depends on the Rom developer if they can get it working - stock roms it will not work
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
Known issues:
- Bootloops on Samsung stock ROMs. That's due to Samsung's changes to ART. There are unofficial builds that work around this by deodexing and adjusting the ROM.

I'm running stock 5.1.1 (OH6) with Xposed Lollipop and everything is fine. I have only experienced bootloops when using modules which were not compatible with xposed for lollipop. They are few and far between, though. If you stick to the big name modules (Wanam, Minminguard, Xuimod, Amplify, Powernap, etc) you won't experience any issues with it. You just need to stick to the Wanam's version of Xposed which is located here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=3524397&d=1446204696).
Download his uninstaller here, just in case you do encounter a bootloop.

Anyone running Viper4android mod (lolliviper) on latest stock of nexus 7 2013? Please help me out.

Works for me. Install ElementalX kernel, and in Aroma installer makes sure you install it with Permissive mode on and Viper will work.

I've been using the zips from the nexus 6 themes and apps thread. Works great.
Verizon LG V10
I had to unroot my p600 running 5.1.1 because a few apps that I use now have root check and they refuse to let me use them unless I'm unrooted. (It pisses me off, and I won't reveal the apps since they may find this post if they decide to do a Web search for their app name. Just know that there are no alternatives for these apps).
What is the best and fool proof way to stay rooted, but make apps who check for root think you're unrooted?

I think that with wannam xposed you can do it.

Can you give more details? Last I checked (it's been a while), Xposed wasn't actually available for Lollipop.
What module is needed and is best to use?

I don't remember the details. But you can try to find in this forum.

Xposed for lollipop & marshmellow http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811
Xposed for stock rooted samsung ROMs http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3180960
The first one will cause a bootloop on stock samsung ROMs. The 2nd is an unofficial variant that is supposed to fix that issue. There is a module titled "RootCloak" that is compatible with lollipop and marshmellow rooted devices. Hope that helps :good:

If 'RootCloak' doesn't work (it doesn't seem to work on all apps) there is something out there called 'MinMinHide' and that works really well. I use both and so far every applications I need to hide from Root is successfully hidden.
Best regards.
I tried yesterday without success. Installed busybox then viper4android. No workie. Driver won't install. Searched around and found this driverless v4a and still no go.
Anyone out there get V4A working on MM? If so please share.
How - which V4A file specifically.
Thank You, Jack

Viper4Android FIX 4 Marshmallow 6.0.1.
After doing some diging around i found the solution you will need to be ROOTED ROOTED ROOTED of course and you will need insert subpolicy for Viper4Android cause your kernel is enforcing assuming your running stock firmware so here you go and thanks does not go to me but to the person who wrote it and he knows who he is so a big shout out to the kernel killer.....View attachment ViPER4Android-supolicy.zip
Forgot to you all after inserting the zip via TWRP or whatever else you folks might be useing for a recovery you will need to go into settings on Viper4Android and goto FX compatible mode and click on compatible after you installed the driver and presto Viper4Android will be up and runing ....
Rooted already no????

This file completely messed up my phone. Had to restore my latest TWRP backup.
Thank you for trying to help but I will just learn to live without v4a for now.

this is for anyone facing problems on 6.0.1 and the steps i followed to got it working on note 4 sm-n910f on stock MM 6.0.1
1st ) install v4a app, i am using 2.5..0.5 version available on official website https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223 but i guess older version will also work as long as they support android 6.0
2nd) after installing v4a ,open it ,grant it root access and let it install driver. When it ask for reboot ,reboot device
3rd) after reboot,go to titanium backup and freeze soundalive and adapt sound
4th) boot into recovery and then flash v4a subpolicy.zip
5th) after reboot ,head to v4a app and swipe right and click on setting and select compatible mode
6th) now turn on master switch and change a bunch a of things. i recommend turning bass and clarity up
7th) now play some music. head again to v4a app and turn off master switch to see if you see any change in sound . Aim is to see whether driver is processing or not as the side menu showing driver status will gray out when you select compatible mode in settings.
report back if this method works

WETA AUDIO 9.1. Thats the one i always use with stock rom. Works everytime. It should be on 1st or 2nd page of the roms thread. Dont use the 3.1 or any version. For me that didnt work but 9.1 works everything. My setup is stock rom with elemental x. I aroma i only install viper4androix and busybox
Oh cool thanks Alot.
I know exactly what that is. I have been using the 3.1 mods since it came out. I actually got it to work on past builds but u have to do so much to get it to work and I'm tired of doing that every month.
I still have the 9.1 saved in my storage because I used it long ago. Gonna try that.
Thanks again

You will have to flash the RC1 version of TWRP and then reboot into recovery before flashing the WETA 9.1 zip or it will not install.
