Anyone know if Verizon phones can be upgraded to nougat with no major issues or is it better for us to stay on MM? I think I remember reading something about updating Verizon HTC 10 but can't find it anywhere now.

Sorry, I should have better explained myself. I am currently running Nougat Resurrection Remix but on MM firmware. I am just wanting to know if it is possible to get Verizon HTC 10s on Nougat firmware.

I'm not sure what you mean. I am using a Verizon HTC 10 on marshmallow firmware. I know Verizon has not officially released Nougat for the HTC 10 yet(at least I don't think they have) and I thought I remember reading somewhere about upgrading to Nougat firmware.

My point exactly. There's no Verizon nougat firmware yet. No other firmware is going to be better than what you are currently on (yet).

The only issue I have with it is the whole not being able to use the fingerprint scanner to wake the phone thing. Other than that, it's been great.

Ok, tried cleanslate with the same results. Which ROM are you using? I haven't tried a sense ROM on Nougat yet, only RR, so maybe I'll give that a try and see if it works.
Something really weird I just noticed though is if I rub my finger real fast across the fingerprint scanner 2 or 3 times, it will wake the phone. If I just touch it like normal, it will just vibrate and stay off.
I'm on Verizon on cpalmers Los 14 using tabp0les kernel.. I'm still on mm firmware and finger print DBL tap to sleep and tap to wake works with his kernel

No, I fully expect it to take a few weeks after the end of the month. Verizon is slow with everything.
Although this is typically true, they got 4.4.2 out pretty darn quick after the 4.3 update
update M7
I locked my bootloader and did RUU to make it stock 2.10.605. Thanks to Scotty for method.
Now a 617MB update is coming thru after I prompted in Setting for an update to software.

If this is correct, then we're ready for tomorrow:
HTC executive Mo Versi has revealed that the Verizon HTC One (M7)’s Sense 6 update has received technical approval and should begin rolling out tomorrow, May 28.
What's new stuff we are expecting in 4.4.3?

Now we just have to wait to see how long it takes for T-mobile to put it through testing. I can't wait to have SD card integration with the onboard memory!
Yep. I noticed this yesterday when I was seeing what is new about 20g. FWIW, 20g is just a Stagefright fix. It will sure be curious to see how long it takes LG / TMO to get Marshmallow out for our G3s. I bet its well into 2016!!!
Just can't wait!
Thia is going to be great! I hope it will work good on the Lg G3 but it will be great.
Great. Keep up the support T-mobile!

According to the OP's link: Out of 3 stages, the G3 is in stage 1 Manufacturer Development. If this is still true, don't expect a D851 stock Marshmallow upgrade any time soon.

I have been avoiding MM ROMs like the plague because they all seem to have massive issues with one or all of the above. Until the devs can take the modules and whatnot from the official D851 MM then it seems like it's going to be a problem.

Hello
I am currently with this rom and the only problem has been the bluetooth service, the rest all works perfectly. Best regards.
Note: My service provider is not t-mobile, is Movistar in Colombia.
It will tell you that everything except data works perfectly and that the data is buggy, it says data is buggy on all of the port though soo

If you guys look on their webpage and try to click on any of the Update links after clicking on device topic ( /docs/DOC-11935 ) the page is a 404 so i think they are about to Go into Tmobile Testing for the G3
The update page shows it Manufacture Development. On the bright side the G4 went from development to release without the testing stage.

The website on T-Mobile's side is lagging. There was a 1.81 update the other day in OTA form. I'm BL unlocked, S-Off, running US Unlocked 1.80 with LeeDroid, so I haven't bothered to check if T-Mobile's 1.81 is much, if at all, different from unlocked 1.80, for what it's worth.

What is rcs? Maybe I know of it by different name.
Also that T-Mobile update is better then us unlocked depending where u live and what bands are there. Band 12 for me on us unlocked was not consistent switched to much and would cause data issues unless changed to different network mode.

We all would prefer to do it ourselves.
The VZW M9 took a year for App support.
So keep that in mind.
Luckily they are even offering this service or we'd be SOL.

So if I get this verizon htc 10 and send it out too to them it says on their site they will s-off/unlock/root and flash twrp. Does the "unlock" mean they will unlock the boot loader? If so can I flash other roms besides the ones in just the verizon htc10 forum. There is only one stock deodexed/tweaked Rom so far, well as of last night when I looked and a custom stock kernel. I'm talking about roms like viper, or , vipre not sure of the correct spelling. Will they work on the verizon device?

*nevermind.
I just ran into something a bit strange.
I am on the tmo network, and with any custom stock rom I flash, whether it's my own or others, I get no network anymore.
However, if I KDZ to stock 20r I do.
Any ideas?
