on another wifi network and it does it there as well. No other devices that I have on my wifi exhibit the same behaviour. I was hoping with a software update it would get better but it is getting worse.
Do you have a case on your phone?
Any settings made in advanced wifi settings?
Tried app like wifi analizer? Both to check the received wifi strength and also possible wifi congestion...
Are the problems only while casting to TV or also when streaming of Internet?
Did you try change in wifi settings in router, like extended lease time or assigning fixed ip-adresses to both TV and phone, change of wifi channel, switch between 2.4GHz and 5GHz?

The wifi network is fine. Both in signal and congestion. The phone is set to be on the 5 ghz. And I've never had any issues with it on any other device. I lose signal frequently. I only used the casting example to help people understand what's happening.
Now there is a problem with many routers. Even expensive models may not solve the problem with an Internet connection. I also had problems connecting to wi-fi. The phone was disconnected from the router once every few days. I called the guys who connected the Internet to me, but they said that everything was fine on their part. They sent me a master, he looked, but could not do anything except how to change my router. A few days later, I realized that the problem was not solved and started Googling the problem on the Internet. I came across a forum where they advised me to enter this ip 192.168.1.1 and after a couple of manipulations, I was able to fix my problem.

Are you just talking about the programming page of Netgear's routers? Netgear also has apps for that...

How did entering your router's default IP address fix your issue? What changes did you make to your router's configuration?
Just saying that you entered that IP address and making a couple of manipulations doesn't help the OP.
