i have an lg g2 sprint ls980
it was on 4.4.2 rom i try to update it with my pc to 5.02
and it brick i take it to a shop and it repair the boot
but now the sim card not working and the brightness it's so low and when i look the screen and turn it on it turn off again automaticly
notice : the phone is renouvelé it's not origine
plzz guys help me how i fix it :'( :'(
can the custom rom fix this ??

i just buy a lg g2 sprint and the guy who sell me the cell told me that it was unlocked and it was cause im using it with my telcel sim card in mexico but i just find out that it has a custom rom call rayglobe flex 3.5 android 4.2.2 , and i just found out that sprint cannot be unlocked by code and i found a way to get it simunlock , i want to update to 4.4.2 for that i need to return to stock
i follow instructions exactly i download tot and dll for ls980 but my phone says that is a d802 but the back of my phone says ls980 and is a sprint version but my phone says d802 so when i try to use lgflashtool everything go ok but after waiting for conection says wrong model number or check dll
and i cant return it to stock is there a way to change model number so lgflashtool can be use ?
and kind of new to custom roms and root and stuff
i have twrp recovery
or is there like a custom rom that i could flash without loosing my simunlock?

i was following that "Sprint LG G2 Unbrick/Back to Stock (Download Mode Required)"
im on the last step but lg flashtool show "Download FAIL"... Device model is different, check phone or DLL,
i was on 4.4.2 kitket
i modified build prop and change my model number to get my gear2 work with my g2 and now my phone is not working
it does boot but it said " com.android.systemui processor close" and touch screen doesnt work..
i think because i change my model name ...ls980 to GT-I9500 i have no idea how to fix..
or is there any way to replace build prop?? plz help
if i cant fix it am i able to send it to lg and get fix??

Yesterday I bought LG G2 D802 (32gb) from market I checked it in Hardware information it was exactly D802 and also install cpu z it also showed same model. So, I update with D802 lollipop firmware using LG Flash Tool. After updating its touch sensor working randomly in the meanwhile sim card is also not detecting. It also lost imei number
I download many firmware but in vain. However, when i removed its back cover i was shocked to see it was LS980.
Now prob is that D802 firmware is not working properly as i told you touch sensor and signal issue. I'm also unable to update it in LS980 firmware because it gives error that wrong model and cannot update it.
Pleasssse anyone help me out.....

Hi! Guys I'm new here. I need a little help. I just updated my LG G4 to marshmallow using LG Bridge. The update was successful. After the update I had to factory reset my phone because of problem. Since then I am having trouble with it. I've inserted a fully working sim card but it's still showing me Emergency Calls Only. I've tried other sim cards and also have reset my phone again but the problem is still there. Before the update the phone was running excellent no problems at all .I can't figure out how I can solve this problem. If anyone has got a solution please help me.

same problems here, using H815 work fine before but after update MM via LG Bridge my phone bricked
downgrade to 5.1 using LGUP my phone is on again but now with no signal or no services....

few weeks back i bought a lg g5 Sprint device. that was working fine on my home carrier ZONG 4G (lte band B3 1800+) fine .but unfort after getting one after an other software updates devices became network locked at ZVE . so i went to a locle technician for unlock.. but he did a downgrade and device became dead .. i searched here and there and came to know that it is un repairable .. so i decided to rplace its logic board..and bought an old lg g5 sprint and rplaced the board ..
NOW...i have the following problems with my device..
1...4g lte not working on my lg g5 sprint (with new board)
2...sim contects option is not present (l cant list sim contects. nor able to save contects on sim.
3.. device is unlocked by hidden menu call .. and running on lab network mode.. tried to enable lte Band 3 1800+. but band is not listed..
4... many of system apps are missing ..
5... cant add APN through setting .
so i decided to reflash device with STOCK ZV8 .. but dont know how .. and also want to know . if reflashing the same firmware will solve the issues.. your kind words will be highly appreciated in this regard.. thanks.
