[SPLASH] HTC Incredible2 (Inc1 style, inverted colors)

whipped this up for myself and thought I'd share in case anyone else wanted it. copy to root of sdcard and reboot into hboot/bootloader to install

[BOOTANIMATION] IT Crowd opening credits

Originally created this for my Incredible, re-worked to for my Galaxy Nexus.
Redrew the scene from scratch to make the animation frames.
EDIT: this is not the flashable variety, zip contains:
bootanimation.zip
readme.txt
Also, I added the 800x480 version .zip file (from my Incredible) to the attachments.

Dude, I'm counting down the minutes until Feb 7th.

First off, Thank you for this bootanimation. I love the IT Crowd. Is it possible to have boot sound on the nexus, I would the to have the intro theme playing as well. If not, no problems.

Has anyone been able to get this to work? I flash other animations fine with the package here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1364044 but can't get this one to work and it's the one I actually wanted It just boots up completely black.

[Q] Is this legal?

I got this idea from Kibbzle over in apps and themes about custom dialers. His are AOSP, but I made some for MIUI rom dialers. Can I start a new thread and start making some for miui rom users or will I be in the wrong?

I think you are safe as long as you don't try and sell it, IE profit.. I may be wrong.

Let me know if this works for you?
Copy Contacts.apk to sd>then replace original in system>app with this one using some sort of root explorer. I like es. reboot

Thumbnail is a little off when clicked but the file is ok.. here it is on my phone
make sure and back your original just in case!

Question about boot animations.

Will boot animations made for the Note work on an E4GT? I believe they have the same resolution, so wouldn't that mean it would work on both devices?
Just wondering, because I downloaded a ton of boot animations someone had for the original Note, but I'm a bit hesitant to flash any of them because it's a different device.

I doubt its the same resolution. I may be wrong though. Epic touch has 4.5 in while note has a 5 in screen. That's a whole lot more pixels lol

But wouldn't that come down to pixel density, not resolution? I thought they were both 400x800 resolution?

Can you provide a download link or post one of them? All I can find here is a youtube video and the itouchfiends website doesn't help.

There should have been a download link in the description I believe.

That's the direct download link to all the boot animations. It's like 200-300mb if I remember correctly.

I think that is one of the nexus boot animations I have posted here and these are flashable:

Some of the rest you posted probably won't work without some editing since the dimensions are for a tablet like you said. Also, what you have are raw bootanimations. They can't be flashed in recovery. There are a bunch of good boot animations in Rom Toolbox. Getting those to work is hit and miss though. If you flash one of mine, it should set up the phone to accept some of those too though.
I would check out what I have already ported over. Also, check out Rom Toolbox and if you can't get any of those to work, I will tell you how to adjust the dimensions. They are easily edited right from Rom Toolbox bootanimation menu. I think most of what you have is already in Rom Toolbox or listed in my downloads.

[Q] [REQUEST] google logo splash screen

i cant find this for our phone, can someone make it? i think itll get pretty good buzz on our forums.

Here is the splash screen you need scroll down and diwnload google PG32IMG.zip, place in root of sdcard and reboot bootloader it will flash once you hit bootloader and installs by itself. Do not flash via recovery.

Yep, there is or you can download the .zip file and place it on the root of sd card and boot into HBOOT and accept the update. The tool can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=956434

great start, but any way you could manipulate it so the google logo is larger (its really small on my screen) and make the lock smaller (its pretty big on my screen). i wish i could find a way to screenshot it.
