Flash-and-forget Custom ROM for Tmobile s3? - T-Mobile, Samsung Galaxy SIII

just looking to flash a custom ROM with minimal bugs and maximum stability for a friend's phone. I browsed the dev thrrads but I only got more confused.
Right now on custom stock based 4.4 ROM

The most stable and bug free phone is going to be a stock rom.
If you want to remove bloatware, root and use titanium backup to freeze or remove apps.

( im a fulltime college student and cant be searching here for hours for a solution.)

Which custom SOTCK based rom for T-320

OK, Have rooted my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (T-320) and installed CM12. Found that camera is not saving photos so I would like to revert back to STOCK rom which has been modified. The Android Development thread is a bit unorganized due to being mixed with CM roms.
So, which ROM STOCK customized ROM would you suggest? I am currently downloading Average Joes ROM.
Thx
OK. Never mind. Installed stock ROM. Needed something that is not home made.

[Q] Rom suggestions

Hey folks I sort of tired of my bloated stock Note 2014 and I am about to root it in order to perform either a Stock rom cleanup or install a custom rom, so I appreciate some suggestions of what you consider a stable custom Rom.
I am normally ok with stock rooted roms and I like some of the Samsung apps but I have CM10/11 installed on a bunch of devices.
Thanks in advance!

[Q] Disable system write protection

Hello,
I have a HTC One m8 International model running stock Rom lollipop. Is there a way to disable system write protection? Every time an app tries to write something in system, the phone reboots. I know about wp_mod but it is for android 4.4.4 and I don't know if it can be used on the stock Rom. Is there any solution to this? I don't want to flash a custom Rom just because of this...
Thank you in advance!

You can flash custom kernel like ElementalX for example, no need to install custom ROM
Does the kernel affect my daily usage in any way? If I want to go full stock, can I find the original kernel here , on xda?
No idea as I don't use custom kernel only own modded stock kernel.
You can make a backup of your stock kernel before you install the custom one.
If you go full stock for OTA purpose, you don't need to revert to stock kernel.

If you look through the thread for the wp_mod, it says that the mod is version specific (so a 5.0 ROM will need the corresponding 5.0 mod, the 4.4.4 one won't work). It also says near the end of that thread, you can pull the boot.img from a corresponding custom ROM (similar base) and flash it to your phone to disable write protection (the kernels from custom ROMs have the mod applied).

Question Any Android 13 Debloated Stock ROM?

Is there a new rom development for debloated Stock ROM(Android 13)?
I'm looking for a stock custom rom that is debloated but Samsung Store is still intact + a working camera.
Hi,
if still interested you can doit by yourself...
You have to be on last A13 stock rom and then you can use this great tool : https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...mate-app-manager-debloat-tool-tweaks.4147837/
In this way, you can easily debloat the firmware by selecting which app / process you want to unsitall or simply disable.
Besides, all of them, can be react later if you want...
I have tried it and it was really helpful
