We are releasing this firmware a long time ago, but only now we decided to publish it here.

Hi, and thank's for this rom
I am familiar with rooting, custom recoveries and flashing custom roms on all the phones i have owned.
I quickly rooted and flashed TWRP on my mothers tablet earlier which has stock global rom , it was running so slow and so laggy, i would like to flash this rom but not sure if i need to do anything else.....
Can i just wipe and install this rom? or do i need to update bootloaders/modems?
It is currently running KitKat and MIUI 8.1.
Than's for any info.

U can flash only one system. Bdita really sucks)
For unknown reason, the device did not recognize my microSD card (Samsung 64GB class 10, exFAT format) when I flashed this rom. I've tried wiped everything and reflash the rom but it still doesn't work. When I tried flashing stock MIUI or BDita the device recognized the card again. (even CWM can see the card).

Miui Smoke don't support exFAT now. We will try to fix it soon. But Smoke has fully NTFS R/W support)

Introduction
Here is my port of JB AOSP 4.3 for our Xperia S. This is a work in progress, it's currently missing few of the patches I used in 4.2.X and few things are completely untested.
Installation and downloads
You need unlocked bootloader and a working recovery.
Download installation zip from here, mirror thanks to @androidlover007 (I know, uploaded.net is not the fastest of the earth, multipload mirrors coming soon. I'm not against posting any other mirror).
Copy it to internal storage
Wipe Data/Cache
Install gapps for 4.3. Currently, we don't have "official" gapps from CM team, I used PA ones with good success.
Reboot and let the rom settle down a bit
Important: Current release has a recovery with broken offline charging, you should flash a fixed one after installing the rom to avoid any trouble. Check this post.
Kernel source code is here (branch jb-4.2-experimental).
Note: this rom flashes its own kernel that comes with TWRP recovery and last version of Boot Manager. Just use volume up/down to navigate boot manager menu and power to select if you want to go to TWRP. Don't play with Boot Manager options if you don't know what you're doing.

FAQ
Can I flash any kernel with it ?
No. This rom is using Nexus 4 proprietaries and requires matching video drivers. You must use embedded kernel.
Something is not working, crashed, whatever, how can I help ?
Please provide logs! Description is not enough, I need at least logcat and ideally dmesg. If phone reboots, go to recovery, get the /proc/last_kmsg file and provide it to me.
Dev options are missing ?
No, they're just hidden, it's now the default behavior in 4.2.x. To enable it, go to settings / about and tap multiple times on build number, menu will be enabled and stick after reboot.

Anyhow, I'm downloading right now, will report back with observations.
Log:
- Booting seems fine, some glitches but nothing to worry about...
- Font is kinda different, I like it, very much. It is even more close to Helvetica and for me it is very nice typeface porn
- Touch vibration is kinda shorter, more direct but weaker.
- Developer tools are updated with very nice features, everything mentioned at Google I/O 2013.
- Animations are smoother. It's not that "new ROM" smoothness, transitions between screens appear like constant 60fps, without that lag that sometimes occurs regardless on hardware.
- There are some differences in first time configuration, nothing radical but still...
- Google Play Store wont open, close it and relaunch and then it will show TOS. It lags a bit.
- Is it me or DPI is kinda different? Everything seems to be bigger. Icons in drawer, Google play apps... SystemUI feels kinda same. EDIT: 320dpi.
- AOSP keyboard icon is different. RAM usage is same, no lower usage or anything special. Available RAM - 622 MB.
- Touch responsivness seems a bit better.
- Texdroider DPI (DPI changer) doesn't work. On 4.2.2 it would work with OpenSEMC, but it's not the case on 4.3.
SuperSU does not work (no su binaries), this ROM is unrooted. To root it again do the following:
Download SuperSU 1.51 from here
Move it to your root folder on your phone
Turn your phone off, boot it into recovery
flash that zip you copied to your root folder "SuperSU 1.51"
Reboot to system.
Voila!

This is google 4.3 code, with my 4.2.x device tree and proprietaries. I'll take a shot at merging 4.3 kernel drivers soon.

Both, using aosp but with cm 12 commits too, but have more options than cm like disable super user notification, change dpi and some things
Rom have some gestures of 5.1 for victara, all tested and working, include flashlight

Nice ROM but
I liked the ROM. I used it for some time but had couple of issues.
Not able to install any app from playstore. It just keep on saying downloading but never starts.
I tried clearing data for playStore, rebooting etc but did not help.
Also it shows itself as moto turbo and then not able to download any moto app as its shows incompatible with this phone.
Went back to stock. Will wait for the problems to resolve.
Moto apps it's only for Moto Roms, buddy.

Instructions:
BOOT TO THE RECOVERY/TWRP
WIPE DATA, SYSTEM AND THE CACHES
FLASH A AOSP OS/ROM/FIRMWARE/KERNEL
GO TO THE REBOOT MENU AND SELECT RECOVERY
FLASH THE PATCH BEFORE BOOTING INTO THE SYSTEM
REBOOT TO THE SYSTEM NOW. THE FIRST START MAY TAKE SOME TIME
And that's it. If You don't want to flash a new ROM, just choose the Clean or Full Wipe within the Patch.

Diamondl ROM is a light ROM which has enough features to satisfy your daily wants / needs but not enough to cause slowdowns or battery drains.

KG State/Jail has been completely eliminated from this ROM so you don't have to worry about flashing.
Knox is faked 0x0 for some Knox apps to work.
Magisk is force enabled and won't have any issues with losing root, not being there after installing ROM
Cleared some useless codings that caused performance issues.

USING ASD5 KERNEL!! ONLY SECURITY PATCH/REST OF BASE IS ASE6, BUT ALL ASE6 FEATURES ARE INCLUDED!

How to flash:
Install TWRP patched with Magisk
Format data (if this is first time flashing custom)
Flash my ROM
Remember to not press reboot system on first boot, but rather go to TWRP home and select reboot to recovery :good:
For already custom users:
Just flash my ROM and select clean flash in the aroma, and then press finish and make sure to reboot recovery and not reboot system on first boot :good:

hi s10 or s10+? you can find asd5 firmware in your stock asd5 rom zip if u need it, i am using this with full ASE5. firmware

Hi please reboot your phone. it should solve it, i experienced this on stock and it appears to be a Magisk issue. the new magisk 19.3 update which may be included in my next rom will fix this.

I'm having issues with some apps,samsung health, tmobile, and a bank app. Samsung health shutdown after I select the terms and press next. The other apps open then close up imidietly and crash.
Also device care doesn't seem to work no matter how I flash the rom.
Edit:Also having issues with Gmail...
So if my s10+ is on ase5 I should wait for the next update of this rom?

Hi there, thanks for this one, using it now, no issues so far. The max volume was a little low but fixed by changing the mixer_paths.xml at the gain-media-speaker. Some unnecessary apps were auto-installed (like a dictionary, the wellness app, etc, etc) but I easily removed using a root uninstaller from the play store.

It s the most functional ROM and I didn't find bugs. Very stable. Only secured folder doesn't work (I think because it's rooted)
Oreo starts to be a little old but it is still okay.
It depends on what users expect.
Compared to crdroid I can not really say. Crdroid had a good battery sustain but I did not used that ROM for a long time because of its call bugs.
Battery is good on that Oreo one.
I installed stock blast
If people need some more recent functionalities, there is Jynxos pure that is good also (without Samsung account)

I think bluetooth- and speaker calls don't work on JynxOS any more than they do on crDroid. Or do they?
If it didn't take so long time to set up the settings and the many apps, a family member uses it as a daily driver, I would have installed "Stock ROM Flashable" for sure. Maybe on vacation soon...

Speaker calls work, and Bluetooth calls doesn't work on jynx.
If you look for a 100% functionalities reliable ROM, use this stock blast, you can add gravity box to complete the features, (brightness status bar sliding, link notification and ringtone sound etc etc) safetynet is passing without tweaks
