I thought stock LG G Pro wall charger is 1.8A? Either way, all the latest phones with high capacity batteries use 2A charger for faster charging. Also, typically it should not draw more current than it's rated charging speed. The rule of thumb is to use a charger with a same rating as a stock one.

thank you very much for reponsw ... please also confirm 5v---2A charger is safe to use?

It's safe, but I don't know where you got your charger For example at home, I use only brand name 2A chargers from Samsung, Anker, and UE/Logitech for charging of all of my accessories from 500mA to 2A (they only draw as much as they need too even so all my charging sources can provide up to 2A of current). But if you guys $4 no-brand charger from eBay, doesn't matter what the label say - you can never guarantee safe operation at max current since those are cheap without a good over-current protection or component rating without a margin. I would also recommend asking other LG G Pro users in direct forum sub-section of XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/optimus-g-pro
Good luck!
I have Moto G Google play edition and I wanna buy charger for it .. I wanna know best charger for Moto G I can buy

That should work fine. Might charge a little slow but it will work. Look for a 1 amp charger if you are looking for speed.

Get a tablet charger. Max voltage moto g can support is 1.5. Which I couldn't find a exact charger. So I got a 2a charger. It reduces it to 1.5.
It charges very fast.

That's odd. Based on Motorola's saying and calculation your charger voltage must be limited to 1.5a and it must be charging your battery in less than 2 hour. Which I'm experiencing now.

Suggest me best usb?
Already i bought the charger and bought Flip and Flip Shell
Would you recommend this charger?
Hello,
I´m buying the Moto G and Moto E (one for me, one for GF), and we would like to buy this bundle for wall and car charger:
http://www.amazon.com/Bundle-Monster-Charger-Samsung-Products/dp/B00F045IN0
output says 5V=3.1A... is it too much?
Intensity (A) can never be too high. The phone will take what it needs
Voltage (V) on the contrary needs to be 5V. More than 5V can kill your phone.
But the Moto G wont load with more than 1,5 A (with a 3A charger you wont load faster as a 2A charger). I bought a Ravpower charger (4 Port, 2x 2,1 A, 2x 1A) and im really happy with it. It feels very nice and dont get hot/warm

My 2A charger is not aware of that
EDIT : oops sorry, misread your sentence.
Heres the charger which I got, but its a bad model (wents very hot). If your charger is the same send it back.

Concur!
If your charger is getting hot, it means the phone is trying to take more current than the charger is capable of delivering. I.e., your phone requires 1 amp and the charger is only capable of producing .5 amps (500 ma), then it will get hot.
You can have a 20 amp charger @ 5 volts and the phone will only take what it needs to charge. A tablet charger is usually 2 amps and that should work just fine. Any charger that will deliver 5 vdc @ 1 amp or higher will work. I would try and find an OEM to some manufacture such as Samsung, LG, Apple, even Motorola (any charger that they provide for their other phones) are better than third party. But don't forget that it is possible that the third party charger you purchase could very well be the manufacture for the OEM chargers.
I do not have my XT1045 yet but when I get it I will use my Samsung Tablet charger. I am using that charger to charge my iPhone 3GS.
So in summary, 5vdc @ 1 amp or greater should work.
I use my old standart HTC chager model: TC E250 (5V, 1A) which I got with HTC One V.
It works great with the MotoG. Charges in less than a couple of hours, doesn't overheat.
Just thought I should share this here.
Hello guys! I have a question:
I have a charger from LG which is 4.8v - 1.0 A. Can I charge my Moto G with him?

You can.
As far as I've read the g4 is 2.0 charging capable. I tried using my Samsung fast adaptive charger which from what I've scene is qualcom 2.0 and I get the charger not compatible error message and charging stops. This particular charger has been used on different 2.0 charging devices as I've scene in a charger comparitve test so why does it not work on my g4? There's no reason it shouldn't work. Output is 9.v=1.87A or 5.0v=2.0 A. Can't find any info on the web. Same charger works on my moto x 2014 which a 2.0 compatible. Even if the charger couldn't sustain the higher output it should still charge at the lower rate

If this charger is from the Note 4 then you won't be the only one who has issues with it charging the G4.

Is it Samsung specific chargers? Don't want to waste the money on a new charger and have the same problem especially since I have a draw full of non fast chargers.

I bought a supposedly-QC 2.0-compatible Samsung charger off eBay. My G4 refused to charge from it at all ("not compatible"). But it would charge my S3 alright. A coworker just bought an S6, it charged that just fine, and I believe the phone indicated it was quick-charging. I did not get the part # off the charger.
I was kind of surprised, as I'm pretty sure I'd seen people mention charging their G4 with Samsung fast chargers.

See that's what worries me don't want to waste money on a qc and get the same message. Its supposed to be 2.0 compatible there's no reason for it not to work. It should still charge at the lower amperage just as your s3 did

There's no reason for it not to work and some people report it not working on other 2.0 chargers either

Problem with stock adapter. I tried s6's adapter and it charges 1minutes to 1% but with stock 4-5minutes to 1%.
You can't compare stock S6 and G4 chargers, LG is only normal 1850mah while Samsung's a 2000 Quick Charge 2.0

Quickcharge 2.0 vs Quickcharge 1.0?
Have you tried another wall outlet?

Most probable charger is not providing sufficient input current to charge the device.
With the note 4 charger it is saying fast charger connected when I plug it into the g4

You told it yourself, Motorola Turbo Charger...it's not Quick Charge technology, it's different.
But i think its output is same as of quick charger (12v/2A)
Maybe they have the same output, but it does not recognize the qualcomm technology.
Try to put luminosity on automatic or minimum
