Hey guys i have a little Problem.
everytime i flash a Custom recovery it´s working good but when i restart my phone and go back into recovery my Custom recovery is deltet and i have the Stock recovery on it ??!
any Help ? Thanks
I think you need a modified boot.img or flash supersu (or custom ROM) for a custom recovery to stick.
Search the forum for how to.
Does your bootloader state locks after every reboot? Is there a notice about no rpmb?

More info please. What ROM you were before and what ROM did you flashed upon that one. What cwm, touch cwm? From now on install TWRP, it's better, safer and more stable.

Before JB had the factory, and installed the [ROM] Huawei KK_ P6_all in EN (BbN) _based on_repack SLMINSK, restarting the mobile I stay in the Huawei logo.
The recovery is this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2417919.
Next time will install the TWRP but now you do not.

It takes more than five minutes for the new ROM to boot. It taked longer ? And also you should follow tutorials in here about flashing ROM's and how/what recovery you should install at the right time during the upgrading process. Especially when you upgrade from JellyBean to KitKat.

Well, you must look for a tutorial on how to flash stock recovery and install stock ROM again.

did you wipe dalvik and cache ? if not try to do this in recovery, most bootloops are caused by this

CWM is not permanent recovery, put the UPDATE. APP in dload FOLDER on SD card and boot phone via 3 buttons.
Next time read thread carefully and use TWRP.

You flashed from CWM, that's why you have this problem. Download a ROM that can be flashed by dload method, and that ROM must be a stock ROM. Stock ROM's are not in a flashable zip's format, but they are in a form of an update.app file.
Create a folder in your sdcard and name it dload. In dload folder put the update.app file. After that press volume up + down + power button all at once until you see the HUAWEI logo, after that release those buttons.
For this to work you must have stock recovery.

Sorry for the delay. I installed twrp with twrp manager and flashify method and i did choose the right img file but it giving me the fastboot started evrery time
Hi guys.
My G4 v10c will NOT boot into twrp! I've used adb commands, quickboot app, flashify app etc, etc, but it will NOT play ball! TWRP seems to install ok, but after rebooting and trying to boot into recovery using quickboot, all I get is tiny, barely readable words at top left of my screen, tha last line, in red, saying "fastboot not started"!
I've used root explorer to find and rename the stock recovery file, but still no good! I know that some time ago I did manage to boot into TWRP, and I can see the file on my phone. Using the button dance, I have managed to boot into the stock recovery, but that's it! I've really run out of ideas! Please help, someone! Phone is rooted, stock rom, bootloader unlocked.

Thanks Ganjax, tried that, but still didn't work. After a lot more googling, I tried an older version of TWRP, v.2.8.7.0. to be precise, and VOILA....booted straight into it! Seems I was using a wrong version. Oh, well, lesson learned, eh?
Thanks for your help, though!:good:

It was because you are on Lollipop and later version of TWRP are based on MM sources which aren't compatible backwards with Lollipop
Sent from my LG G4 using XDA Labs
So it seems. I did search for my specific phone, and used what it gave me, but they must assume that everyone has updated to MM! Perhaps if theyd add extra info re. Android version, it would help. NM, no harm done.
Due to encrypted on internal storage by new version rom zui oreo, and still unable to decrypted by latest official TWRP 3.2.1-0, so now i release ported TWRP 3.2.1-0 the one from official to be unofficial version in order to decrypted and accessed internal storage in rom zui oreo from recovery side.

I wanted to go back to the my AICP nougat after seeing how horrible the battery life became in 3.5.243ST_Deodex. To my nightmare, I got the fix encryption msg on first boot. So, thinking its clearly with hendi's TWRP alone, I flashed the TWRP 3.2.1-0 from TWRP website but all my stuff disappeared (encrypted perhaps). Had to format everything. So those who want to ONLY use 3.5.243 deodex and not to jump roms afterwards, this recovery is good. It's included by default in the rom so it gets overwritten anyway if u are flashing 3.5.243_ST Deodexed. Just a warning for others so that they don't suffer as me.

As i mention before dearest brother, if you read first post, zui oreo by default will encrypted and not allow you to access internal storage from recovery for security reason, if you using or flashing with official TWRP,
not because zui oreo deodexed,
if you want switch back to custom rom first
keep stay in unofficial twrp don't hurry to flash official twrp because you internal storage in state encrypted by zui oreo,
next wipe data/art catche, cache, and system, then you can flash custom rom,
after rebooting you can change to any twrp as you like, so your data still intact
Happy flashing
Can it also be used for the ZUK Edge?

+1 that that just like a magic!Ahhh
Flashing AEX wouldnt encrypt ur device but some treble ROM indeed.
But u can flash the universal decrypting patches after flashing a data-encrypted ROM in a treble-supported TWRP instead.
Can you please update the link, can't download the file with MEGA link,
Here's my situation, I can't flash anything with TWRP cause it can't mount Data & internal storage,
I can use OTG though, But, I can boot into my phone normally, IF I connect a charger while it's at White ZUK logo, but if I unplug the charger and try to play PUBGM (or any power hungry tasks), it shuts down immediately, I'm on deodexed ZUI 4 BTW. I can use the phone as long as it's connected to the charger without any issues, Just can't figure out if it's a software issue, or is it with my battery.
Hi,
I've decided to awake my Pixel and give to my mom.
I haven't been using him for about 2 year. It's on Lineage 15. So I need to upgrade.
I've tried to flash with manual from Lineage website, but it fails with 47%.
I can't flash via recovery (all folders looks like "AJjnskdjfhwekj"), I can flash only via fastboot.
I've found, that my Pixel is OEM Locked and I can't switch it.
How can I solve and upgrade? It's almost 2 years since I've flashed Lineage and I'm not expert anymore.
Any help appreciate.
