Hello everybody, at first it started to be buggy, but after some time died completely. Have tried with brand new LCD set, same problem.
Obviously it is software problem, i'm running on Android 6.0, sofware number 3.21.401.1, kernel 3.4.0.
Works fine with USB OTG mouse.

Hi everyone, i myself have a BlueAngel, but my dad has a Universal (M5000) and has been having a few problems with the bluetooth.
Basically, at first we thought the bluetooth was randomly turning off so i tired the latest orange rom upgrade (buisiness phone so must use orange rom) this made no difference so i assumed it was a hardware problem, he got it replaced but the new one also had the fault after a few days. since then it has been replaced about 5 times but all with the same problem, so i decided to have a look at it. The bluetooth seem to turn itself off after the devcie has been in suspend for about 5 minutes, so i was wondering if this was a power management issue.
Any help/tips would be nice
Thanks in advance.
recently my desire hd started doing strange...
when i power on the phone it launches car panel. i've managed to disable that in the settings, BUT
when i'm making a call it puts it onto speakerphone automatically...
this happens when the phone is plugged in AND if it's not plugged in, so the charger cable should not be the problem. Maybe a connector on the mainboard?
Also I've recently did a restore with FULL-WIPE-1.2.zip, so I guess the problem wouldn't be software either, but not sure?
ROM: Android Revolution HD 2.0.9, 2.0.11, miui 1.2.4 both does the same.
Let me know if I should send the phone back for warranty repair, and what should I do prior sending back (S-OFF, orig rom, etc...)
same problem here! did u solve it?
I've had this problem with an HD2, seems to be a HW problem with HTC phones.
Send it back if it's still in warranty.
Me too.
Help me, please !
Got this as well. Gives me gray hairs.
It is widely reported around the web, supposedly cleaning the USB port has helped some. Not me though.
I've got this problem only after I use the usb charger in my car, I've changed the charger rebooted the phone and the problem was solved!
Sorry for bad english!
Sent from my HTC Desire HD using XDA App
Just got my phone back from repairs for this problem. The complete inside of the phone was changed to get this problem fixed. Looked like a defect in the USB Port.
I recently changed the LCD screen on my HTC Desire G7 (A1818) as it was dropped. Apart from a white line on the screen the handset appeared to work fine. Now the phone won't recognise the charger (please connect charger!) and the touchscreen doesn't work. When using the USB cable HTC Sync recognises the phone and appears to communicate with it. On hard reset I get the error Touch screen: fail.
I have changed the touch screen but it hasn't made any difference.
I have a few questions:
- If the LCD screen is faulty can that stop the touchscreen from working?
- It looks like it could be the LCD board; is there anything anybody suggest to check this board?
- Could this be a software fault?
- Could the two fault be related?
Please help as it is driving me mad and costing me loads .
Hi XDA developers,
I have a HTC 10 Running 6.0.1 and a 8100NEX running 1.05 firmware. The app would start on the head unit and shows connected and everything, but it would freeze after a few seconds. The rest of the head unit functions work normally.
I've tried:
-resetting my phone
-developer option of USB debug and USB as MTP
-gone back to 2 of the older firmwares for the 8100NEX
-tried a Galaxy S7 with 6.0.1 didn't work
-it works for my old z3 with 5.0.1 and my Moto G with 6.0
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Apologies for the confusion, and confirmed HTC 10 running 6.0.1 works with Pioneer AVIC-8100NEX on 1.05 firmware and 2016 Civic.
I was out of ideas, even went to try out cars with Android Auto from manufacturer, and those all work. Turns out 6.0.1 is REALLY picky about cables, which I had it going through a USB-Aux retention cable. Though it works for 5.0.2 and 6.0 with the AXXESS AX-SUBUSB retention cable. I finally tore things open and plugged it in the cable directly to the back of the unit and it WORKED!
I have also troubles with Android Auto and a VW Touran 2016.
I have tried severall things. The connection to the Radio lost every few minutes.
Really weird.
Hi all!
I have a 2.5 years old LG G3 black and since Saturday the touch screen doesn't work very well.
When I unlock the phone the touch screen works fine a few seconds (2-5) but then suddenly it doesn't response to my touches, no touch feedback at all. It seems like it freezes... But the rotation and volume settings by the hardware buttons work fine all the time, even if the touch doesn't react .
I did factory reset and brought it to the repair service, they told it's the display and replaced the whole front part of my phone, but after couple of hours using it, the problem appeared again... No idea why, maybe it's a software problem and a reset to kitkat or an older version would help, but I haven't done any software update for a long time, so I don't think it has been caused by an unstable update or similar...
Using Android 6.0 the official one, no ROM.
Do you guys have any idea ?
Thanks a lot for help.
