Hi,
From quite some time I'm looking for a solution to my problem and I can't find one so I decide to ask You my friends
I have a usb dashcam connected to my android headunit and I'm not able to set recording to my external sd card with any 3rd party dashcam softwares except the one which is build into the firmware.
I'm using rooted Malaysk ROMs Lollipop 5.1.1 and it would be nice if there would be solution which does not require downgrade to android 4.
Any ideas??
I'm on Malaysk 4.4.4 and I have always been able to select external memory in DailyRoads Voyager.
EDIT: I realise that is not helpful for you... sorry

Hello,
since Android 4.4 Kitkat is available for Z1C quite a long time I was asking myself wether it is still possible to load Music Files through my computer on my SD Card (wiht mass storage activated on my z1 compact).
If yes I am fine and would update to 4.4 KitKat if not, I would stay on 4.3 even though I would like to see KitKat on my device.
Could someone please check this out?

Don't ever recall not being able to.
Sure you can... I've done it two or three times.

So it's working like it did on 4.3?
Also in mass storage mode, because that is the importatant thing for me
By the way with SD card I mean the external micro SD card (mine is 32 GB)
Hello I just installed Android Revolution HD 9.1 ROM, and the default camera application is not working because my external SD card is not class 10. It shows me a message with the restriction.
I don't want to use external memory to save the camera photos!
I remove the external SD card, reboot the phone, but camera still doesn't work.
Appreciate your help, since I don't want to change again my ROM
same problem
I am having the same problem. Were you able to figure this out?

In the camera app, under Settings, can you change the save location under "Storage"?
Did you guys post this under ARHD thread? Maybe mike isn't aware of the issue and if it's ROM related you might get better help there.

TL;DR: Anyone got a CM11 based ROM for Crackling they could link to please?
Longer version:
Upgraded to CM13 a while back to try out Marshmallow. Its OK I guess - less irritating than Lollipop certainly - but I'm not loving the way it handles SD cards. I had been using Link2SD to link apps to a second EXT partition but Marshmallow reads this as corrupt and keeps wanting to reformat it. I read a few descriptions and thought that adoptive storage (AKA format as internal) sounded pretty much like what Link2SD did, so fair enough, formatted my card (for the record this is a 64 GB card not the 32 GB card Wileyfox says it can handle, but was working fine otherwise). After the format I was able to move about 3GB to the SD card but a lot of apps don't move - looking at them they're pretty much all ones which can put widgets on screen. I'm not exactly short of space at the moment but this irritates me - especially as I can't seem to directly access the card to install other things on it (like the offline Wikipedia files needed for Kiwix). Prior to that I found the extra security put on the SD card more of a hinderance than a benefit.
Anyhow, looked for a ROM to return to Kitkat but all of the Crackling ROMs on CyanogenMod are for CM13, with the exception of an experimental CM12 - I fell out of love with Lollipop about ten seconds after looking at the interface so I don't want to go back to that (although I imagine that if I had all three of them together Marshmallow would look a lot more like Lollipop than it does Kitkat) so would much prefer going back to CM11, although if anyone can find an alternative to my current issue that'd work too!
Cheers,
Jon.
Hello everyone!
I’m a new user of this forum and not perfectly sure if I posted this in the right section. Please tell me, if it isn’t the case.
Some days ago, I formatted my Class 10, 32 GB external micro SD-Card to become part of the internal storage of my Samsung Galaxy S4 mini (GT-I9195, Android Version 6.0.1, rooted, CyanogenMod Version 13.0-20160418-SNAPSHOT…, Kernel Version 3.4.0-cyanogemnod). Some of the apps I use (such as Spotify or WhatsApp) now store data on the (formatted) external SD-Card, which is perfectly fine. The problem is, that every time I reboot my phone, all of this data is no more accessible to the apps. So WhatsApp tells me that it can’t find pictures I received and was able to look at before rebooting my phone. Spotify downloads all my music again, as if it wasn’t there. Some other apps, such as an offline map app I use, are missing downloaded cards and so on.
This already is annoying, but additionally, the storage left (as stated in the settings) gets smaller with every time this process begins again. So it seems the data is perhaps not actually wiped, but the apps just don’t have access to them after a reboot.
I hope there is someone who knows a possible solution to this.
Thank you very much!
Hi all,
I just bought myself an eTong Android 4.4.4 car radio for my Honda Accord (they are all over AliExpress). The biggest problem with this unit is its limitation of 265MB of internal memory and the hardest problem is trying to communicate with the eTong representatives because they all speak chinese and a lot seems to get lost in translation even though the sales guys can talk some english.
I don't know how to root this device, if I did I would be putting something like SDFix on it so I could install apps onto an SD card and my problem would be solved. The device has 2 SD card slots.. one labeled GPS and the other labeled SD Card, however the system just sees it as 2 separate SD cards and doesn't have any real distinction between them. If you go into the apps screen there is no option to move it to the SD card either.
So my question becomes... Does anybody know how to a) root the device.. b) install programs onto any one of the SD cards without a root if option a is not quite possible yet.
use KINGROOT. APK
