[Q] Galaxy Note 2 "Not Registered on Network"

Hi friends , I have a Galaxy Note 2 with android version 4.4.2, I bought it from Saudi Arabia and i m in Pakistan now, Since yesterday i am facing this Not registered on Network problem. and i have already tried almost all the methods. Kindly help me in this regard.

First a few questions...
Is your phone rooted?
If so did u flash any modems or bootloaders?
Was ur phone working fine in Saudi Arabia?
Try a few other sims from different network
Is it showing sim not detected?
If sim is detected, go to ur settings - about phone - device status and at the bottom ur imei no. If its null, u need to flash an apprpriate modem for your phone.

first of all Thank you for quick response.
yes i rooted my phone.
i have flashed a number of modems including
nd3_N7100_Patched_Modem_CWM
N7100_ND3_DrKetan_Custom_ROM_V8.1
CriskeloRom-NoteII-V22-MK4-4.3-MD5-92A0A664EC1BC1867AF69D577B63C1A1
GT-N7100_XXEMI6_Modem ..... etc and there are other also. but i don't know what is a bootloader...
My phone was working fine in Saudi Arabia. In fact i have been using this for last 8 months in Pakistan.
i have also tried other sims from different networks
And IMEI number is not null but is not correct as labeled on phone and packing... Hope to hear from you soon...

I had the same issue n didn't even had an efs backup my last solution to the problem was visiting samsung service centre n they said my motherboard needs to b replaced cz of imei getting corrupted

I had solved today by flashed nd3_N7100_Patched_Modem_CWM with Recovery Mode.. :victory:

Hi guys.. please read my story please and help me, I bought Note 2 N7100 from Iraq and travelled to Turkey then there I made record it to work on their network (TURKCELL) so when I came to america and bought SIM-Card the phone didn't work when I make call Show me the message is not registered in the network has experimented with dozens of patches and modems Roms and several things and even returned for the Rom older but unresolved where the Android version 4.4.2 , and how can I change the imei to original number.

Firstly, use search!!
Second, Creating multiple topic does NOT make people wnat to help you.
Thirdly, Changing IMIE is highly illegal in most countriesand not allowed to be discussed on XDA.

[Q] SM-T111 4.4.x?

Hello,
Although my account is fairly new, i used to be an active poster but apparently my account got deactivated.
Eitherway. I'm having some trouble with my SM-T111 tablet, when it's set to connect through 3G it will remain out of network, Emergency Calls Only being displayed.
The sim is fine, i put it in my phone and everything is ok. Also installed another provider's sim in the tablet and situation is the same - only if fthe tab is in 2G mode it will connect to the carrier.
I contacted Samsung online and had a brawl with someone there who said there has been a 4.4.2 update released for that tablet (which runs 4.2 at the moment).
I have not received any update OTA nor through KIES, the tablet is stock and has never been rooted.
My question for you is - IS there any way to get 4.4.2 on SM-T111? Hopefuly it will fix my 3G problem ( i assume it has sommething to do with the Modem version )

The SM-T110 and SM-T111 are on 4.2.2. 4.4 are not available right now. Hope someone build cyanogenmod 11 soon

its currently 4 2 2.
i beleive it wont b updated to4 4 4 in future officially,
may b u try custom rom 2 se prob solve 3g

may be it is too late but there is no problem connecting to 3G Network on this device provided your operator activates your account for 3G.

but none of the above worked so I flashed back with

Is there any way to somehow fix this problem?, I mean invalid IMEI problem and no 3G connectivity?
I've tried this:
AT+ EGMR=1,7,"xxxxxx"
where xxxxxx is my IMEI but I usually get failed to send command or something like that and even if message says that mSend successful I still have no valid IMEI.
