Hey guys,
from time to time it feels like my conenctions are stuttering. With stuttering I mean like it has a time out for a few secs and I have to wait till it loads something.
e.g. When I send something in Whatsapp it sometimes takes a few secs till i get the first check.
The only modification I did was the one which changed the cpu settings to save battery and preserve heat.
May my device be faulty? I only noticed it after a few days and it happens a few times per day.

All, i'm having a huge problem. beginning last weekend, whenever I wake up I find my phone clock has become nearly 5 minutes slower.
Because of my sleep schedule on the weekdays, its always 5 minutes late by the time i wake up. strange thing is, within 10-15 min of my phone being "awake" I assume the auto clock sync corrects the wrong time and by the time i'm i'm driving to work the clock's time is right.
i tried turning off wifi one night i think a couple days ago to see if it was some type of strange wifi issue and i found that with wifi turned off, my phone was almost 20 minutes off on the time.
This has affected strangely my alarm clock as well and sometimes it doesn't even go off and i naturally wake up and check and it shows the screen where the alarm clock is running, asking me to "dismiss" or "snooze"
This is super cumbersome, is ANYONE else having this issue with the hox? my only conclusion is while i am sleeping and my phone is on standby for many hours something isn't quite doing its job. maybe something like the phone time being off, i don't know, like 30 seconds an hour or something. I'm still on 1.73.
during the day while my phone is turned on every 30 min to an hour, my clock is perfectly sync'ed.
please help.
turn off auto updating and manually set it - does it still happen?
it could be a conflict between phone time and network time, and the phone stops checking when asleep?

that's a good test to try. will do that tonight, turning off network sync and leaving it on manual. will report back tomorrow AM

Are you using a custom kernel? Some kernels can have time slew issues. Most people don't notice it. I use Clocksync from the market to keep synced.

i've only rooted it for titanium back up. kernel is factory. i am definitely going to look into clocksync as well after tonight's test. thank you.
i can confirm after i turned off network clock sync that it indeed was not the problem and that there is something inherent in the software that is slowing down my clock on my phone overnight. thing is i don't have any crazy apps. this is so strange.
anyways i have downloaded ClockSync and seeing if this will fix the problem. thanks
I have a little problem since i have had my One V, despite the Rom I have : every time I connect my phone to the wifi or the 3G, I have a time synchronization that automatically runs in order to have the most accurate one.
What is weird is that I always have a difference of approximately -63 seconds to correct. It's not a problem with the apps as I tried more than one from the android market. If, for example, I connect 2 times during the same day, I'll have a difference of roughly -63 seconds each time to correct which is really a lot. On my tablet I usually have, at maximum, 1 or 2 seconds per week.
Any idea ?
Am I really the only one with this problem ? I have mySENSE 3.5 and nothing special added.

I just disconnect while I am not at home in order to save my battery
The problem described in my first post also occurs with Wifi. Today I disconnected and reconnected either to 3G or Wifi 4 times and every time I had a difference of -65 or -63 seconds.
From past 2 weeks my HTC One m9 is experiencing some type of lag , like when I close the app from recent apps my device is lagging for 5 secs to load home screen , if I play videos in YouTube or gallery for every 20 secs my screen becomes black. If i install an app and if it takes more than 20 secs it Will forget ti install and i need to start all again ,
If I type some thing in whatsapp , the memory will load and I need to start typing all again from the start , I think the memory is loading too often and the device is running very slow
I'm loosing 10% of my battery for every 15mins and my system apps are draining 40% of my battery and device is warming

After charging phone to 100 it will only work for short time and then it will randomly shuts down (usually the moment u use it, like unlocking the screen or getting a call). And then it wont turn on until u start charging. Sometimes when u plug it back in battery is at ~90%, sometimes it goes back to 0. I was thinking it was battery's fault but almost every time this happens my phone does some kind of soft reset, sometimes my themes reset back to stock, sometimes my saved wifi dissapear, notification settings reset, etc. Phone has the screen replaced a year ago too if that could add to it.
You can try to revert it to stock, but most probably is a battery problem.
I've been using my phone for 3 years already and a half year ago I noticed that id didn't hold a charge when the battery went below 30 % . it randomly shut down below 30 % epsecially when I tried to take photos or use flash (that require high Amperage) . Sometimes it restarted itself after unexpected shut down and as I noticed dalvik cache was formatted/deleted. so I had to login to my google account set themes and etc. after I upgradet to 7.0 every unexpected shut down began to worry me becaouse even app data began to dissapear. So a week ago I ordered a new battery and now I am relieved . in my opinion it's 100% battery problem .
Definitely a dead battery. 3 years is a long time for these batteries. You did well to get that long from it!.

OK everybody I have to go to the video to show you exactly the frame drops that I'm having and the crazy b******* that I keep on dealing with with this phone and it's driving me absolutely insane as you can tell from the title I can't I can't stop the phone from you're getting frame drops during the day when decides to do it it doesn't matter if the phone gets a bit hot with the CPU loading or have loaded in the background 1015 apps it just does not matter it when the phone is cold when I haven't touched it in an hour yes I do not Ever have this problem with the frame drops the 2nd I started picking it up and using it for 510 minutes maybe 15 minutes this is one I have the problems with the frame drops and it's driving me insane I've tried everything all the performance cpu settings are on their high Level the battery is not in any way shape form restricted restricted in the settings it's actually unrestricted to have the best performance out of the usage of the phone and still I have this b******* frame dropping g****** insane crazy issue that I cannot stand anymore and I'm coming to you guys the XDA because All reddit keeps on saying is to go ahead and either turn the phone in and get a new unit which is both stupid and and to do a hard reset which I'm not doing because it literally takes hours 6 hours to set up my phone and I'm not doing that that's just stupid heart reset isn't going to fix the problem that I even had on my phone too when android 12 came out and I just downloaded the latest version Which just came out 3 days ago and again here we go again which is another android update and again I still keep on getting this frame dropping please guys please I'm asking you I just want this fold 3 with a snapdrag 888 to work exactly how it's supposed to which a silky smooth all around all day without having any issues handling simple communications Apps simple emails phone calls and just scrolling through my Gallery going through normal social media pages is just insane I'm not even playing any games on this and it's just the back of the phone does get pretty hot very fast sometimes it takes 510 minutes and it just starts getting warm and I've measured the the temperatures usually gets up to a 101 04 with pretty heavy usage and then I'll go back down to 80 and this is the battery temperature not the CPU the CPU also I tested it and it stays between 70 to 85 ﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟﾟF so please guys please I'm asking you I've been asking reddit for months and it's driving me insane I'm coming on here it's been a long time since my last post please let me know how to fix thisw to fix this

Ok checked the problem in safe mode it doesnt happen at all so the question how do I find the app reaponsible which really doesnt make any sense to me at all

if it was a PC, would be just looking at the task manager to see what's taking up all the processing power... but idk if there is such a thing on the phone.
I would assume your best bet is to reproduce issue then report to Samsung Members app > Get Help > Error Report. Clearly note that you checked with SafeMode and it's not happening in SafeMode, and share your issue reproduced video.
Wakelock detector can show you which apps keep your cpu busy. You need to give permissions via adb so it can monitor all process.
