So I might be getting a Note 2 since the 3 is too expensive for me right now. I do not like touchwiz all that much (well mainly the way the bottom dock area for apps are, I like the app circle in the middle as well as being able to customize my grid for home screens.)
Anyway, I'd like to keep the s-pen functionality as well as the dual app screen and etc. so is there a rom that keeps these features from samsung in but has the home screen and such similar to stock android? I noticed there's a stable release of cyanogenmod out, but I cannot find any full data on this particular rom other than "unoffical" versions of it by other people.
Or would I be better off sticking with getting a different launcher, and putting up with the app drawer and etc.?

If you want to keep full S-Pen funcitonality it has to be a rom built on a TouchWiz base.
Sounds like you want a Touchwiz based rom and a custom launcher like nova. That's how I roll and I love it.

Hi, I have a note 2 N7100 running android 4.3 MI6 leaked, it's odexed. I flashed the note 3 touch wiz launcher with my magazine. Today I changed my LCD density to 240dpi. So the note 3 launcher was like half the phone screen, so I saw a thread on Galaxy Note 2 Themes and Apps. Called 240dpi touch wiz launcher. I flashed it, I rebooted, but I didn't find the launcher. I'm stock on the "Easy mode" launcher. Any help would be appreciated.
Ps: I flashed the launcher more than twice trying to make it work. The launcher is found in system/app but it seems the phone isn't reading it.
I also tried moving it to system/app with correct permissions manually.

So I am trying the s5 port roms for note 3. I am not happy with the changes they made with s5 launcher and most of all that change of menu to recent apps. I tried several fixes and nothing works. I tried a third party launcher like apex and I got the function back. so I determined it's an issue with the s5 launcher. can anyone post a link to n3 default touchwiz launcher? That can be used on a s5 port rom
