TWRP frozen at splash screen - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've decided one day to switch to another ROM having twrp 3.0.0 installed. Well rebooted into recovery and it just stayed at the splash screen. Flashed 3.2.0 and same thing. Manually wiped with /dev/zero and reflashed manually same result. Is there any way to fix this?

[Q] Recovery bugged after complete revert to stock

I've been running venom viperx roms for some months. Today I wanted to upgrade from a 3.3 version to 3.4 but to my dismay I found that my recovery no longer worked. If I select the recovery option from the bootloader, I get sent to a black screen where ADB works but nothing I do seems to impact what is seen on the screen. I tried some things like fastboot clear cache, reflashed CWM, tried TWRP but no dice. Then I relocked, reverted back to stock using a RUU, unlocked again and flash CWM again.. Only to still be greeted by nothing but a black screen when entering recovery. I'm not sure what to try next, but what I do know is that I currently seem stuck at a stock ROM and this will not stand
Any advice?
I didn't think it'd be related, but once I started to search for "black recovery after screen replacement" I found a this thread with a link to this recovery which got me back on track.

Device always booting into TWRP 2.6.30

I wanted to share my somewhat scary experience and how I resolved it.
It started when one day I wanted to flash an updated rom using TWRP so I rebooted into recovery and TWRP all of a sudden asked for a password.
To resolve the issue I had to ODIN an older version of TWRP, fix permissions and then reinstall 2.6.30.
This got me back into TWRP and I thought all was resolved.
I then proceeded proceeded to wipe everything and even format to ensure the device was clean. I flashed the rom w/o issue and it booted up fine. After I got it all running nicely I rebooted into TWRP to make a backup. The backup was successful.
I then rebooted to system (after backup completed) and the my phone froze on the loading screen. I pulled the battery and restarted the phone and it booted into recovery mode.
I thought maybe there was a permissions issue to I did a fix permissions and rebooted to system via TWRP. Phone still froze when booting. I pulled the battery again and again it powered up into recovery mode again. I decided to wipe everything again and install an older backup that was proven to be good (which I restored previously w/o issue). It restored and rebooted fine. Then I turned off the phone and turned it back on and the damn phone booted into recovery again @#[email protected]# Rebooting to system in TWRP causes the phone to freeze, Cold booting the device boots it into recovery. So I was essentially stuck once I installed anything if I ever had to reboot the phone.
The only solution that worked was to take the stock image (included stock recovery) and root.zip and flash that to the phone. After flashing it I had to go into the stock recovery as the phone still didn't boot properly. I didn't pay much attention but the stock recovery brought up a number of errors but I was able to chose an option (sorry I don't recall what) to fix them.
After it was fixed the phone booted up w/o issue and also rebooted w/o issue. All appeared to be back to normal.
So I went and flashed TWRP again through ODIN and restored my backup and all is back to normal.
As an FYI .. I grabbed the stock image from here :

Help with TWRP please

Hello,
I have a nexus 7 2013 and have just flashed twrp 3.0.2-0 recovery and have a problem.
I used adb to go to bootloader, and then unlocked it
flashed recovery image then used fastboot reboot.
tablet starts, shows teamwin startup page, goes to screen "Running openrecovery script"
then after a few seconds reboots and then the whole process repeats.
any ideas?
ok, so here is how i fixed it.
extracted recovery.img from the stock image (MOB30X) and reflashed it to the device, restarted and set up as new.
reflashed TWRP and it restarted ok.
have since flashed Nougat rom and gapps (so far so good).

Freeze at splash screen

I have rooted the phone and installed twrp and after changing build prop, phone get stuck at splash screen. I have tried to wipe dalvik, data, cache in twrp but it still gets stuck at splash screen. How can I do factory reset? I have tried lg bridge but it cant fix it. I can boot into twrp recovery and in download mode.
Reflash twrp
I have put cypherOS 6.0 and flashed it in twrp. I heard that you can use same twrp for every android.

What version are you using?
I used this tutorial for installing twrp https://forum.xda-developers.com/g4/general/howto-complete-guide-to-unlock-twrp-t3370003
It says it's latest twrp.

HTC One M9 with ViperOne 6.2.0 suddenly went into bootloop

Hi, I have been used HTC One M9 with custom rom ViperOneM9 6.2.0 and TWRP 3.2.3 for a long time without any problem. However, yesterday when I was using the phone suddenly stopped working and then went into a bootloop. I tried to boot into TWRP, wiped cache then restarted but it only worked for a short time then continued to bootloop. I then tried to boot into TWRP again to re-flash the custom rom, but it stucked on installer screen and then went into bootloop again. What should I do for now?
