I'm pleased to tell you that I have DIY a HTC hero rom:FLZYUP Custom ROM v1.0 based on MCR 2.9.
Key Features:
1. After flash, You can choose three languages:simplified Chinese,traditional Chinese,English
2. Add-ons for Chinese users,such as smart dial by pinyin and so on .
3. ADD moto Blur Animation
4. ADD htc Chinese IME.
5. Bootsound enabled by default.
6. Root,APP2SD.etc just like MCR ROM
7. modify hosts file for downloading softs. in market rightly.
8. The Enhanced Version add some useful softwares and you can uninstall them by yourselves.

By any chance can you use a different download provider:
1. For the raysource download provider I am left with the following message "this file size too large, please use raysource to download". I do not want to sign up with this provider and download a software so that I am able to download this ROM.
2. I have tried qqfile in babel translation and it cannot translate it correctly. I have tried to download from there by guessing but still no use. Maybe a tutorial might be helpful.
You are more likely to receive more downloads for your ROM if you use an international based provider such as mediafire, rapidshare or 4shared etc

same here, i clicked on every link on those pages, but no download started... couldn't read the messages.
same here.. even clicking the "english" button in the top right don't help.. I'm not able to download from that site..
Got to the download page but then it says the file is too big, use raysource or something, so I click on that and it wants me to download and install raysource client (some download manager to download from the site)
So, i'll wait for a decent link
I haven't upload to mediafire, rapidshare or 4shared .etc,that's because in our regin I cann't visit these websites. Although I can visit, the speed is very slowly. For point 1,you download the software and install it. Without sign up,you can download them. For point 2, If you user IE and download tools, you can download it！I'll try to upload them to mediafire, rapidshare or 4shared .etc

Straight off a fresh reboot this doesn't feel as good as Modacos, so I'm flashing back. Chinese text occasionally appears when using English and there's a few apps in there I think are paid versions.

I get the same feeling that it's just not quite the same as Modacos and of course the odd Chinese text popping up here and there.

Does anyone have a working download link for the official X04HT ROM, or the cooked X04HT ROM by Sky Man that removed the USIM nag screen? The official ROM posted up on Rapidshare has a checksum error on the zip file, and Sky Man has disappeared from the forums. There was an uploaded.to link as well but that is not working (incredibly slow and then stops after 2mb)
So anyone who got the link from Sky Man, or has a good copy of the original ROM Zip file, could you *please* link it up again? Thanks

Hey, thanks yes that was the one that has a CRC error. I downloaded it 3 times to be sure, and each time it came up with the same error each time :-(

Do I need to install Chinese fonts or whatever to see chinese characters on websites and documents etc.?? I don't need to write/edit it - just being able to read/see what's there will be very helpful.

The reason I want chinese displayed on my HTC is that when I am asking for directions or viewing/printing something for other ppl who can read chinese.

This application allows you to easily download files from One-Click-Hosters like rapidshare. It can be used to download your files overnight without use of PC, but remember to plug your PocketPC to charger.
I recomend turning of not cheap GPRS data connection in case of WiFi lost connection.
Application using michyprima's manila SDK.
User guide:
After first start go to "Config" tab, select destination folder for your files and click "Save". Now you can add files in "Files" tab or by editing file "files.txt" and then reloading it using "Menu->Reload files.txt".
When you added some files you can start download process. Files will be removed automaticly from list after download.
Known bugs:
- not all rapidshare error messages are parsed
- directory browser can't create new directory
- some minor UI bugs like formatting timer

edit: Works, but the problem with my device is , that i haven´t got a Storage Card, it called "Interner Speicher" on my german Diamond. So the files will download only to device storage -.-
Another problem is, that the device turn off, when I am downloading, so it would be nice if you can put in a function, that disable this,during the app is running.
And of course if possible more hoster support, for example netload, upload..

There is a file, that for the past weeks I never got a chance from crapidshare to downlead it,I was thinking that the site will never give a slot for this file. But last night your lite tool did it. After about 20 times trying by itself, it downloaded the file while I was sleeping.
Here's some minor issues and suggestions:
Like others found, in my Chinese ROM, it created a folder and downloaded the file to main memory.
On my QVGA device, the font size for displaying details is too small.
Is that possible in future release to make it work with other sites like mediafire etc. I don't really have demand for this myself, but maybe others have better suggested site.
Last thing is that your app does not have an icon and the shortcut looks not good in start menu. If you want to keep the tiny size of it and does not want to include another file into it, you may just use one of the system icons that comes with shellres etc.
Anyway it already did what is expected to do.
Premiumaccount and "Speicherkarte" support - would be nice

Hey great idea, but yea writing the web address is a pain, copy n paste would be good, but how about incorporating search!!!
Maybe hook up to a few search sites, use their code, and then be able to click on it, which inputs the address into what you already have!

When i want to try something, and download it, i hate some FileHostSites.
As i'm a webdesigner and got my own server i made my own filehost website.
I only want to host files from XDA-Developers.com.
So if u want to use it as developer, use the same username as on this website, all other usernames will be deleted.
I also made the upload limit 253,5 MB as most roms don't exceed this.
It allows: CAB ZIP & RAR files.
The website is new and in beta, feel free to use it and give me some comments on it when there's a bug.

4.Copy "Paperman.smt" file from Extras folder to \AppEx\User\Theme\Download (optional) (if you want Paperman theme)
5.Disconnect the phone from PC
6.Open Settings>>>Display>>>Font type &/or Theme to set your font &/or Theme
7.Open phone Keypad and enter the code *#33284*# choose Low and press Save and wait for phone reset

@MyLove : social hub is necessary feature for me so i have changed clientstring.lang fi;e and csc using trix. and flash these files (csc and shpapp)as update but when i reboot the phome it says SHP has expired. and then i am unable to use shp. do you know what i did wrong?

For Important file after flash you can put in all in one PFS
flash it together or reset Hard if after flashing

use stune to replace client file and customer.xml file too
then pre-config your phone with *#272*HHHH# code and choose the csc file you edited
you should get SHP by doing this
but as i said before your phone will lag

Normally both TriX AND Wave_Remaker create compatible files for Multiloader.
Both Tools have features for advanced users...
For you no need to enter Utils1 and 2 on Wave_Remaker.
Concentrate your energie only on First Tab... FW view

Thanx for the answer. i found what i was doing wrong. Since i did not did full flash thats why shp was not working. Now after full flash i am able to run SHP snd polaris office. One more thing i want to ask from where everyone get thispolaris office fiile?? it is not available in stores. To integrate it i dumped it from previous beta .
Polaris is from S8600 Firmware...

one more thing i found this firmware. this firmware is comptable with bada1.2 application. i just tested some apps and there was not any problems with option menu anymore.
