Hello guys!
I have a question for you. Now with the new firmware based on JB rolling out, will people with Locked Bootloader be able to flash custom roms that are based on, for instance, leaked version of JB ? Thanks !

You'll be able to flash stock based roms based on stock sony jb. But the leak is technically older so not much point in that one

Maybe it wasn't a good example. But again, will I be able to flash MIUI v5, wich os based in 4.1.2 ?
There's lots of ROMs that are based on 4.1.2, and all of these require a XS with unlocked bootloader, since there was no official JB for Xperia S. But now that we have official JB, is still a requirement to have an unlocked bootloader?
Sorry my english :/

Only the roms based on the 200 JB firmware will work. CM/AOKP/AOSP etc based roms use different kernels still so you'd still need to be unlocked to flash them

I want to know best performance ROM before i flash my Xperia
Pliss comment my thread and im sorry for bad english
CM obviously its the latest with much improvements but only if you are ready to sacrifice sony bravia engine and xreality cause it only works on locked bootloader... And if you try the latest nightlies of the latest cm you may have to face some bugs time to time... I recommend you to try

new user here help needed !

M not getting nougat update !? It's is showing system UpTo date! M on mm stock 2.0.0.1111 st. I heard that stock nought has many bugs !? Should I unlock bootloader and flash any good nougat rom on marshmallow stock rom !? Or any other suggestions u guys want to give me !
Same situation here..... installing stock ROM is a hassle and it's also not good. Better unlock the bootloader and flash any custom ROM which will be far better option. No problem in that.
Thanks man I will flash rom over stock mm ... Can't believe I got snapdragon 820 for 11 k ... M so happy
