Although my account is fairly new, i used to be an active poster but apparently my account got deactivated.
Eitherway. I'm having some trouble with my SM-T111 tablet, when it's set to connect through 3G it will remain out of network, Emergency Calls Only being displayed.
The sim is fine, i put it in my phone and everything is ok. Also installed another provider's sim in the tablet and situation is the same - only if fthe tab is in 2G mode it will connect to the carrier.
I contacted Samsung online and had a brawl with someone there who said there has been a 4.4.2 update released for that tablet (which runs 4.2 at the moment).
I have not received any update OTA nor through KIES, the tablet is stock and has never been rooted.
My question for you is - IS there any way to get 4.4.2 on SM-T111? Hopefuly it will fix my 3G problem ( i assume it has sommething to do with the Modem version )

The SM-T110 and SM-T111 are on 4.2.2. 4.4 are not available right now. Hope someone build cyanogenmod 11 soon

its currently 4 2 2.
i beleive it wont b updated to4 4 4 in future officially,
may b u try custom rom 2 se prob solve 3g

may be it is too late but there is no problem connecting to 3G Network on this device provided your operator activates your account for 3G.

Hello all,
Its a personal clarification with you experts.
I had bought my WFS in INDIA ( which had Indian RUU 2.13.720.1 ) , Then I moved to France, and rooted my phone with European RUU., 2.13.401.3. as you know both have different radio versions.
And I opted for then's CM7 . and used for about 8 months - with no problem at all. now in Feb 2013, I returned to India and had some free time so explored all the other CM based ROMS.
And the problem started then..
Specially with CM 9 and +... I am having only data connectivity issues, rest all its flawless even GSM calls are very good..But Every 2-3 mins data gets "hanged", is it because I have wrong radio version ? Or is it in ROM?
Since I am traveler mobile-data is very important for me. and in ur latest rom I haven't seen anyone pointing to data problem.
So I am curious to know whether its only me who is facing this problem or is it generic. ?

XDA Developers Hi friends, I have a problem, if I have the solution here in the'll have no other side, I have a mini s4 LTE i9195, which was Chile, with android 4.3, making the decision to upgrade to 4.4.2 , specifically the German firmware, so went up and change my baseband and kernel, no problem until there actually works fine, but when using droidvpn or other vpn will not let me, does not even root permissions.
try changing firmwares and returning to I had, but nothing was still the same, in fact I worked before in 4.3 normal, but now nothing.
When installing cyanogendmod I returned to work, but there have always had, and with different equipment problems with vpn, every 15 minutes off.
I hope some help here, of course thank you very much.
I am not sure if I understood you correctly, but you seem to have a VPN Problem.
With Android there are some troubles with VPN and certain versions. For me, using OpenVPN was just solved in the latest 4.4.3 version.
You might want to search for routing with VPN. That was were the error was sitting.

And i have some bugs my phone somtimes loses network !
I also have SGH-i257M [note it is i not 1 or l]. I am in Canada, Rogers network. For me the network drops ended with the upgrade to KitKat 4.4.2 plus another update that came about a month ago. I did not keep track of the date for that latter update and i have seen nothing about it on any of the S4 mini forums. It updated the op sys plus more than 170 Apps. It is kind of mysterious, like i am the only user in the known universe who received it.
Can you use the Kies software to update directly from the Samsung website?

I am a developer in New Zealand with a USA AT&T Samsung Note 4 sent to me by Oculus in 2014.
Sorry for being a noob with this stuff!
The phone has been unlocked to work on the New Zealand Vodafone network - for this reason (from what I understand) the AT&T Android updates do not work "Your device is up to date!".
A 360 VR video plugin I need to use requires Android 5.1+ but my phone is 4.4.4.
Is there a simple guide somewhere that I can follow to update my AT&T Note 4?
I do not care if it wipes any AT&T stuff - or are the different provider's versions of this phone actually different hardware-wise?
I've tried searching but lacking some of the terminology needed to get it done. It all seems needlessly complex just to update the OS...
I contacted Oculus support who forwarded me to Samsung support who told me to try "Smart Switch" PC software, which said my phone was up to date. Contacted them again and they told me to take the phone to a Samsung service center in Albany 30 minutes drive away. I'll try this if I have to.

You need odin to EPH5 then use file by file to ADB sideload all the way to EQD1. Numbers are last 4 numbers of build
Hi. I have the AT&T LTE version of the tab s4, SM-T837A. I read that the android 10, One UI 2.1 update for my device went live a month ago, but I'm not receiving any updates. I'm on android 9, One UI 1.1. It says I'm up to date. Any ideas how I can get this update? Does anyone know a safe place I can download it from and do it manually? Sammobile doesn't seem to have it... At least, I can't find it.
If it matters, I don't have a SIM card currently installed on the tablet.

because your info is wrong. only the samsung stock versions got the update. all carriers are lagging behind as usual. still waiting for my Tmobile variant also. you can look on sammobile.com and browse the firmware database to confirm what i'm talking about. T837A didn't get the update yet. it;s still on 9

Not only wifi version & other variants, except USA carries (verizon,t-mobile etc)

No you can't, if the device is locked to the carrier...you have to wait update from your carrier ,if it gives the upgrade of course
Att issued the update a few weeks ago, and a smaller update hit my T837a today. It contains September security update and a new radio firmware. link to imgbb if the attachment doesn't work as I'm getting an NGINX error. I been here since 2007 never seen such before...

I have the AT&T version of the Tab S4 and it still shows I'm up to date, yet I'm still on the January 1, 2020 security patch does anyone know what to do?
I am in the same boat. AT&T Tab S4 will not update. Is there any way to manually flash? I don't see the update available to download
Complain to att. I pissed and moaned to online live chat support after the international version got it's update. Complained every couple of weeks until finally they asked for my imei, then a few weeks later I checked for updates and it did the 10 update.
