anyone working on this yet? just asking
No Google now
I had to look up on youtube to see how the dialer functioned. I have used the launcher which I do not care for, and really have not found a great desire for the google now features which seem to be deeply integrated in that dialer.. I think one more generation and I may be interested.
It looks like on the home page of xda that Kitkat is already being worked on by cyanogenmod for certain devices. You may want to check there.
Enjoy!

There are to my knowledge 3 ROMs for 4.4. CM omni and one other who's name is drawing a blank. I would advise will03s unofficial cm as that's what I'm using and seems to be the most stable

Hey guys I'm using Google voice a lot and im wondering if there is is way to get Voice+, which Is a CM app, to work on other ROMs that aren't Cm based. I know its some internal workings going on in the cm ROM itself so i was wondering of this is even possible?

The answer is Xvoice+ on the Xposed Framework repo=)
THE LINKED ZIP FILE CONTAINS OTHER ZIP FILES THAT ARE FLASHABLE BUT THE MAIN ZIP ITSELF IS NOT. IT IS MERELY AN ARCHIVE OF ALL OF MY PROGRESS IN ONE PLACE.
Also, this is currently for the LS980, but once I can figure out how to get it to boot, it shouldn't be difficult to have a patch out a day later for all variants. So, if you're a dev or know a bit about rom development and have a LS980, feel free to lend a hand or use this to get your own miui v6 port running.
I'm uploading my progress. It gets past the LG logo and tries to actually boot but just boot loops for the time being. Once I figure out how to get adb to let me logcat it, I'll find the problem.
This is a port of a port, porting the nexus 5 miui v6 to the LS980 (the only model I have access to) by way of cm11 nightly releases. When I try to boot it, adb detects the device but won't connect. Using adb logcat just hangs and says waiting for device.
So, I'm releasing my current work. Maybe one of you guys can get an actual logcat out of it or something to help me get this thing to boot.
Note: I'm not responsible for any of the work on the nexus5 port. The instructions for flashing it on the LG G2 are pretty much the same as the nexus 5, so check out the thread for the nexus 5 port:

I have a few classes I need to get out of the way first and have to get an infuse 4g in proper working order to ship out to Florida. I'm pretty excited to see that there's interest and I'll definitely message you as soon as I'm free.

I've never seen a KitKat based v5 rom. It was the only nexus 5 miui port that was based on a version of Android we have booting on the G2. I tried a v5 port with cm10.1, but I can't get it to even flash on twrp so I gave up and went looking for nexus 5 miui because internally it's really very close to the G2.

my email is for hangouts. I don't have a Verizon Variant but I do have experience porting MIUI to devices that haven't had it. I made the first MIUI rom available for the ATT and Tmobile variants of the S3

It booted for you?
If so, what model, bootloader, and radio? (Hell, maybe I just didn't wait long enough...I've never had a rom first boot take more than ten minutes on the G2 so I called it a day after ten minutes)

It's for the D802, and I have the LS980. It's pretty difficult to develop with a base rom from another device entirely because I don't know which bugs are from miui and which are from using a D802 rom on LS980. Since this project uses CM11 for the LS980 as a base, which works pretty well, I can check which is causing the bug by flashing CM11 after doing a nand backup and trying to reproduce the bug in CM11.

One of the very first ROMs that I tried for this phone remained on the LG boot logo for 15 whole minutes on the first boot, so I wouldn't be surprised.

Wondering this also. Especially interested if it enhance the stabilization on video. I wish someone can make xposed module so non-nougat can run it, just like the Google assistant ones.

If you want hard as a rock stability, FreedomOS 1.6 is the way to go.
If you want to have the newest OxygenOS look with additional features, FreedomOS 1.10 (based on OOS 3.5.5 CB) is a great choice. I'm using it at the moment and it is pretty stable.

I ran official CM13 Snapshot 08/20 for 3 month as it is quite stable and all needed features are already implemented + the Oxygens OS Camera Port is very usefull.
I regularly try other roms and most of them don't fullfill my needs or are packed with features I don't need.
I recently switched to Oxygen OS Open Beta 7. For me its the first community build that is really usable with just a minimal lack of features CM13 has already implemented.
