Camera not work on CM 14.1 - Nexus 5X Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have running cm13.0 and i install over cm13.0 cm14.1 with the pico gapps 7.1.
After install everything worked great except the camera.
Is the problem known and is there a solution?

Had the same error.
You need to update the vendor partition from the newest stock rom
Download it from here: developers.google.com/android/images
extract it
And use fastboot du update, boot into fastbbot mode and use: "fastboot flash vendor vendor.img"
Hope that helps

Oneplus 3 software is damage !!

Hello,
my device is already rooted. I switch to CM 13.1 without any problem.
I made an update to CM14.1 manulay however there was an error in some apps especially Gapps
I tried to format MY device and know my device isnt boot to the andriod !!
and when i choose recovery mode it go to black screen !!!
the only thing i can go to is the fastboot !!
please help me
Flash the modified Recoverey from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=15934#downloads
Then Flash CM 14.1 oder CM13 again.
Maybe there were some issues with gapps cause you flashed the wrong version. When using CM14.1 you have to flash gapps especially made for Nougat (in this case 7.1)

For those trying [LOS]Resurrection Remix N[OMS][7.1.1_r25][12 MAR]

@hisee and @Eliminater
Gentlemen,
I am really looking forward to trying out this rom.
I noticed @hisee had this issue so i am trying to bring it to your attention to @Eliminater . It seems i dont have permission to post on the rom itself . Perhaps an XDA admin can help me with this?
Anyways he was having this issue:
""
1) Take a nandroid backup
3) Full wipe (system,data,cache)
5) Install Recovery.
6) Reboot OP3 in recovery
7) Install Firmware & Modem
8) Install last Rom by Eliminater
9) Install last ARM64 7.1 nano Open GApps
10) Reboot OP3 in system
but after reboot it always going to recovery
even poweroff also rebotting and opening recovery only""
I was also getting the same issue.
I solved this issue by downloading the latest toolkit here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/development/toolkit-oneplus-3-toolkit-unlock-t3398799
Then i ran it and flashed stock recovery, boot into fastboot mode, then flash the latest twrp with the toolkit. I then also pushed the disable DM verify zip from the toolkit. After a few reboots it let me into recovery "TWRP Recovery 3.0.4-1 by @jcadduono" .
Finally i was able to
1)Flash firmware/modem
2)Flash latests RR rom zip
3)Flash the opengapps pico
4) Reboot into system and start playing with the rom
Hope this helps anyone who ran into the same issue @hisee and I had.
Perhaps it has something to do with the 3.0.4-0 twrp that is listed on the main page @Eliminater ?

TWRP changed in Android Stock recovery

hello Community, I have unlocked the bootloader on my Xperia, TWRP with fastboot and then the ZIP flashed, AOSP with gapps and magisk. No problems... After some time I wanted to boot into TWRP. but was not there because the Android Recovery was suddenly there, so... new TWRP about fastboot, again AOSP, gapps and magisk flashed! And although there was no error message, but gapps and magisk were not installed, so fullwipe, fastboot, this time CR Rom, micro gapps and magisk flashed, again... only the Rom was installed, so I want to boot in TWRP no way, Android recovery is back!
What am I doing wrong and how can I change it please!
Many Thanks
Tim
Because A / B slot twrp doesn't stay

Flashing LOS MicroG 17/18 ROM sends to bootloader on boot

I have a google Pixel 2 XL bootloader unlocked via unlock and unlock_critical that I want to use LOS 17.1 with MicroG built in on. It successfully flashes but boots to the bootloader when I boot. I've tried both ROMs I've compiled and the official MicroG builds, same issue. Same issue with 17.x or 18.x versions.
I can successfully flash LOS 18.x official and run it via instructions in that thread (below), which is the same way I am trying to flash LOS w. MicroG.
Anyone know the solution to this ?
Flashing as per below, normally using TWRP 3.3.0.0 also tried latest 3.5.2_9-0. One thing instructions don't mention is whether to swipe to allow changes when you first enter TWRP, I've tried it both with and without that, same results.
Wipe userdata (fastboot format userdata)
Fastboot into TWRP recovery (fastboot boot twrp.img)
Flash the latest build of Lineage OS
Reboot to bootloader and fastboot TWRP again
Reboot to system and don't install the TWRP app
in case it helps others, this was due to the lack of vendor proprietary libs that I thought i was including but wasn't. So apparently that builds flashes but sends you straight to bootloader.

Help with Lineage OS 18.1 on Nokia 6.1 [Solved]

I unlocked my bootloader yesterday and tried to install Lineage OS 18.1 custom rom. I was able to install it but I wanted gapps so I rebooted to my recovery. I am confused between the A/B partition system. I accidentally flashed TWRP on A and Lineage Recovery on B. I restored both of them to the original one. How do I install Lineage OS with Gaaps? Should I flash the Lineage OS zip on A (so that it is installed on B), change the slots and flash Gapps?
"fastboot boot <image_name>" just gets stuck on the androidone logo which is why iused "fastboot flash <image_name>.
install lineage os 18.1 and reboot to lineage os recovery from there flash gapps .dont do anything on twrp except flashing lineage os 18.1

Thanks. I figured it eventually. I installed OS on my b-slot and gapps + magisk on my a-slot.
