I have a Verizon Pixel XL and I have rooted it and installed TWRP. I have also unlocked the boot loader.
My question is how do I update with the OTA updates. I see there are multiple OTA listed on the site. I'm currently on NDE63X.

Yeah. I thought it would still line up with the system images/OTA from Google no matter where you were.

Does anyone know how far we are getting root & unlocked bootloader in all models of LG G4? I heard about a month ago, we are close as someone is/are working very hard for it.

All I can tell you is don't take the updates!
There's a link at the end of that post to a post from Autoprime that has a bit of information.
September I heard.

I already updated. But doesn't factory reset delete the updates?

No. It won't reverse the firmaware version. It will only wipe all user data. The problem with updating is that it may or may not render the root exploit that devs are working on as incompatible or useless. Also new update might enhance the security in the firmaware with chances to make it even harder to root. The opposite could happen as well.

Do you have the Hong Kong version? I think you'll be fine. The US Carriers are the one making things harder by providing a Kdz firmware with a modified version # 01. So, users can't be 100% stock if they try to reverse. Your's can be reverted anytime. Your phones Kdz file ends "00" ours ends with "01" but wait and see if the root method works or not when released.

Woot! Have they mentioned anything about the firmware versions (other than what Autoprime posted) preventing root?
All i can see is that none of the big boys are been active in the forum so thats a plus and great news. Just because they are so busy working on solutions and i cant wait so i can actually bring few roms to this baby..

Yes. I am having the hongkong version. U relieved me. This waiting is killing me. I had never waited for this long since my Desire S. Without root & unlocked bootloader, it feels like I am not enjoying such a enjoyable phone.

So I turned off automatic updates after I unlocked my Verizon Pixel XL bootloader. Couldn't remember if I had the option before the unlock. Is this what I think it is? Or does it just apply to the new seamless update thingy? I want to keep the bootloader unlocked for future use.

Just applies to seamless update. Just keep that off and you'll be good.

u know how to decrypt sir ?
Why bother? No performance benefit anymore by doing this.
You need to unlock your bootloader, flash a kernel that has decryption enabled (-encryptable or something like that), and wipe your userdata partition.
Yeah, total waste of time

In some languages, the open "so ?" is used to indicate "okay, what do I do instead?" rather than an "whatever".
Just sayin.
It cracked me up regardless

Just a note, I think anyone should also be able to pull the file from the full factory image manually.

That's the only person that I know of that is working on it for the Pixel 3 XL. You could always build it yourself.
