]Correct your topic of your thread by stating as "Unable to flash H818P kdz.!
Not bootloop! It's not bootloop. If your serial number is new like 600 and above there's less bootloop.
Mine is refurbished SN 603 and working great since April 2016 , it had bootlooped while mine was SN 506 before sending for repair in April itself.
Battery life sucks because of wakelocks. If root available try BetterBatteryStats to check waklocks what's draining battery.

I'm on the same boat! Bought mine directly from TIM, here in Brazil...
I've read somewhere that the P letter refers to some kind of package bundle, like mine which came with the wireless charger... Just don't know it really is this way for sure...
Well, mine did come with the wireless charger as well.
Hope someone know the answer... My firmware version is 10a, from what I heard there are many improvements already on the newer ones.

That is an interesting question, and depending on the answer I will buy this phone. I think the fw is the same, since these model share the "D855" model.
Another question is: what is the worst scenario to try the flash? Maybe the phone will be in a bootloop, but flashing the right fw after will probably fix that
Maybe... But I'm afraid to brick it hahaha. Would like someone confirming it.
I'm with the same problem.
I think it's compatible, but I'm afraid of bricking it.

From this it looks like it's the same.. so it should work and not brick.
About the G3 TweakBox I can't say, mine is not rooted, so I can't try it.

ART?
I find another problem in my D855P.
I can´t change it from dalvik to ART... Can anyone do it?
Well I haven't tried, but I heard ART is having issues with LG G3... randomly turning off for example, what should be a incompatibility with LG code.

Totally agree, but some applications are having issues with that, Just like the others I need to know if it is safe to flash the d855 firmware in our d855p phones, my phone is from TElcel carrier in Mexico, I hope someone give us some light.
I managed to change from delvik to ART. my G3 is d855p from vivo.
Just really want to know about flashing...
I tried the Towelroot method and TWRP for D855 with success on my D855P v10a from Telcel (Mexico).
Mine ART is working well.

I tried to flash SphinX G3 Neo V2.0 with TWRP method but the one described in the post should work as well.
Now I have my first custom rom.
Hope this info can help you... I'm not responsable for any damage you could do to your phone. Always backup everything (system, boot, efs, recovery) before trying this.
You must choose D855 and not another model.
---
btw mine one is SIM-unlocked from carrrier Telcel, I tried to put a Tuenti simcard and it works XD
I have rooted using PurpleDrake-lite, worked smoothly.
Installed Xposed Frameworks and G3 TweakBox, all working.
One interesting think I checked was when I installed G3 TweakBox, I installed it from PlayStore on my computer, and the phone is listed as BCP LGE-D855... so I guess it's safe to flash the stock firmwares from D855, as "badtzo" said he did on his one from Mexico.
Later I will try to flash the European, Unbranded 10E version to mine, will report results.
As said before, reporting results.
Tried to flash Europe-NoBrand 16gb 10E version from this topic (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2799647), using method described there (LGFlashTool), not succeeded, it won't flash as it accuses to be different model phone.
"badtzo" flashed using TWRP, and said he succeeded with a custom room, so I have a question for him before trying something else...

Can you check if your phone model is showing as D855 on about now? If it does, we might have a way there, flash SphinX G3 Neo V2.0 and later do what I couldn't succeed for stock updated version.

No, mine info on phone still remain saying it is D855P, but stock one and moded build.prop says is D855, also Pc Suite says is D855 but it download D855P10A_00.kdz (telcel one). I tried that specific rom because it can be flashed through recovery, I don't recommend to flash any firmware via KDZ until we can be 100% sure about compatibility otherwise you can mess the bootloader and brick your phone. By now just flash roms that doesn't modify anything with boot.
I won't try, as I don't have much experience with LG's.
Guess we will have to wait a little more, new custom rooms and some more information.
By the way how did you install TWRP? I had a quick look for it and looks like there is no official LG G3 version yet.

In general section is a post about tethered TWRP for D855 "only". Don't try to flash it, I did it and my phone was acting weird, just do the specified steps on the post, to boot not flash from it and you will be safe and don't forget to backup your recovery first.

D855P uses the same KDZ as the D855, and is listed with on the same list of updated as the normal D855. This is confirmed. (If you already know, it is to help others as well)

Make sure to do a full flash (cse flash) also try the global v10j. It was my favorite and added the most features. It also had the best batter life since v10f.

Installed J version!! 4:45 use, just whatsapp and facebook,1:40 screen = 60% .... This same use on S5 I would still have at least 80% .... Like this I will never reach 5hs of screen as I see people saying on forums...
Beside I didn't installed any other app yet... Probably if I install other apps that sync with internet, this battery usage will be much higher...
No doubt S5 have a much better battery life....
And why does Android OS keep always on? Without using my phone, neither Wi-Fi or gps, it keeps on like not going to deep sleep

Dude have bit of patience. it take a fez cicles to settle.

Hello can you give the source link of that confirmed info? Because here on Q&A section nobody have report to full flashed the KDZ of 855... I just made a system dump from v10j and then flashed it through recovery. Also boot is the same but we thought flashing KDZ could have some issue with modem or partitions size.
Now I read this and think is very cool to know some people already tried to flash kdz for 855 with success but it would be great to add the source link to the tread on Q&A section with the correct step to step... because another user tried to flash an European kdz but it didn't let him because of different model.
To restore default ROM:
1-) Download and install LGMobile Support Tool.
2-) Start it and wait it for self-update.
3-) Connect the phone using USB Cable, wait until LGMobile Support Tool recognizes the phone.
4-) Click on top menu Additional Resources (Recursos Adicionais) ==> Upgrade Recovery.
5-) Wait for it check your phone model, download the correct ROM and install it. (DATA WILL BE WIPED).

That user badtzo is saying is me, really wasn't able when I tried.
Would really be glad that this was clarified.
I have a brazilian D855p and I'm flashing D855 kdz from day one.
I dont think the software needs time to settle. That's because one time I saw Francisco Franco (nexus recognized developer) telling that's bs, as the software is only a bunch of zeros and ones and no need for that. But anyway, my battery is great so far, getting 4h SOT when on 4g and almost 6h on wifi. Try to install a custom rom like cloudy or AndroidNow HD and give it a try...

No,just follow this tutorial. I personaly prefer kdz.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2420219
how do i verify from which country is my phone ?
and the last question : if i follow the instruction ,is there any chance to brick the phone ? i mean just open the lg flash tool ,put the phone in download mode ,choose the kdz file and then press cse ( for full flash and wipe ) and after i press start and wait till completed ,that should be all , right?

LG G3 D855 Service disabled

Hello All :crying:,
After upgrading to MM my LG G3 "D855" got converted to "D855V" and mobile network seems "Service Disabled"
#I have checked all the threads regarding my problem in your Website/Forums very minutely but still i'm unable to fix my problem
@let me describe clearly
-Firstly i flashed with MM [D85530B_00_1217.kdz] with LGUP, after flashing this rom the problem started.
-Then i downloaded the LP [D85521A_00.kdz] from(lg-phone-firmware.com) after providing my IMEI number and flash with LGMobile Support Tool2014 in CSE Flash, but my problem still exists
-Till now i have already flashed 5 .kdz roms
e.g D85510A_00.kdz, D85510I_00.kdz, D85510M_00.kdz
-I have also tried "Upgrade Recovery" through "LG Mobile Support Tool" it works but staying in LP mode and not getting downgraded to KK
-I have also downloaded 2 .tot files, which are
BIN_LGD855AT-00-V10b-TWN-XX-JUN-19-2014-32G-0.zip
BIN_LGD855AT-00-V10e-EUR-XX-JUL-08-2014-32G-0.zip
-Tried to flash these rom through "LGFlash Tool" but always a error msg came (Device Model is different! Check phone or DLL! 00000000)
-I have tried my best to resolve this problem
I am fully fedup
-Now i am in LP rom
#There is also a error msg always comes e.g
Current version is not available for user. Can't find matched cust for NT-code mcc/mnc[310410],subset[FF]
#I have also tried to install "modem.zip" through TWRP recovery, flashing in KK (D85510I_00.kdz) but didn't works
Thats all
Please consider my problem and give me some suggestions
Please......
Thank you in advance

Brother this a very critical issue which is happening in most of refurbished LG devices
U have to take some major/risky actions,
I will not responsible for any further damage...
Here are My Experiments:
MNC(Mobile Network Code) was damage in my device
Try to solve your issue with the help of "Octopus Box"
Only Octopus Box can read the exact issue of your device
If uper step doesn't works:
Open your back cover of the motherboard and try to find out the exact model number
Then download your firmware
My IMIE number is of D855 but Mother Board is of D850
Then i flash with D85010d.kdz

Hi,
That is interesting solution. Did you flash a D850 firmware for your D855 Phone or maybe did you replace the motherboard?
I Finally Fixed It.
Hi again
Finally and after a week of searching I figured a way to fix imei null and service disabled.
just download and flash the modem file.

2 big core disabler tot file

Hey guys, ive succesfully went back from MM to Lolli, by using LGUP. From then I could flash a TOT file which disabled all but one core. Now my device can work, but with really ****ty performance. Please anybody can give me or make me a TOT file for H815 with the 4 little cores active I just couldnt find a way how to edit my current TOT file.
I'd be soo happy, thanks forward for your help. :highfive:
From now I can root and put back TWRP if you know a better solution for that way. All I want is completly disable big core and to stay off even after restarting the phone.
ps.: ive used search a couple of times, but i wasnt able to find a file. :crying:

H815
One more thing, I could manage to revive the motherboard, by soldering back the chip (professional made it, not me). So now its stable, not warming at all but the software drains a lot battery at standby mode. Around 60% overnight
I think its because the phone uses that single core 0/24 at 100% percent.
Can anyone help me by suggesting how to enable just the 4 little cores without the 2 big (I'm looking for a clean original, maybe debloated and non rooted solution)?
If its not possible, then how can I make it with root to disable the 2 big from booting them when i turn the device on?
Thanks forward for any suggestion! :fingers-crossed:
If you have H815, then why don't u unlock your bootloader and flash 4 cores kernel? It'll solve your problem

Titan kernel for LG Nougat but you'll need to upgrade to Nougat firmware first(flash one in TWRP, update TWRP, flash Titan 4 cores and you're good to go )
