CM 14.1 install stopping twrp access - OnePlus 3 Questions & Answers

Hi all, last night I installed CM 14.1 on my one plus 3 and since then there has been nothing but problems with my op3 so I tried to boot into twrp but I was treated to a black screen after the one plus logo, i have tried reflashing the recovery image but to no avail. Really need some advice here, any replies are greatly appreciated.

Zenfone 2 Laser ZE551KL Brick?

Hi everyone,
After years of running custom roms on various phones, I finally messed one up to the point I don't know how to fix it.
I've got a zenfone 2 laser. KE551KL (z00t).
Symptoms:
-Phone will automatically boot into TWRP no matter what I do.
-If I try to flash a rom, after completion, TWRP claims no OS is installed.
-Cannot boot to bootloader
I have spent a whole day looking for how to fix this but haven't found anything that applies to my model. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

nexus 5x stuck in bootlooop and unable to fix

hi, so i'm not going to even start how much trouble this bootlop caused me.
it happened overnight so my alarm did not go off and i came late a work,...
i searched for 5 hours straight, downloaded more than 5gb .img files and twrp versions.
i even tried lineage os but nothing is working
until i stumbled upon this guide -> https://www.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x-bootloop-fix-boot-phone/
i download the img file used adb to flash it and now the phone is stuck on the google logo.
before this my phone would go on and off and showing a warning that my bootloader is unlocked now its just stuck.
i installed different versions of bullhead and still had no success.
if there is anyone with the same problem and found a solution please lord show him this thread so he can help me.
thank you in advance.

Probably the boot loop of death.
Check this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-5x/general/tool-bootloop-death-blod-workaround-t3819497
Since you already have your bootloader unlocked, you should just have to flash the BLOD 4 cores fix zip.
I'd you've needed up your phone, flash the latest Google image (flash-all) then the BLOD 4 cores fix before the phone restarts into the OS.

Rooting help: bootloop, possible soft-brick

Hey all; first post and 100% green with rooting. This is my first attempt and i'm hitting a stumbling block.
First off, I've been using the guide on "theandroidsoul"(can't post a link due to post count, but a quick google search should bring you to the exact one)
I have successfully setup ADB, unlocked the bootloader, flashed TWRP 3.2.3-1 and have been able to boot into it using ADB.
However on step 10 of the guide i'm using, it's not too clear if i should skip formatting the device memory or go ahead and do it. I did it. I suspect this might be where i went wrong.
Regardless, i'm able to move Magisk onto the internal storage and TWRP is able to install it successfully.
Once i try to reboot, the "bootloader unlocked" warning screen shows, then the oneplus boot screen appears. It shuts down and reboots like this a second time, then the screen goes black and the front LED illuminates white and nothing happens. I can shut down the phone by holding the power button, then boot into fastboot manual using power + volume up. However if i try to boot the phone normally or boot into recovery mode, it repeats the same symptoms.
I'm unaware if I've soft or hard bricked the device. Like i mentioned i'm able to boot it into fastboot just fine and can get TWRP to come up with a boot command via ADB. But no matter how many times i try to install Magisk(I tried both v18 the guide mentions and the latest v19 from their site) i can't get it to boot.
I'm aware i also used an outdated version of TWRP(the one the guide mentions). i tried to flash twrp-3.3.0-1(latest version for dumpling) but cannot. I believe because a version of TWRP is already flashed on the device?
Can anyone help me out?
Hi all,
I'm facing the same issues as Josh and came seeking help, as well, so any help would be greatly appreciated! This is my first foray into Android coming from Windows 10 Mobile, which I'm still using two weeks after purchasing the 5T because of these issues. No matter what I do, I cannot get it to work and am now stuck in the same loop as mentioned above.
I'm attempting to install LineageOS and followed the instructions on its official site to a T, but have never been able to get it to boot into the OS. The only difference from the original poster's issue is that I'm not trying to root the device.
Thanks again for any help!

Hi, on my search how to flash TWRP revovery ROM I stumbled upon your post. With my first attempts, I did not even manage to get the official TWRP to run on my op5T - got always blue led - basically the same symptoms without trying to root. Meanwhile LOS works fine on my OP5T (I updated to the latest OOS then flashed and booted twrp-3.3.0-0-20190427-codeworkx-dumpling.img.).
ANYWAY my solution to unbrick and reinstall OxygenOS again was the...
... official unbrick tool - can be found in this forum when searching after (still cannot post links): OnePlus 5T Unbricking Tool
There is also another page here on the forum collecting different unbricking tools - although I am not aware how they are - since I used another source by googling for "How to Unbrick OnePlus 5T with OnePlus 5T Unbrick Tool (Unroot/Fix bootloop)".
Hope you get it running again, like I did.

TWRP for Sony XZ2c instead of Lineage Recovery?

Hi everyone
After some research, I can't find a succeful way to install TWRP recovery instead of Lineage stock recovery.
It's really embarasing because I'm currently setting up my brand new XZ2c compact to run the way I want it to on Lineage OS 17.1 with Magisk and Xposed modules, and I experienced 3 or 4 endless bootloop that led me to fully format my phone after bunch of hours setting it and tailoring it up... Huge waste of time, frustration overload, as you could expect. So, I really miss tremendous TWRP backup fonctionnality I used to run frequently on my old Z5c... :crying:
Does anyone here as figured out how to replace Lineage stock recovery on this device? Is so, I'd really to hear him out
Have a good week-end!

Have you seen this- https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-android-10-stock-sodp-xz2-c-p-3-twrp-unofficial.4074403/ ? I haven't tried it on Lineage, but might work...
Hi levone1 & thanks for answering,
I've tried this one, but I get adb\fastboot.exe: unknown option -- disable-verity
Hi guys!
Today I tried again to install TWRP on my Sonyh Xperia XZ2C because LineageOS Recovery doesn't provide Nandroid backup, which is a shame.
I tried many ways described over the web, none of those worked, and I ended up with a boot loop at startup with that naughty message "your device is corrupted it cannot be trusted and will not boot". I can't boot to Lineage, neither to recovery. I'm stuck.
With device turned off, I can eventually press volume down, plug it to computer, access fastboot mode (blue led), flash+boot the LineageOSrecovery.img, then the device restart, Sony logo appears... and that's all, I'm stuck with logo in boot loop, and I can't go anywhere further.
I tried to change boot slot (without knowing if it could help with this problem at all) but I alway get "unknown option".
I'm panicking right now, I can't find any way out to this bootloop, if someone could help it will be sooo appreciated!
I tried hard to find a solution for 4 hours now, I'm completly stuck and I can't even sleep. That's why I finally reached out here.
Did you ever find a solution @tomboudiboudi ?

Possibly bricked OP3

Hello guys,
Not sure if it's the right place to ask for help, but I really hope it is.
TLDR: been using an Android 8.0 custom ROM for ages (3 years now), thought I'd update to 10, but I couldn't through TWRP 3.5.4; after that I've read that I should install Oxygen OS 9.0 first, and then I'll be able to update to custom ROM 10.0.
So here I am, trying to flash an official ROM based on XDA (which should be working as it did work for lot of people) - it does work, although when I'd try to boot the system, it's stuck on the OP logo for a min, and then I'm dropped in the bootloader.
So going back to TWRP (yes, it did not overwrite TWRP for some reason) - doing the exact same stuff, nothing happens. Tried the unbrick tool too, but it's stuck on Param Preprocessing for 30 mins. Still have TWRP on my phone, and I can boot into TWRP.
Question: what the frick should I do now?
Hoping for some helpful answers! Thank you in advance. <3
