IS your device rooted? did you granted superuser permission to that app. if you did those you have to void your warranty to restore your device.. follow guides on xda to flash TWRP and wipe the system partition. if you are a noob in this thing message me and i will help you as best as i can. wiping the system partition only will brick your device. if you did a a wipe you have to flash a rom to boot into your device
thank you but

Sorry i forgot to tell you something download any rom(of using phone model) and flash it after wiping system

Never thought I'd be the one to create a thread like this..
After I flashed the OKV4 ROM, strange things started to happen (this was after a full wipe). Apps kept force closing, etc. Later that day, when I picked up my phone, I saw the samsung logo flashing over and over. Making me unable to enter recovery.
Download mode still worked though and I proceeded to flash a stock firmware via ODIN. This did not help. Oh, and the Odin flash succeeded, without rebooting my phone though...
So, I'm still stuck with my phone which can't seem to get out of this strange loop.
HELP :C
I remember reading somewhere here that if you have flashed a diff FW now and then a possibility the last recent kernel is still in the system folder etc....this is maybe the cause of the bootloop.
Since you had confirmed going to download mode is possible..this may work logically... Why not do the following :
Get your phone rooted via Recovery (there is a thread here by The-E)..Once done flash arco68's CWM Recovery....Boot to recovery n do this :
Factory Format....Wipe n Clear including Delvik...Then go to Mount n Storage wipe every single folder...System...Data...Etc (this will wipe every single data left behind but I assure you the CWM will not be wiped) once done reboot n put the device into DL mode and use Odin to flash back to the stock FW.
From this moment the recovery will be replaced by stock version and the stock FW will be restored....once it boot up..Walla as I had done this over two times :
Best of Luck !!

I think you misunderstood me :/
This isn't the ordinary bootloop where the boot animation plays. It resets literally 2 seconds after starting. This makes me unable to enter the recovery at all. Thanks for the effort tho.
Tl;dr:I can not enter recovery mode.

hi everyone,
i got my note n7100 on meteor in ireland. everything was great so i decided to root it like i did with my previous phone. i rooted and everything was grand. then i decided to install a custom rom (omega rom), installed grand. i used it for a while and then decided id like to go back to stock firmware and maybe root again. so i used triangle away to reset flash counter, done. then i used odin to try flash my stock rom but i got a message saying "incorrect parameters" if i recall correctly. so i thought it was the stock rom and tried another one i thought was correct and it flashed but hasnt seemed to work, i then flashed CWM and then wiped the cache and factory reset and such but it hasnt changed anything. i dont have a restore file unfortunately. so that is why i am trying to flash back to stock. the phone now will boot normal with a few jitters and frame rate. then if i try to use the keyboard to type it come up black and no letters so i am unable to type anything or text. but i can call. then when i leave it down for a while it just turns itself off and i have to turn it on again. im at a loss of what to do next. if i can get it back to normal i would love it and i wont be doin anymore rooting and such again ha. any help would be fantastic. thanks in advance.
very sad person a.t.m. :crying:
try doing stock recovery and clearing cache then reboot. if it still doesn't work, wipe data and do factory reset. should bring your N2 back to stock.
do all of these after backup, of course. good luck!
can you advise me on how to do a stock recovery please cheers.
Try to do a factory reset.

power down NOte 2, then boot up by just holding down power, home and volume up.. android robot should appear.
it should give you options and choose using volume keys and select using power.
try the 2 options mentioned above and it should solve your problem.

What stock rom are you using or where did you get it?
I got it from Sammobile.com it's the proper stock rom and as far as I can tel the phone has returned to stock but my csc is unknown and the overall phone is not working 100% when I try to use Odin wit the correct stock rom from Sammobile Odin says parameters are incorrect so I ended up just wiping the phone and cache and that's as much as in able to do so far. Used Odin v3.04 and v3.07 . In android recovery <3e> I have the android lying down with a red triangle out of his stomach, and #manual mode# applying multiple-csc... Applied the csc code : BTU Successfully applies mutli csc. Has this anything to do with why is not working properly?
Ok I flashed the revolution hd rom and its fixed the phone as far as I can tell. Only one problem persists is that when the screen goes off it takes two taps of the power button to come on, but at least the phone is usable. cheers for help so far and also with this problem.

Ok , this is the deal my fellow hardcore developers .... My Galaxy Nexus has a rare ( first time i see something like this in all my tinkering years ) condition where the memory of the phone is like in a locked state , you factory reset the phone .... enter the bootloader --> go into recovery and wipe cache , dalvik , data , etc ... all the wipes available and once the phone restarts everything is back there !
I tried the odin method (Nand Erase All) , odin fails when its writing the Image portion of the files ....
I tried cyanogen mod installer , cyanogenmod installer reboots the phone , goes into bootloader , unlocks bootloader , injects clockworkmod and then the software continues "installing" until the point the phone restarts .... guess what ? original software comes back !
theres no way to restore the phone ! and clean/erase everything on it , i tried the regular phone reset ... didnt work , phone goes thru the procedure but when it restarts everything is back ! if you uninstall an application once you restart the phone the app is back there ! the phone is not encrypted either , i sincerely dont know whats going on here and what i can do to factory reset this device ! open up to any suggestions and methods !
Yeah your internal memory is dead..

Not a rare problem at all honestly. Happens all the time with flash memory.
Two things to remember.
1. Not all NANDS are created equally. Some may last longer than others.
2. A galaxy nexus usually has more reads/writes than most phones.(flash more roms etc..)
Plus the majority of the gnexus are getting pretty old.

You just need to flash a rom or load backup.
Hi people,
Today I unlocked my Lenovo ZUK Z2 Plus and installed latest twrp recovery 3.3.1 successfully(no errors until now, butter smooth). After that I flashed "CARBON-CR-7.0-OPAL-RELEASE-z2_plus-20200122-0608" without installing GApps. This time the ROM booted successfully. I was able to use the phone and make calls.
Then I installed the GApps " open_gapps-arm64-9.0-stock-20200131.zip" downloaded from OpenGApps.org. This time around, when I booted after installing GApps, the phone showed the welcome screen, but got suddenly turned off. After that the phone just shows ZUK logo and keeps rebooting.
To fix this, I went to recovery again, wiped clean DATA & DALVIK CACHE & CACHE & SYSTEM & VENDOR partitions, hoping I would start from the beginning and again install only ROM and not GApps and hoping I would be able to use the phone.
Now this time around, even though I wiped every partition that TWRP shows, the phone just kept rebooting without starting Android OS. So I cleaned again everything using TWRP(cleaning DATA procedure) and then transferred ROM zip files to phone and again flashed only ROM. Still the phone kept rebooting.
Now I got pissed off. I flashed factory ROM using QFIL method. This time after the boot animation it went straight to "Shutting Down" dialogue and again the phone restarted.
CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT THE HELL IS EXACTLY WRONG WITH MY PHONE?
WHAT COULD HAVE GONE WRONG THAT EVEN AFTER CLEANING ALL THE PARTITIONS AND FLASHING USING THE FACTORY PROCEDURE, THE PHONE STILL KEEPS REBOOTING?
Is there any other partition that needs to be cleared(which the TWRP does not list)?
Can somebody just tell me how to get out of this?
(Please explain the steps and the reason for each, as I am a noob in this matter).
WAITING FOR ANYBODY'S PROMPT RESPONSE AS MY PHONE IS COMPLETELY UNUSABLE. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
what ZUI version you flashed with QFIL ?

I again flashed the Stock ZUI 2.5. ST ROM using QFIL. But before doing this I had moved the SIM Card to another fone, so this fone was without any connection. This time the fone booted up successfully. Then I reflashed the Carbon ROM mentioned before and flashed Flame GApps Basic edition as suggested by you. This time the fone booted up successfully. But as soon as I connected the fone to internet, it downloaded something from Google Play Services in the background and again it started the same problem.
SO BASICALLY WHEN IT DOWNLOADS SOMETHING FROM GOOGLE IN BACKGROUND, IT STARTS THE REBOOTING NONSENSE.
I searched the internet for this and some articles on the internet suggested that "Google Dialer" component is causing reboot. Those articles suggested that if the "Google Dialer" is not set as the default dialer, it reboots. BUT HOW TO SET IT AS DEFAULT, WHEN IT STARTS REBOOTING IMMEDIATELY AND IT DOES NOT GIVE ENOUGH TIME?
EVEN THE EARLIER GApps 9.0 stock package that I flashed had warned to set the "Google Dialer" as default, but upon boot up it kept rebooting.
Even initially I started this UNLOCKING AND CUSTOM ROM FLASHING exercise after the factory ROM started rebooting after updating "Google play services".
So this seems to me an issue from Google.
Has Google done this on purpose to make people switch older phones to new ones?(Because I own a total of 3 android devices and only this device is rebooting not the other ones).
Looking forward to your reply.
Greetings Buddy..how's life going??
Ok once again I hv read ur op regarding ur problems. Let's start from the beginning. Boot up to twrp and format the data first before wiping everything. Try flashing lineageOS 16 using official gapps. (Flash gapps along with the flashing ROM, same time. Because flashing gapps after ROM's 1st reboot may result synchronise error or sometime bootloop). If successful, then flash ur carbon ROM and see whether it boots up to normal or still gives such error.
BTW sorry for my late replies. Till then peace out

I am now not able to boot any ROM. Just keeps rebooting after the ZUK splashscreen. Hence, I again reflashed the Recovery properly, using the procedure as before. Now I am not able to boot into the recivery, too.
