Hi all
few weeks back i bought a lg g5 Sprint device. that was working fine on my home carrier ZONG 4G (lte band B3 1800+) fine .but unfort after getting one after an other software updates devices became network locked at ZVE . so i went to a locle technician for unlock.. but he did a downgrade and device became dead .. i searched here and there and came to know that it is un repairable .. so i decided to rplace its logic board..and bought an old lg g5 sprint and rplaced the board ..
NOW...i have the following problems with my device..
1...4g lte not working on my lg g5 sprint (with new board)
2...sim contects option is not present (l cant list sim contects. nor able to save contects on sim.
3.. device is unlocked by hidden menu call .. and running on lab network mode.. tried to enable lte Band 3 1800+. but band is not listed..
4... many of system apps are missing ..
5... cant add APN through setting .
so i decided to reflash device with STOCK ZV8 .. but dont know how .. and also want to know . if reflashing the same firmware will solve the issues.. your kind words will be highly appreciated in this regard.. thanks.

So far, managed to root my Korean F240L, still running 4.4.2 for now until there's a root for Lollipop. Haven't managed to see any 4G signal in the UK since I got it , get 3G sporadically but the reception is way worse than the same sim card in my old Nexus 4. Network is Giff Gaff (ie O2) , should I consider going for a UK baseband update ?
Right ok, since found out that the Korean version doesn't support UK 4G. Is it possible to change this ?

If the phone doesn't support the LTE bands your desired carrier offers, then no, you're boned.
Think I'm in a similar situation
Got an E986 from Germany running 4.4.2 KitKat (E98620a-EUR-XX), it works great on 3G in the UK but NO 4G at all on my Three 4G Sim card. Tried enabling it in the hidden phone menu - no joy.
I thought I would be able to get 4G working by rooting and re-flashing but by god I cannot get this thing rooted despite my best attempts from trying all the techniques on here
Thought if I downgraded to 4.1.2 then I would have better luck rooting, but can't seem to download a .kdz that isn't corrupted when I try the LG FlashTool

You cant change the bands of a phone by flashing other things. If it doesnt work it most likely wont be able too.
I own lg g4 h812 Canadian version
I bought it from canada and without using a Canadian sim brought it back to India. Here's the problem.
Indian sims like idea airtel vodafine or bsnl they work sometimes i can even make a call sometimes but i don't know how but the phone starts showing emergency calls only even when there is network. The data lte/3g/gprs doesn't work at all. Even the default apn doesn't appear.
So is this a hardware problem
If the sim was Locked then Indian sims should not work at all but i can make calls if i restart the phone.

LG H812 data and calling issue
bro it is all because of incompitable lte and wcdma bands. lg g4 canadian version has different bands that not works with indian service providers

Access the hidden menu on your phone by entering the following on your phone keypad:
*#546368#*812#
then go to Field Test > Modem Settings > LTE Band Selection and select the bands appropriate to your network carrier to see if they're OK or they Fail. Then, still in Modem Settings, scroll down to Network Mode and do the same.
If no help there, your choices are to:
- In Settings > Mobile Data, click on the 3 dots on the right of the top menu bar and select Mobile Networks - Network Mode and select your preferred Network mode. Then below there go to Access point names and touch the 3 dots on the right of the top menu bar there and enter the New APN settings for the network carrier you're using now.
- if no success there, wipe your modemst1 and modemst2 and reboot - can solve some modem problems.
- if still nothing - flash an appropriate KDZ (good site for the H812 KDZ's - https://lg-firmwares.com/lg-h812-firmwares/ ) for your phone model (if your carrier there has VOLTE support for the LG G4, try a Rogers/Fido KDZ), with LGUP-NEW.

Not yet I have not tried to kdz yet and the phone belongs to my cousin I will try flashing different kdz

hello guys , i urgently need help with my G4 i updated my phone using lg software and after the phone done i lost the network
i tried to flash it many time with orginal stock and even downgraded to the same , all the roms i used , using flash tool gave me the same issue no network its too weak network not dead 100 % but almost dead

Lg g4 h815 .No service. Need help pls
I am from india. I recieved an international version lg g4 h815. Software version H81510h. I upgraded to H81520L MM using LGUP. After that I'm not getting network. The mobile network option in settings is inaccessible and not highlighted. The phone works perfectly appart from that. I tried searching the issue. I guess it has something to do with the change in modem after update.
Its a case of very low signal reception. I can get 50% signal where it used to be 100. And no network where i used to get 50% network. Anyone solved this issue?
Check your imei i suspect that your modemst is corrupted..
Hey guys i'm having some problems with my lg g3 d851, since the screen of my beloved lg g2 died after 2 years and a half, my friend gave me his lg g3 to use it as a tablet since the phone doesnt recognize any signal at all, right now is running the stock rom for android marshmallow, everything works fine except for the signal that either always keeps in "no service", i already try to put another sim card on the phone and its showing the same problem, already checked the IMEI on the swappa blacklist and everything is okay, here are a few screenshots, any thoughts on how to solve this problem would be very appreciated thank you!

hi thanks for replying, yeah i already modified the APN settings under mobile networks with the APN of my carrier that is IUSACELL (AT&T México) and is still showing the same problem "no service" or "searching"
I had the same problem, try installing another modem, or send me an pm, I have the same mobile company (right now I'm having some problems with the at&t mexico)
I am having a similar problem with my d851 30g. It isvnot rooted and running stock android 6.0 tmobile rom. I am with movistar (mexico) it will have signal and be on the network and then eject the sim saying invalid then reset. Did factory reset. Movistar sim worked for about an hour and then same thing. Have a s from telcel switched and no problem till this Morning. Did the same thing and restarted. Recognized the sim and all fine. I am new to this and could use a little help. As it is connecting with the other sim and not my movistar sim. Possible software issue or corrupted sim?

I've bought a european market ZE551ML and have it on the metro PCS network. Every APN I've tried both T-mobile and Metro fail to give me LTE or 4g. I had a previous ZE551ML that was on the same network that had no problem getting LTE. WW firmware phone with 4.21.40.352 MM Installed. The phones rooted and bootloader unlocked. I can get hspa+ but LTE is the problem . Attached are the Screenshots from my APN and phone settings as well as random network Data. Im a network engineer with alot of experience and I've tried everything I can without success a little help would be much appreciated and would using a custom ROM help in any way.
Unfortunately after adding over 7 tinypic URL images I had to delete them cause This is my first post which im sure would have helped alot.
