I received a notification of a system update on my Galaxy tabs 8.4, the update ( 6.01 ) downloaded, I selected install and the tablet rebooted and the “ installing system update” process starts, however the update gets to 85% and stays at that percentage for several minutes and the tablet then reboots and the installation starts again at 0%, goes to 85% then the same thing happens again, it is in a continuous loop which I cannot stop. I let the process continue until the battery was exhausted but when I plugged in the charger the same process started again. And I cannot access the tablet at all, can this process be stopped?

Hello, spec's!
I have following problem since august 2010:
After ordinyry ROM (not original) upgrade have usising phone several days, then switching off phone on night, on morning trying switch it on in vain. I've trying recharge akku through cable connected to phone, it charges half of minute then phone swithes on by self(seems like power button abridget but I've checked it with tester), starting showing T-Mobile logo "Stick together" then shows Windows logo then backlight fading then device restarts, so it happen infinite till battery fully goes empty. After that I've bought new battery with independent charger. I've recharging battery with external charger, after complete I placed battery in phone so same scenario with infinite restarting was happen.
Now on phone is installed original ROM and I can't install any other- in bootloader I can install only SPL's, but other ROM's not installs (flashing process freezes on 0%), also hard reset could not completes too- after loading phone in hard reset mode I push "volume up" but nothing hapens.
I haven't any ideas, somebody can help me? Thank you all.
Looked everywhere but couldn't find an answer to this problem.
My LS990 was on a MM ROM with TWRP recovery. I tried to install an app from another phone with Titanium Backup (Install App + Data) and it hung for a long time and then shut off. When I turned it on, it got to the startup animation and the froze. I removed and replaced the battery several times but always with the same result. Trying to boot into Recovery Mode got me to a blue screen, then it shut off.
I went into download mode and tried to flash LS990ZV4_04.51101 stock with LGFlashTool (which I have done before successfully). It only got to about 60% before stopping and shutting off. Now whenever I turn the phone on, after showing the LG logo it goes straight to the Firmware Update screen (without showing "download mode" first).
When I press Volume Down + Power it shows "Recovery Mode - loading..." for a couple of seconds and then shows Firmware Update.
On Device Manager the phone shows up as "LGE Mobile USB Serial port" (not AndroidNet)
When I tried flashing stock again with LG Flash Tool it gets to 38% and hangs forever. (done this several times)
I have pictures but XDA wont let me post outside links yet.
Is there anything I can do besides trying to short the pins?
I see that when I connect the phone to the PC without the battery inside it shows up as "Unknown Device".
Could I perhaps do something with that?
Basically, I was running S Rom (U ultra port one) and then my phone literally just turned off for no reason, when I tried to turn it on it kept turning off while booting so naturally I decided to just wipe cache and art cache, and then it stopped reading my battery all together, it is just giving the 0% sign while trying to boot it up even though I remember that it had 66% when I was using it and in recovery, its gotten rid of the battery sign all together in the top right where it used to be. My computer is also not able to detect my phone during recovery so I can't put a ROM on it to see if flashing some other ROM helps
UPDATE: It doesn't show 0% battery icon when booting up but it still turns off randomly during the booting up and still no battery sign in the recovery after a bit of charging
UPDATE 2: it now shows the 0% battery icon when I try to enter recovery or do anything at all like turn it on
UPDATE 3: It seems to be charging and gives me percentage but ROM still randomly turns off at boot and I still can't get into recovery without getting a 0% sign or use USB
UPDATE 4: I'm actually such a dumb **** my USB chord was broken, mods close this thread pls
So I had the RR-N-v5.8.5-20170926-n7100 custom os installed on my GTn7100 phone. Yesterday, the battery was drained. I had the wifi on and it was consuming battery very fast. So when I charged it to nearly hundred percent, the phone lagged crazily. I even noticed that the arrangements of the icons of my apps were changed. Then it hanged for about 5 seconds (the screen was on home) and then it went off. I was really confused as to what just happened. And turned it on, the phone is not booting anymore. It's just stuck on the "samsung galaxy gt n7100" boot screen (it's not on loop). I thought it's just some random bug and went to restart it again but to no avail. I had the TWRP 3.0.2-0 installed and thankfully it's still working after pressing the combination. At the start, there is a prompt about 'unmodified system partition...' and I thought factory resetting the device might resolve it, but to no avail again. The process was succesful but in the terminal, there are errors in blue line that says that there is no storage to wipe or something like that. And there is also a prompt that the device has no os installed. Even in the mount settings, when i select a storage, the prompt says that the 'Internal storage (0mb)'
What to do?
I recommend flashing the latest stock ROM with Odin as a first step. If the phone boss properly, then you know it was a software problem.
My phone is TA-1043. All of the sudden my phone started to restart itself. The power options started to popup from right side automatically and the phone started to restart. Afterwards, I somehow managed to reset the phone but the problem solved for few hours until I connected it to wifi the google play store started to update some apps. I remember there was an unknown app which was installed automatically and again to phone started to restart. This happened after reset and I didn't even signed in my account at that time. I even managed to open recovery but the response there was unresponsive. The phone quickly rebooted itself from recovery mode and got stuck in bootloop. There is no charging animation which shows percentages. There is other charging animation the one without percentage and after putting it on for charge for fews mins the phone automatically starts, stucks in the start screen/Android one and again restarts. As per Nokia, there is an issue with board. And the price quote of the board is more than the phone itself. Kindly share complete details that how can I fix my phone. If the issue is with the board then the phone shouldn't even turn on or go into recovery mode or download mode.
