Anyone have a similar problem with their loud speaker not working unless you tap?. headphone and ear piece works fine just annoying as you can't hear it when someone sends a text or phones unless its on vibrate. Already opened it up and bent the pins up and still the same problem.
Hi
I have problems with my HTC One X during phone calls.
On the other side of the call they say it sounds like I'm in "speaker mode" but am not.
On my side of the call the sound is strange. Sometimes I can not hear good. Dark and low. And sometimes its pitchy. Sorry for my bad English.
I Think my problems started when I dropped the pone.
Is the ear speaker and the mic bad or just the ear speaker?
Do you know where to find a guide on how to replace the ear speaker and/or the mic part as well?
Thanks.
I have the same problem. (see my thread) .
Did you find an answer yet?

Solved!
Pascal.
Sometimes during calls I hear a hissing / crackling noise, as if the other partys voice is getting distorted.
A restart of the phone solves the problem temporarily.

On a related note, can you report on the experience of taking a call on the G3 when the audio is run through your car stereo via aux? Can the other caller hear your voice well, even when there is some noise from the car moving? Do they hear any echo from their own voice being played over the car speakers?
Low crackling noise in headset on LG G3
When making call through the headset speaker there is a very low almost electrical sounding crackle in the back ground. Callers don't hear it just me. On speaker phone or in Bluetooth in car I don't hear it. It's present during every phone call. I bought 2 LG G3's, and black and a white for my wife and hers doesn't have this issue. All of her calls are very clear. Also today the G3 stopped recognizing my headphones, where as my work phone, a Galaxy SIII and my wife's it will. Some old iPhone ear buds work fine, I just think it's strange my newer ear buds stopped working and they still work in other phones. I have also had the phone just freeze while opening settings and making to phone call unfroze it.
My lg g4 loudspeaker has weird problem .. There is a hissing and crackling sound from the speaker. The bottom part of mobile heats up unbearably near loud speaker.. So I've deattached loud speaker from my mobile. I tried with many back housing containing loudspeaker and it has same issue. It looks like short circuit near loudspeaker ..Can you guys help me find solution to this issue ?
