You´re right. it´s not to find in the comm manager. even if you implement it with a tool like AdvancedConfig the switch doesn´t work.
so you have to use the following: Phone Apllication - Menu - Options - Band
there you can toggle between GSM and Auto (3g if available)
Im using Miri Rom right now (superb btw), and i have those 3G on/off switch in com manager. Maybe only available thru TF3D? cause Im using it.

i think build.pro method not working on stock kitkat . earlier same was working on jellybean.
To enable network selection mode for lg kit kat e980 edit build prop using root explorer change the following line from ATT to OPEN root is required for this.

Dear Lalith

Pls type 5457#****# in keypad and goto bandwith selection select GS band with only and save
Note: *** is mobile model number like 980 or 240 or 220
For Rooted phone : Install app APM+ and activate it through Xposed. You will be able to get the option through Power menu button.

Hi guys
i'm using a lumia 930 with the actual wp10 build.
yesterday i had to learn, there is no way to use a static ip for my wlan.
ok, i could buy an app, witch would do it.
but i really dont get the point, why i should buy for such a standard function...
is there anyway to do this by my self?
of course
use my tweak in my signature
u need interop unlock phone
very easy

I tried the provided list but the reg editor doesn't seem to write the reg entry. I used root tool v2.0. What seems to be the problem? Before using root tool I updated my 1520 to the latest update I think that matters(does it matter?).

Root tool is your problem. It used to work fine previously but now it's quite useless. Don't know why. Try with another reg tool.

Do you know "Provisioning package" ?
Go to Seetings——Accounts——Access work or school——Add or remove a provisioning package——Add package.
I'll give you a “.ppkg” package, you can add it.

hi sorry for posting in old thread...
i've just updated my old lumia1020 to the latest w10m version 10.0.15254.369
i was hoping that in this version that the static ip option was enabled by default...
i was wrong...
need static ip option badly since my home and office wifi need to manually configure the ip/dns setting before i can use the network...
is there any way to configure static ip without interop unlock (or is it safe to use wp internal to unlock root with my current w10m build on nokia lumia 1020?? i update them using iutool method)

These settings aren't available in Windows 10 Mobile 1703+ due to new WiFi menu. But the old one isn't deleted, it's just hidden. You can use Interop Tools to run it and to change Static IP settings there.
Go to Interop Tools - General - Applications - Package List (swipe left from Deployment options). Find WiFi package there, tap on it and use Launch App button to open it. There you can find Static IP settings.
Of course, you must activate Static IP settings at first. You can use the tweak in Interop Tools for it or the provisioning package (you can find it, for example, here).

Hi,
Is there a way i can prevent automatic OS updates on win 10 mobile?
Thx
FYI, I asked because when I reset my HP Elite x3 and install my previous phone (lumia 1520) I have a release of w10m prior to the Creators Update. It is so much better; CU took away some features I liked, such as App Corner and Facebook connect. I was getting them on my HP until the CU takes them away.
Didn't try this method but, search for the update service usually called wuauserv and disable it. You can search the service in the registry HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services. Good luck!

HKLM -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> wuauserv
You'll see a value called Start, change it's value to 4.
Read the path carefully, is CurrentControlSet not CurrentControlSet001

Hello all together,
I wondered why VOLTE was not working here in Germany with Vodafone carrier. So I tried older solutions.
Here is what worked for me:
Install new Oneplus Logkit:
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/oneplus-ltd/onepluslogkit/onepluslogkit-1-0-release/
Android 9 version also works on Android 10.
Found the helping post at https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=79577939&postcount=23
Then do the following
Open the dialer: *#800# --> oneplus Logkit --> Function Switch --> enable VoLTE + VoWifi switch
found at https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/guide-volte-vowifi-german-carriers-t3817542
After reboot VOLTE was instantly on and working.
Aa always: Do at your own risk. I am not repsonsible for bricked HW, nuclear war and alien invasions :cyclops:
Cool, thank you for sharing. I use Vodafone here in Germany as well and was wondering why it didn't work.
I have the volte icon , how do I know if I'm using it ?

Make a call and try and use the internet at the same time. No data on call? No VoLTE.
Everything working good so far, provider Orange in Poland, thanks for sharing. [emoji1308]
Wysłane z mojego HD1903 przy użyciu Tapatalka
Still unable
I have tried the logkit app and successfully enabled but still while making call the icon drops to H or 3G. and also by dialing *#*#4636#*#*, still the icon for VoWIFI and VoLTE provisioned are shown enabled but grayed out.. Any solutions ? I am from Malaysia and my both 2 telco has enabled the service on my sim and already tested using huwaei p20 pro. only This OP 7T does not have the feature.

In order to get VoLTE and VoWiFi working with Orange in Belgium, I followed this guide :
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-5t/how-to/guide-volte-vowifi-german-carriers-t3817542
To access Engineering Mode I had to install it from apkmirror, then it's accessible by dialing *#801#.
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/onepl...-0-171117173719-25c8842-android-apk-download/
Serial causes fc, but full-port switch works and it's enough.
Thanks for this post. I recently upgraded from OP6 to OP7T and lost the VoLTE + Wifi calling on the OP7T - I am on Vodafone UK.
I did the stuff in the first post and after the reboot the VoLTE logo appeared and the additional options under SIM settings.
I have a poor Vodafone signal at work - so this really makes a difference for me,.
Thank you!
Silly question but do I need to / should I uninstall the apk after enabling VOLTE?
Thanks

China set but currently using global oxygen os. and also i have successfully enabled volte and vowifi and testing for 1 week. so far ok. i follow the video tutorial provided below.
www(#)youtube(#)com/watch?v=X11kw0z7U_E&t=427s
While using "India-vodafone commecial" profile and others, i faced one issue, "unable to receive calls from other number to my oneplus 7 volte enabled sim:crying:.. for example sim 1 i am using "UNIFI" and sim 2 i am using "DIGI". from both num i was able to make call but sometime unable to receive call. i suspect this was due to different country profile settings. To solve the issue, i have used "Telefonica-UK-Commercial" and now the issue is gone:good::good::laugh:.
the file link also provided below:
www98(#)zippyshare(#)com/v/cOKFso6s/file(#)html
One thing also i want to share, when we change the sim, we need to setup the profile again using PDC app. This thing is bit irritating.
sorry but due to i am new user for the forum, the forum does not allow me to post the external link on my post. so PLEASE replace " (#) " with " . " (dot) from the link and try to open the link.
I left it on the phone for future purpose. It is a system app which just was updated.

Did anyone notice battery life diffrence after doing this? I'm not talking about normal diffrences causign by the volte actualy working, but strange -1h battery life after only enabling the volte vowifi switches from the onepluslogkit
So mad because most of the profiles in PDC arent giving me VoLTE. Is rooting the phone would solve this issue?
