Any way to increase max brightness on Mi Max Hydrogen? - Xiaomi Mi Max Questions & Answers

Hey Guys,
I have not installed any custom Roms or kernels as of now. I use my Mi Max Hydrogen for consuming media when I travel to my workplace and back. I am an extensive Amazon Prime video consumer and the Mi Max fails to provide me decent viewing brightness outdoors. Is there a way or any ROM that can provide me with the capability to increase my phone's max brightness?

Axon 7 to mi max ?

I currently have a axon 7 ..I don't really like It and I get bad battery life..how do you guys like the mi max ? How's the cameras ,battery and screen ? Is there another phone same size or bigger that's better then the mi max ? Thanks
Bigger yes, the new Zen phone ultra. Has less battery life than the max
Max has exceptional battery life and good development as well.

MI max is good. Go for it
The battery life on the Mi Max is dope. Easily getting 7-8 hours of SOT. However, the camera is total crap, despite what people say here. You compare it to anything on the market out there, and it's just crap. Don't get the phone for the camera. Get it for everything else.

Energy saving kernel

Hi everybody!
Which kernel/ROM is the best as energy saveing for MI Max?
I'd stick at least to a rooted device for Kernel Adiutor.
There you can lower the minimum frequencies and raise the thresholds of the Governors.
I have chosen LineageOS with Nebula Kernel, because I can adjust some kind of Hotplug for the BIG Cores (set Min. Online to 0 instead of 2 and raise Thresholds again).
I get about 8 hours SoT of video streaming/internet use and some music (screen off), so I usually end up with half the battery and the end of a day.
You're on Hydrogen oder Helium?

Limiting the CPU speed to increase battery life

Just got my Mi Mix 2 from China in the mail. Flashed it with the official Miui 9.1 Global ROM last night. Love my new phone.
On my old HTC (One X) and Sony (Xperia Z3) phones, they both had this stamina mode where by the software limits the maximum operating frequency of the CPU. With it on, I get a slower CPU that burns less power. I find this to be perfect for me because I use my phone to check bitcoin prices many times each hour. Does our Mi Mix 2 has a similar feature?

Why would you care on a phone that easily gets 6+ hours SOT?

That is because sometimes 6+ hours of SOT isn't enough my man.
I set the screen brightness to low; turned off the NFC, GPS, and Bluetooth; set the phone to no vibration and no extra taping or keyboard sound. But I need more bro. That's why I though of reducing the CPU clock speed.
Is there a way to reduce the screen resolution? I maybe able to save some juice that way too.
It`s easier to buy a now phone.
The kernel and properly the battery are the problem. If you limit CPU (down clock) you will have a very very slow phone. I did it once with my s6 and the battery usage still worst and the OS become to slow.
I bought a MI MIX 2 and today I`m pretty satisfied.
For me I'm use Kernel Adiutor(Root) to down clock CPU and GPU speed 50%.So increase battery life more 1 hours. But in game FPS drop from 60 to 35 FPS but it no problem for me to play in low FPS.
