Ok he should have asked first but that's no way of dealing with it. You just said you share you work with Fascinate and Captivate so what's the problem if someone in the I9000 forum uses them AND says he'll credit you?

I'm about 95% sure it will. I pulled the SystemUI.apk from Nosympathy(thankyou) stock ROM. The only APK in this zip is SystemUI.apk, so you could always use 7-ZIP and create a new ZIP with your ROMS SystemUI.apk if you get a bad flash.

haha. FOR SURE. I'll be porting over some HD themes soon. So far, I've themed status_bar_background and the bottom of the drop down bar. lol. WIP. Good news is that once I get my base going, I can usually push other color themes out within a couple days. ::cyclops:

Hey man... Great work... Is there anyway you could post one that mods the dropdown transparency and not the icons on the notification bar? I use a diff theme for those icons but would like to have the transparency... Unless all that is in the systemUI.apk.. Then ill probably have to do it myself.... :thumbup:

Question about boot animations.

Will boot animations made for the Note work on an E4GT? I believe they have the same resolution, so wouldn't that mean it would work on both devices?
Just wondering, because I downloaded a ton of boot animations someone had for the original Note, but I'm a bit hesitant to flash any of them because it's a different device.

I doubt its the same resolution. I may be wrong though. Epic touch has 4.5 in while note has a 5 in screen. That's a whole lot more pixels lol

But wouldn't that come down to pixel density, not resolution? I thought they were both 400x800 resolution?

Can you provide a download link or post one of them? All I can find here is a youtube video and the itouchfiends website doesn't help.

I think that is one of the nexus boot animations I have posted here and these are flashable:

Some of the rest you posted probably won't work without some editing since the dimensions are for a tablet like you said. Also, what you have are raw bootanimations. They can't be flashed in recovery. There are a bunch of good boot animations in Rom Toolbox. Getting those to work is hit and miss though. If you flash one of mine, it should set up the phone to accept some of those too though.
I would check out what I have already ported over. Also, check out Rom Toolbox and if you can't get any of those to work, I will tell you how to adjust the dimensions. They are easily edited right from Rom Toolbox bootanimation menu. I think most of what you have is already in Rom Toolbox or listed in my downloads.

orignally i had to use a modified kernel to make these work until i figured out (with the help of someone) that you didnt need it, but i leave it in there until i know all the lines of code i put in there relating to it are out

Does it change the kernel? All you really have to do is replace the Samsungani and you can use any bootani

i know, it doesnt change the kernel, but we are working on getting the down ani's working and it includes a kernel but its not even close to done yet

A boot animation with that embedded "Android in Space" video would be awesome!... it's small... only like 189kbs... I'm on a SGH-i317M... cheers

Trump Boot Animation

Trump... lol it doesn't matter if you hate him or love him, you'll laugh at this boot animation I found and custom fit for the Pixel XL.

Just use Root Explorer to copy it to /system/media.
First, rename the old bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.old if you don't want to lose it.
Then change permissions on this new one to RW/R/R like you see in my screenshot below.
Then reboot and lol.
