No internal storage after factory reset - Galaxy Tab S Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'd been having a lot of problems with apps freezing and stopping on my T800 so I decided to do a factory reset yesterday. But since then I have no access to internal storage in either the My Files or ES File Manager, although internal storage is reported in Settings/General/Storage. My tab is on marshmallow, rooted with twrp.
Any suggestions for what I can do to sort this out?

Insufficient Storage Problems

So With my phone I flashed CM12 and its telling me that theres insufficient storage now, so I figured that I would go back to Carbon ROM but it keeps telling me the same thing even though I havent downloaded anything. I look at the internal storage and it says that out of the 4gb I now only have 450mb free, I tried erasing the internal storage but only goes to 480mb. I went through here and found the thread for making the storage bigger with an sdcard but now it wont even let me download the Link2SD app or move apps to the sd card with CM12 because it keeps telling me insufficient storage. Any help on what I can do? Can I flash everything back to stock and root it all over again? What files can I delete from the system to free more storage?

i have the same problem
I flashed stock and factory reset the device through settings instead of recovery, seems to do the trick. Lol. Still cant get the link2sd thing to work though. It keeps telling me that there is no partition for the sd card. :/

Problem: internal memory gets full real quick

Hello guys, I love my s4 mini lte, only thing I hate is its small internal memo. I tried moving some google apps to system, still, I don't have enough space to install or even update apps from the playstore, I also use my 64gb sd as internal and moved most apps which support external. Nonetheless, this is my main issue with my phone. How can I get more space on internal please!
I'm on cm 13 rooted.
Use a root cleaner app for cleaning your root memory. If you ever restored a nandroid backup, a copy of the backup is saved in the root,. By any root explorer app, search for backup or CWM or TWRP folder in the root of your device and clear out any large (over 900 mb) files. Clear your dalvik cache also
And check "lost and found" folder if the cleaning app doesn't find it, but it should, I once suddenly got 1.5Gig dumped there!

Cant access internal storage after fresh rom install

So I recently decided to upgrade from omni to CrDroid, so I wiped dalvik/data/system/cache AND internal storage. I then copied over the crdroid and gapps images, installed it. Now once I get into android, everything seems to work fine except that I cant read/write to anything in internal storage (cant install some apps from play store due to internal storage being unavailable), even though there are some files in there (crdroid/gapps images). I can access internal storage when the phone is connected to my PC via twrp though.
Any ideas?
Edit:
Formatted data in twrp (rather than just wipe) and that fixed it.

No access to internal storage

My internal storage shows no files and folders and I can't create or paste there too. Apps are getting installed on internal storage but their files are not there? If there's no sd card inserted and I try to take a photo it says 'no sd card' same with downloading files from chrome or any broser. When I try accesing the internal storage with fx file manager, it says 'access denied'. Today I wiped the whole phone and flashed stock rom.
Did you get the OS working again on your device? Since I saw your other thread here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/os-twrp-flashing-stock-rom-t3861740
If you have TWRP installed, you can go to the "Wipe" section and try the "Format data" button. Not the same as wiping data, this often fixes problems with accessing internal storage (storage corruption).

I did get the OS working. I did try formatting from TWRP but it didn't work. Since then I un-rooted and relocked the bootloader but as I saw your reply I decided to try again and as I unlocked the bootloader to install TWRP my storage was fixed. I've been trying to fix this for days I can't believe just unlocking the bootloader did it. Thanks anyways if I hadn't seen your reply I wouldn't have unlocked the bootloader.

Problem: Internal Storage is out of space

Hey guys,
My friend's phone keep saying it's internal storage is out of space.
We tried cache cleaning, junk cleaning, deleting all apps, deleting all visible/hidden files in internal storage and even full factory reset but still no success.
Also we tried some weird ways like *#9900#, removing battery, Cleaning samsung private storage (it's not even activated) and many mores.
Shes totally disappointed.
Any Idea?
