On the screen is a black circle above the home button.
I flashed stock Oxygen OS 324 to show you the problem, this is present on all stock roms till beta8.Here,on beta 8 i have no problems.
On cm 13 based roms everything is thine, and this circle doesnt appear.
On cm 14 roms the problem persists.
I spoke with people from customer service and they suggested a hard reset or that this shoul be from a third party application installed on my device.I tried all wipes, all factory resets, even i flashed new roms.
This problem start when i begin to customize the new installed rom, when i try to select the language ,it appear inclusive when i want to select the keyboard, after the language.
My model is A3003.
I would suggest you to perform a FULL wipe including ... EVERYTHING by flashing the OxygenOS 3.2.8 Full ROM for OnePlus 3 followed by format data from recovery
It looks like a toast notification (the color and shape).
If it is present on a completely fresh ROM, then logic dictates that it is because of something external to the ROM.
While it is not likely, try removing your SIM cards. That is the only thing I can think of that might throw a toast on the welcome screen of a completely new ROM.

Hi! I have an issue. I wanted to give my tablet a boost, and I decided to do the autoroot method. The first time, everything was fine. However, when I tried flashing a custom rom and then going back to the stock rom, the issues began. Since this is my first post, I can't post any pictures, so if you want them, send me a message and I'll send them to you via email. The list of random appearing symptoms include:
White status bar
Random colored (depending lf the last app used) recent apps buttons
White patch over wifi and battery icons
White flash on the top left of the screen when there are notifications
Please help me! I 've tried:
Wipe
Stock firmware reinstall
Recovery wipe and reinstall
Change kernel
Etc...
Thanks for your time and support.

Hello world, is anyone out there?
Update: flashed autoprime's stock rom and have same issue, anyone else out there having this?
Having the same problem, only mine does not give a password screen, I only get a "Encryption unsuccessful" error....
Fixed!
- clear everything from phone
- flash over another rom (in my case Cloudy G3)
- Encrypt phone with that rom
- Decrypt phone with that rom
- Install desired rom
There's another thread on this topic elsewhere. Bottom line is you have to unroot and restore stock rom from factory image, then root and proceed to flash rom of your choice. I had this problem and fixed it this way.
Hi everyone,
Looking for a solution to my stock, unrooted M8. Carrier - EE.
Android 6.0/Sense 7.0. Software 6.12.61.4
Have had the phone nearly two years so undertook a factory reset to clear it out. Initiated factory reset through settings in the normal UI.
Factory reset completed. Got the welcome screen etc. However, no nav bar, no status bar (with clock, battery at top), and no notification pull-down. Black screen (no default wallpaper), but all standard apps present.
Attempted factory reset again from bootloader. This time, as soon as it booted to the home screen, I got the error com.android.systemui has stopped unexpectedly. Regardless of whether I pressed "send" or "don't send" error report to HTC, the error message disappears and it begins to flash between a black screen and the default sense 7.0 wallpaper - but no sign of apps, icons, etc. The power button is responsive and displays the power off/restart options.
Reset a third time from stock recovery menu. Same result. Have also tried clearing cache, etc.
Weirdly, it optimises what I take to be a number of default apps each time during the factory reset - don't know if that's normal or not.
I'm assuming that my copy of the OS in the recovery partition has got buggered up somehow. But I'm new to this whole flashing/rooting business and most of the guides I've found seem to presuppose that I'm trying to get back to stock from having rooted my phone and installed something else, and I don't really understand them.
So -
1. any ideas about what's happened/how to fix it? I've spoken with HTC but they want me to send it in. 2-3 weeks!
2. assuming that I just need to reinstall a clean version of the software, how do I go about doing that? How do I know what the right version is, and where do I get it? Can I reinstall it without rooting the phone and installing a custom bootloader?
I did have a hunt through previous threads. The closest I found was this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one-m8/help/ui-htc-one-m8-t3024485 but it still leaves me uncertain about how to find the right software and actually install it.
Thanks very much in advance.
Michael
Okay, solved - somehow.
Formatted and removed SD card, just in case. Factory reset again, no joy.
Then also removed sim card, and factory reset again from stock recovery. This time performed cache wipe immediately before factory reset - whereas before I'd wiped cache, restarted, confirmed error still present, then factory reset as a second step.
Systemui and nav/status/pull-down bars all present as normal this time.
I find it hard to believe that the presence of the sim card could have made a difference, so I assume that the cache wipe and then immediate restart did the job.
Anyway, resolved now. Happy days.
New to the world of Custom ROMs. A week ago I installed CM 13 which took great courage on my part and wanted to share my experience, issues and discuss possible solutions.
My phone had the latest lollipop on it. And McCafee locked. The steps that worked for me where
1) Did a factory reset and bumped into mccafee.
2) Tried download mode but kill switch was enabled.
3) Rebooted the phone to face mccafee, tried 123465 pin which worked.
4) Disengaged McCafee but not before transferring ownership to my email.
5) Tried rooting didnt work with any method.
6) Rolled back to d software version stock lollipop.
7) Rooted with PurpleDrake
8) Replaced with CM recovery didnt work.
9) Replaced with TWRP and rebooted directly to recovery
10) Installed CM and gapps mini. Worked fine. Voila!
Issues:
1) No Custom recovery sticks, whenever I flash with a custom recovery like TWRP or Clockwork. I have to reboot into recovery immediately or the custom recovery is replaced by stock. It happens on every second reboot.
My concern is here if I get stuck into bootloop and dont have a custom recovery I might not have any other option than the stock ROM which does a full reset. How can make TWRP stick forever?
2) After installation of Custom ROM there have been random reboots, I suspect there is something here with phone app or voice. So far the reboots have been when I try to call using fb messenger, appear.in and phone app itself.
Is there a guide that tells me how to track this down?
Can I install a newer Nightly and hope this get fixed?
How can I retain my apps and data when installing a newer nightly? since all guides ask to wipe everything :S
I have a backup of system and data partitions, can I use that with other ROMs.
What ROMs have a better chance of fixing this issue?
Coudnt find Stock M for D850. Why arent those available?
Should an Official ROM be more reliable than CM for this?
3) Bad signal reception so far. It may be a generic g3 issue.
Can I hope that this issue be fixed with a different ROM or updates from Cynogen?
Someone said you may have to flash the radio partition. My question is where can I get a brief understanding of what partitions there are in android and which are risky. Which ones can be replaced, backedup and replaced back.
4) Whenever the phone reboots, it gets stuck into bootloop unless I remove the SIM card. Then I power off and install SIM Card and reboot and it boots fine.
I am already tracking CM changelog for something important. Cant post urls as of now :S
Hi, I am a noob in flashing ROMs and stuff...
I recently got a Galaxy S9(used) by a family member. It had One UI 2.5, android 10 on it but I missed a couple of Android 11 features that I had on my Galaxy A50
So I decided to get Lineage OS 18.1. I flashed it successfully. When I launched Samsung Wearable app, it said that I had modified the software in "Unauthorized way". So I searched and found that Noble ROM is based on One UI 3.1 so I tried to flash it. I got stuck in a bootloop at first but then flashed again and after some time it booted up in setup screen like select language, etc. then at the data transfer part, the phone screen went black except the status bar, then it lighted up the set up screen went black again, it kept on happening. I rebooted it, tried safemode and also tried factory reset in TWRP. Then the issue still occurs from time to time.
I am ready to go back to stock ROM or should I try flashing newer Noble ROM or something else, please suggest.
Please help me!
I used Odin3_v3.14.4 , twrp-3.5.0_9-1-starlte.img.tar and NOBLEROM1.1_N9_S9_S9P with CAMERAFIX_G960
I didn't install kernel fix as I followed this video .
