Do not disturb - Wileyfox Swift

I have the following issue with my Swift. This morning I activated the 'do not disturb' option (for one hour). Now I can not access or disable the option. When I press the button in the menu it does not do anything.
My phone does makes noise (it does disturb me now), so how to get rid of the +symbol (so I can activate it again for the night)?

I know it's dumb but have you considered rebooting your phone? It might work! ^^'

Do not disturb>automatic rules>add rule and put "the end" time closest you can (if its 12:34 put it on 12:35) this helped me

[BLN][APP][WORKİNG LİKE A CHARM!!!] BLN feature for galaxy w

hi guys!
our kernels arent supporting this awesome feature
because of that ı decided to search for how can we use this awesome feature in our phone
you can download the apk file from here:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/4cmiu9q7g4hk900/IUw3GUcHWD
NOTE: our device galaxy w is hdpi device so download the right apk
You do NOT need a kernel with BLN support to use this app , already our device has no BLN kernels
Running the app:
install and open the app. You should be greeted by a popup showing you a list of files. Select the most appropriate (you're looking for something that has a path such as "/sys/devices/platform/bcm21553-leds/leds/button-backlight/brightness). Once you're done, click "enable buttonled in accessibility" and do so. Come back to buttonled and tap the "test buttonled" button. If your capacitive buttons flash, you're good to go. Otherwise, you will need to select a different brightness file (use auto locate or do it manually).
You may also want to customize the options.

Yes, you can just disable it but whats the point of installing if you will just disable it? Anyways, this one is good for those who doesn't use messaging often as it will use the battery often too and the good thing is, it doesn't use the lcd but the capacitive buttons. Thanks for sharing though mate :good:

From main thread post #9
BLN "redirects" LED notifications to the capacitive buttons, ButtonLED tries to detect all notifications.

As you can see in the video, supposedly, only the capacitive buttons should light up not the LCD. Just check the settings
I downloaded, hdpi_jb for cm 10.2. It doesn't work I guess. Im choosing "auto locate", and it brings me 2 different path under the /sys. I tried to click them but nothing happened. Then I activated for missing call and unread message. Besides, I pressed test button, and nothing happened again, I mean there is no blinking. I activated buttonled in main settings panel too. Lastly I tried to restart phone... Guess what? It didn't work again..
Is there any solution bro?

For some reason I can't find the option any where
Long press recent apps button! Google is a very handy tool btw.
Hi Philicibine. Long pressing recent apps doesn't actually do anything on the m9 with Android 7.
Does anyone else know how to do this?

Er... Yes it does!
Long press, and then select the second app you want to split.
It might do something on your phone, but it doesn't on mine. If I long press it absolutely nothing happens.
I have tried to find a setting in the phone that might enable it but can't find anything.

You're wrong and your screenshots are not from an m9.
There is no split screen on htc unless you activate it manually in build.prop and even then you have no real control over it.
Beamed in by telepathy.
Er... I hate to say it but.. it's an m9 on stock EU ROM with nothing tinkered with. No root whatsoever.

This used to be true but the Nougat update brought split screen to the M9.
when in recent apps menu click on the settings icon in the corner and change recent apps style to GRID FROM CARD and then you will be able to do it

Split screen work normally on stock nougat without any modifications...
Wysłane z mojego HTC One M9 przy użyciu Tapatalka
as far as i know the app had to support the split screen
Split screen works on my M9, and always has since 7.0.
Currently running 7.1.2 but can confirm it works on stock 7.0 as well.
I have stock 7.0 and it's working well, you need to have Layout to Card view, then open an app(youtube for example) and long press recents button.
Works fine in my m9, just set the recent apps layout to cards and you shoul be able to(you can anable the option to force apps that dont support split screen to do it in the developer settings).

power button question

Hello, I recently acquired a Pixel C and I am very happy with it but something is bugging me. The power button is kind of hard to push and there is no haptic feedback, i.e. click, like for the volume buttons. Could anyone be so kind and confirm how the power button feels on their device, to know if this is normal or if there's something wrong ? Big thanks in advance!!

It's not hard on my new Pixel C, feels just like my phone. There is no haptic feedback on the device which is a shame.

Thanks for your response! What I meant by haptic feedback was the subtle click you get when you press the volume buttons. My power button doesn't do that and sometimes I have to press twice do turn the pixel on or off, which is a bit annoying.

oops, double post !
Ok, understood.
So my power button feels exactly like the volume controls. As you say, a 'subtle' click.
Mine has the click for the power button, and isn't hard to push at all. Sounds like there's something up with yours.

Did you install recovery and root?
If so, which method did you use? There are several documented in this forum, most out-of-date.
I'm just about to use TWRP 3.1.1-1 (to keep data encryption) and Magisk 14.5 which apparently now works with Pixel C.

Combined with adAway and a modded youtube apk it's the perfect tablet for me, so glad they still had one left!

I remember you from my old z2 times. Now i have Samsung tab s3, but thinking about switching to mediapad m5 as development on my current tab is very little. happy to see you here. thanks for your effort
I installed your Resurrection Remix a couple of weeks ago. I am really enjoying it, and not running into many problems, aside from the aforementioned magnetic case not turning on and off the tablet. I do want to ask you though (and forgive me, I'm not super tech savvy in regards to this, so my questions might be a bit dumb), does the kernel you use allow for over and under clocking? I've tried setting this in "Kernel Adiutor" and the cpu speeds I set never stick.... however changing the governors does. And does your kernel allow for fast/quick charge?
Regardless, thanks a ton for bringing a bunch of ROMs to the M5, I really appreciate it!
*Edit*: I just wanted to add, that one problem I am running into is that sometimes my bluetooth crashes. Seems to be random, and only starts working again when I reboot the system.

Do these ROMs work on both LTE and Wi-Fi only variants of the tablet?
Likely a problem with ASOP, but WiFi only tablets have an annoying amount of phone like features that can be disabled (or detected and removed);
No SIM card icon
No SIM card message
Volume buttons control ringtone , should control media volume
I'm sure there are other annoyances

I also have an Wifi only Mediapad and long searched for a fix for this.
A few days ago I found an answer and added this line to my build.prop:
Code:
ro.radio.noril=yes
Especially the "No SIM card - No service" text in the notification tray bother me and after adding the line it was gone and also the Settings for mobile networks disappeared.
I could deactivated the Phone and Messenger App, I don't know if it was impossible before.
About the Volume buttons, I am not sure, cuz I use the App "Volume Pie" that's default controls media volume anywhere.
Hmm... Why exactly did they ban your work?

Thanks, that fixed the SIM card messages, just need a patch to get sensible tablet control of the volume buttons.
I would seriously avoid this, there is something very bad smelling about OpenKirin.
The developers want to remain anonymous, there is no source code for audit, and of you ask awkward questions along these lines on the telegram channel they suddenly get very abusive.
All signs that something is not entirely right and there is something to hide.. (included malware or data harvesting???).
Huawei is now a huge player, and therefore a prime candidate for mass day harvesting from anyone that flashes a closed source ROM like this.
Anyone knows how to root after installing LOS?
Usually I would use TWRP to get it, but the stock recovery does not support it.

@Signor Rossi it's actually the same procedure as from this this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m5/how-to/root-root-guide-huawei-mediapad-m5-t3786157.
What's the difference between the ROMs?
Well, check the ROMs own development pages. Openkirin simply build them for us, that's all. They are not "making" them.
