Problems loading 'Roms' page on XDA for HTC 10 - HTC 10 Questions & Answers

Hi
Is anyone having issues loading into the 'roms' page on the XDA HTC 10 pages. Just loads forever and nothing happens. Has been like this for weeks now.

Do you mean this link? http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-10/development
If so, no, haven't had any trouble.

Yep. And when you click on the Roms tab nothing happens. Just forever trying to load.

it just applies a filter on the current page. just look at the tag "[ROM]" if you search for roms.

Ah, I see. I totally didn't notice the row of tabs this time around. To answer your question, it fails to work for me in Chrome and in Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer as well. Just says "Loading...".

Yea same for me. Its definately just an issue on the HTC 10 pages. I've checked the ROM pages for other phones and they all behave normally

Problem with fast reply future

The recent weeks I have a problem with the fast reply when the quote box is checked. Every time I sent a message with this way after I push submit button
I take an empty white page and stuck there.
If i stop the loading process with the browser's x button and push back and then refresh the page, I see that the message is there, so its not I big trouble but its a bit annoying.
I made this thread cause I want to report the problem to admins to take care of this.
Hope that this is the right place.
I get this too.
Are you using FireFox?

Edit Wiki-Pages fails

I get always "Sorry! We could not process your edit due to a loss of session data. Please try again. If it still does not work, try logging out and logging back in." when i trie to edit i9001 Wiki Page.
Tried Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer with/without all addons. No way to edit the Wiki-Page (i9001).
How to solve this?
Thanks in advance
Yup, i get that too, in fact i tried editing only my user page.

Well, you can contact either svetius or TheManii (there's one more, can't remember who, daveshaw?)..through their talk pages or a PM here.
I think the talk page is to be used for wiki issues but either might work.
Also the wiki seems to be taking forever to load.
Thanks for the reports all... I've fixed an error with memcache, and it seems to have improved load time considerably and I am able to edit the wiki with no issues. Can you confirm it is also working for you all?

Forum requires waiting 20 seconds....

For the past few days, every time I hit the "Submit..." button, I get a message across the top telling me I have to wait 20 seconds before I can post again. It's almost as if my click is being interpreted as "submit, reload-this-same-page, submit again".
My browser is Chrome and is up-to-date as of this posting. I'm on OS X 10.9 at the moment. I can't recall if this occurs on our Win7 machine...
Anyone seeing this behavior ?

Yes , I can confirm the bug. You may also be facing a bug as mentioned here... it has been occuring for quite sometime now.. a few had also mentioned it to the moderators and admins in this thread. I think the moderators and admins are working on this issue to get it sorted. Only a matter of time before it gets fixed. Cheers. !
Glad I'm not the only one. I did browse this sub-forum for something similar in the topic (I did NOT search since the right terms to look for are tricky and I couldn't remember the exact message). I would have NEVER presumed the first thread you linked to was related.
It just did it to me again (it's not consistent, as I'm seeing) and here's the exact wording:
The following errors occurred with your submission:
This forum requires that you wait 20 seconds between posts. Please try again in 19 seconds.

Haha !! It did it now when I tried to submit this !
I have this aswell, it's been going on for quite some time now.
Its not a bug, I believe it's to stop spam.

That makes no sense... The post still shows up, it's just that the system stops the 2nd (duplicate) post. It's not consistent either.
Just curious, for those who have seen it, what browser are you using ?

Ah, ok. I thought you were trying to post in two different threads.
After I posted, I realized how it could be an anti-spam option. It would involve replying to multiple threads or starting new threads, yes.

Hi there, I'm using Google Chrome WITH AdBlock extension.
To clarify this, it happens when I'm just replying to one topic.

Any update on this issue? I always use Chrome and this problem happens more often then not when replying.
Terribly annoying.
Wouldn't be surprised if Adblock is the cause, it can do odd things on occasion.
i always get this when posting it seems - but only here. on the odd occasion i dont see that message but 99 times out of a 100 it seems i do
Yeap, I only see it here and I post at a number of vBulletin sites
I am still experiencing this issue on Chrome. Windows 8.1 with Adblock.
Yeap, still happening here. Some days it happens every time I post, other times I can go a few days without seeing it.
I'm not sure if the XDA folks really care though...

The admins (@bitpushr) can't reproduce it, but the more info you provide (browser, addons you're using, etc,) the better.

What exactly do you mean by 'getting it to work'? As far as I can see it's a website right? Doesn't it load properly (hangs, missing elements, etc.) or what kind of problem are you experiencing?

Hmm works perfectly fine on my Surface, see the attached screenshot. I had to wait for at least 10 seconds before anything at all showed up and nearly 30-60 seconds for all of it to load. How long have you tried waiting? Have you tried doing it using only the desktop IE? I used the IE App when making this screenshot.

I was doing it on the desktop. I tried the app and it worked, did not think there would be a difference. Thanks for your help.

You're welcome! I almost always use the IE app for browsing on my surface, even when working with my type cover instead of the touchscreen, because the App is running way better than the desktop browser. It may be a bit limited in control features, but most of the time that's not a problem.
