I'm pleased to tell you that I have DIY a HTC hero rom:FLZYUP Custom ROM v1.0 based on MCR 2.9.
Key Features:
1. After flash, You can choose three languages:simplified Chinese,traditional Chinese,English
2. Add-ons for Chinese users,such as smart dial by pinyin and so on .
3. ADD moto Blur Animation
4. ADD htc Chinese IME.
5. Bootsound enabled by default.
6. Root,APP2SD.etc just like MCR ROM
7. modify hosts file for downloading softs. in market rightly.
8. The Enhanced Version add some useful softwares and you can uninstall them by yourselves.

By any chance can you use a different download provider:
1. For the raysource download provider I am left with the following message "this file size too large, please use raysource to download". I do not want to sign up with this provider and download a software so that I am able to download this ROM.
2. I have tried qqfile in babel translation and it cannot translate it correctly. I have tried to download from there by guessing but still no use. Maybe a tutorial might be helpful.
You are more likely to receive more downloads for your ROM if you use an international based provider such as mediafire, rapidshare or 4shared etc

same here, i clicked on every link on those pages, but no download started... couldn't read the messages.
same here.. even clicking the "english" button in the top right don't help.. I'm not able to download from that site..
Got to the download page but then it says the file is too big, use raysource or something, so I click on that and it wants me to download and install raysource client (some download manager to download from the site)
So, i'll wait for a decent link
I haven't upload to mediafire, rapidshare or 4shared .etc,that's because in our regin I cann't visit these websites. Although I can visit, the speed is very slowly. For point 1,you download the software and install it. Without sign up,you can download them. For point 2, If you user IE and download tools, you can download it！I'll try to upload them to mediafire, rapidshare or 4shared .etc

I'm in the process of downloading them (taking forever though) and will then upload to a couple of different filesharing host locations

Straight off a fresh reboot this doesn't feel as good as Modacos, so I'm flashing back. Chinese text occasionally appears when using English and there's a few apps in there I think are paid versions.

I get the same feeling that it's just not quite the same as Modacos and of course the odd Chinese text popping up here and there.

I'm in the Czech Republic and I cant get access to the Paid Apps. I want to purchase some apps and use from of the free ones... How can I make my phone think I'm in the US?
You would need to root your phone and install Market Enabler, which will spoof the Market into thinking you are in a different region where paid apps are available.

^^ used BarCode Scanner to open the url given... it just downloads the url onto my SD card in the form of an html file.
It's not a link to the app itself - it's a link to a file sharing where you can find the app.
Try opening the HTML on a PC!

i wonder if anyone can help me out. i made an apk in host site conduit and upload the app in google play store. But there is a restriction in downloading from users (till 5 users). i have the apk folder in my desktop since i uploaded myself. Is there any way i could change something inside the apk folder and get rid of this limitation? I would apreciate your help, and donate if you solve my problem. thanks

Easiest way is to use ES File Explorer, open the side menu and look for APP under the Library section. It'll list all the apks for user installed apps, just copy the apk from there and paste it to a folder on the device.

Amazon Fire TV Kodi Splashscreens & Guide Thread
Here are my custom splashscreens which i modded or tweaked myself using Photoshop, but seeing though iam a nice XDA user i thought id share with the Fire TV community on here. These are all set at the correct size of 1920x1080 which i use on my Amazon Fire TV Stick but im sure they will work the same with all the Amazon Fire TV units. Apply these to your version of Kodi with AdbFire via a laptop or homecomputer.
Guide for sending a custom splashscreen to your Amazon Fire TV device -
1. Download & then open/run AdbFire
2. Click on the New button to setup Adb with your FTV
3. Name your device in the discription section
4. Enter your IP address in the address section
5. Press the save button to save your device
6. Check your device shows up in devices & check Adb is running at the bottom
7. Download the desired kodi splashscreen or folder from below
8. Click File in the top left corner & select Splashscreen
9. Choose the location where you downloaded to & select a splashscreen.png
10. Click open & wait for Adb to push the file to your FTV
If you download or like these splashscreens please press the thanks button & or comment (if you dont mind) & also if you download AdbFire please make sure you leave Jocala a comment or thanks as well.

It's located in Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/kodi/media then place your file In there & name it Spash.png, sorry for the lateness on replying I work a Nightshift & just woke up, hope this helps ??
